aye alamdaar-e-wafa bazu katane wale
Oh, standard-bearer of loyalty, Abbas (as), whose arms were severed!
mit gaye khud tere parcham ko mitaane waale
Those who tried to erase your flag, they themselves were erased!
aye alamdaar-e-wafa bazu katane wale
Oh, standard-bearer of loyalty, Abbas (as), whose arms were severed!
tujh ko darya ki ,rawani ka ,salam aaya hai.
khoon paani ke ewaz, apna bahane walay.
The flowing river itself has sent its greetings to you!
You who shed your own blood in place of water [for the thirsty camp]!
mit gaye khud tere parcham ko mitaane waale
aye alamdaar-e-wafa bazu katane wale
Those who tried to erase your flag, they themselves were erased!
Oh, standard-bearer of loyalty, Abbas (as), whose arms were severed!
aaj jin hathoon ne, mashkezay, mein bhar
li hai furat.
kal yehi haath they, khaybar ko uthane
walay.
The very hands that today filled the waterskin from the Euphrates…
These same hands were the ones that once lifted the gates of Khaybar!

aye alamdaar-e-wafa bazu katane wale

panjtan apna, karam tujh pe, karein gay
har dam.
parcham-e-hazrat-e, abbas uthane
walay.
The Panjtan [the Holy Household of five] will always bestow their blessings upon you
you who raise the flag of Hazrat Abbas (as)!

nook-e-naiza pe, tilawat se, kiya hai sabit.
kaun quraan pe, khanjar hain chalaney
walay.
From atop the spear, with [His] recitation, it was proven:
who were truly the ones to wield the dagger against the Quran itself!

sar qalam ho gaya, islam, bachaney ke liye.
aisay hotey hain muham-mad ke
gharanay walay.
The head was severed to save Islam!
