Beta Hai Tu Ali Ka Zahra Ki Tu Dua Hai

Keeping screen awake…

beta hai tu ali ka, zahra ki tu dua hai

shabbir tera aaka, ummul baneen maa hai

har surato chalan mai haider se na juda hai

ta hashr tuj se kaayam dunya main bas wafa hai

You are Ali's (as) son, you are Fatima's (as) prayer

Husayn (as) is your Master, and Ummul Baneen is your mother!

In every aspect of your character and conduct, you are inseparable from Ali (as)

Until the Day of Judgment, loyalty in this world endures because of you!

abbas abbas abbas

Abbas, Abbas, Abbas!

tere alam ko thaame, har shaks keh raha hai

mazloome kerbala ka, zainab ka waasta hai

pardesi koyi aysa, pardes me na ujde

sadke mei uske jis ka, ghar baar lutgaya hai

Holding your banner, everyone is saying…

For the sake of the oppressed one of Karbala, and for Zaynab (as)!

May no stranger suffer such ruin in a foreign land

For the sake of the one whose home and family were utterly plundered!

abbas abbas abbas

Abbas, Abbas, Abbas!

us wakt jabke zainab, darbaar mei gayi thi

qari namazio sey, mehfil saji huwi thi

zaalim yeh puchta tha, ghazi tera kaha hai

baalo se muh chupaaye, zainab yeh keh rahi thi

At that moment when Zaynab (as) had to go into the court

A gathering was arrayed there, full of reciters and those performing prayers.

The oppressor asked, "Where is your Ghazi [Abbas (as)] now?"

With her face hidden by her hair, Zaynab (as) was saying this:

abbas abbas abbas

Abbas, Abbas, Abbas!

taqdeer ke sataye, tere dar pe sar jhukaye

ashko ki iltija ham, ghaazi tuje sunaye

beemare saaribaan ke, zakhmo ka waasta hai

jitne bhi khasta dil hai, mowla shifa wo paaye

We who are tormented by fate, bowing our heads at your door

Our plea is made of tears, Abbas (as) we make it heard to you!

For the sake of the wounds of the sick Imam Sajjad (as)…

May all those with broken hearts find healing, oh Master!

abbas abbas abbas

Abbas, Abbas, Abbas!

dil ki muraad gazi, tere alam se paaey

roti huwi jo maaen, tere alam pe aaey

zahra ke dardey pehlu ka, deti hai waasta

fizza ki kaneezi mei, mera bhi naam aaey

Oh Ghazi Abbas (as), may our heart's desires be fulfilled by your banner

The weeping mothers who come to your banner

They give the plea by the pain in Fatima's (as) side…

"May my name also be included in the servitude of Fizza!"

abbas abbas abbas

Abbas, Abbas, Abbas!
