The mourner for the oppressed one of Karbala, Husayn (as), has arrived!

zainab (sa) barehna sar jo bazaar aa gai
The mourner for the oppressed one of Karbala, Husayn (as), has arrived!
As Zaynab (as) entered the marketplace, her head uncovered!
talwar kay bagair larungi main aesi jang
khutbay parhungi aesay kay dushman bhi hongain tang
daikho hussain (as) tum bhi hamaray jihad ko
zainab (sa) hai aj ban kay alamdar aa gai
Without a sword, I will fight such a battle!
I will deliver such sermons that even the enemies will be distressed!
Look, Husayn (as), you too, at my holy struggle!
Today, Zaynab (as) has arrived, becoming the flag-bearer!

The mourner for the oppressed one of Karbala, Husayn (as), has arrived!
zainab (sa) nay zindagi main na daikhi koi kushi
roti huwi woh sham ki rahon main mar gai
tanha lahad main bhai ko rone kay waste
sarkar panjetan ki woh ghamkhaar aa gai
Zaynab (as) never saw any joy in her life…
Weeping, she passed away on the roads of Shaam [Damascus].
To mourn her brother [Husayn (as)] alone in her grave…
She has come as the sorrowful supporter of the Master of the Panjetan [Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Ali (as), Fatima (as), Hassan (as), and Husayn (as)]!

The mourner for the oppressed one of Karbala, Husayn (as), has arrived!
jis dum utha yeh shor kay pyase ko mar lo
jaldi karo nabi (saw) kay nawasay ko mar lo
sun kar yeh shor dhundti tanha hussain ko
maqtal main bint e haider e karar (as) aa gai
The moment that cry rose up, "Kill the thirsty one!"
"Hurry, kill the grandson of the Prophet (pbuh)!"
Hearing this uproar, searching for Husayn (as) all alone…
The daughter of Hayder-e-Karrar (Ali (as)) arrived in the battlefield!

The mourner for the oppressed one of Karbala, Husayn (as), has arrived!
chehlum ko karbala main jo pohancha tha qafla
zainab (sa) nay keh kay nakai say khud ko giraya tha
badle chuka kay baba kay saray mairay hussain (as)
chehlum mananay apki zawaar aa gai
When the caravan arrived in Karbala for Chehlum [the fortieth day of mourning]…
Zaynab (as) had thrown herself off her camel, crying out!
"My Husayn (as), I have settled all the scores for our father (Ali (as))!
"Your pilgrim has returned to observe the Chehlum [fortieth day of mourning]!"

The mourner for the oppressed one of Karbala, Husayn (as), has arrived!
mehshar kay roz ayegi jab naib e batool
tanweer yeh kahain gay khuda say mairay rasool
zinda rakhai hain jis nay irade hussain (as) kay
ya rab woh mairay dee’n ki madadgaar aa gai
On the Day of Judgment, when the representative of Batool [Fatima (as)] arrives…
Tanveer, my Prophet (pbuh) will say this to God:
"The one who kept Husayn's (as) intentions alive,"
"Oh Lord, that helper of my faith has arrived!"
