المسد

Al-Masad · The Palm Fiber

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 111:1

   تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ ۝١

   QaraiPerish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he!

2. 111:2

   مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ ۝٢

   QaraiNeither his wealth availed him, nor what he had earned.

3. 111:3

   سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ ۝٣

   QaraiSoon he will enter the blazing fire,

4. 111:4

   وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ ۝٤

   Qaraiand his wife [too], the firewood carrier,

5. 111:5

   فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ ۝٥

   Qaraiwith a rope of palm fibre around her neck.
