ا
لٓمٓ ١Alif-lam-meem
Alif, Lam, Meem.Ali Quli Qarai
Alif, Lām, Meem.Saheeh International

30:2
غُلِبَتِ
ٱ ل رُّو مُ ٢Ghulibati arroom
The Byzantines has been vanquishedAli Quli Qarai
The Byzantines have been defeatedSaheeh International
-
30:3
ف
ِىٓ أَدْ نَىٱ لْأَرْضِ وَهُم م ِّنۢ ب َعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُو نَ ٣Fee adna al-ardi wahum minbaAAdi ghalabihim sayaghliboon
in a nearby land, but they, after their defeat, will be victoriousAli Quli Qarai
In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcomeSaheeh International
-
30:4
فِى بِضْعِ سِنِينَ ۗ لِلَّهِ
ٱ لْأَمْرُ مِن ق َبْ لُ وَمِنۢ ب َعْدُ ۚ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ ۢي َفْرَحُٱ لْمُؤْمِنُو نَ ٤Fee bidAAi sineena lillahial-amru min qablu wamin baAAdu wayawma-ithin yafrahualmu/minoon
in a few years. All command belongs to Allah, before this and hereafter, and on that day the faithful will rejoiceAli Quli Qarai
Within three to nine years. To Allāh belongs the command [i.e., decree] before and after. And that day the believers will rejoiceSaheeh International

30:5
بِنَصْرِ
ٱ للَّهِ ۚ يَنص ُرُ مَن ي َشَا ٓءُ ۖ وَهُوَٱ لْعَزِيزُٱ ل رَّحِي مُ ٥Binasri Allahi yansuruman yashao wahuwa alAAazeezu arraheem
at Allah’s help. He helps whomever He wishes, and He is the All-mighty, the All-merciful.Ali Quli Qarai
In the victory of Allāh. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.Saheeh International

30:6
وَعْدَ
ٱ للَّهِ ۖ لَا يُخْلِفُٱ للَّهُ وَعْدَهُۥ وَلَٰ كِنّ َ أَكْثَرَٱ ل نّ َاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُو نَ ٦WaAAda Allahi la yukhlifu AllahuwaAAdahu walakinna akthara annasi layaAAlamoon
[This is] a promise of Allah: Allah does not break His promise, but most people do not know.Ali Quli Qarai
[It is] the promise of Allāh. Allāh does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.Saheeh International

30:7
يَعْلَمُونَ ظَ
ٰ هِرً ۭا م ِّنَٱ لْحَيَو ٰ ةِٱ ل دُّنْيَا وَهُمْ عَنِٱ لَْٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ غَٰ فِلُو نَ ٧YaAAlamoona thahiranmina alhayati addunya wahum AAanial-akhirati hum ghafiloon
They know just an outward aspect of the life of the world, but they are oblivious of the Hereafter.Ali Quli Qarai
They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware.Saheeh International

30:8
أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُو
ا۟ فِىٓ أَنف ُسِهِم ۗ م َّا خَلَقَٱ للَّهُٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱ لْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ ۢم ُّسَمًّ ۭى ۗ و َإِنّ َ كَثِيرً ۭا م ِّنَٱ ل نّ َاسِ بِلِقَآئِ رَبِّهِمْ لَكَٰ فِرُو نَ ٨Awa lam yatafakkaroo fee anfusihim makhalaqa Allahu assamawati wal-ardawama baynahuma illa bilhaqqiwaajalin musamman wa-inna katheeran mina annasibiliqa-i rabbihim lakafiroon
Have they not reflected in their own souls? Allah did not create the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them except with consummate wisdom and for a specified term. Indeed many people disbelieve in the encounter with their Lord.Ali Quli Qarai
Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allāh has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.Saheeh International

30:9
أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُو
ا۟ فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ فَيَنظ ُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰ قِبَةُٱ لَّذِينَ مِن ق َبْ لِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوٓ ا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۭو َأَثَارُوا۟ ٱ لْأَرْضَ وَعَمَرُوهَآ أَكْثَرَ مِمّ َا عَمَرُوهَا وَجَا ٓءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم ب ِٱ لْبَيِّنَٰ تِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَٱ للَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰ كِن ك َانُوٓ ا۟ أَنف ُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُو نَ ٩Awa lam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihimkanoo ashadda minhum quwwatan waatharoo al-ardawaAAamarooha akthara mimma AAamarooha wajaat-humrusuluhum bilbayyinati fama kana Allahuliyathlimahum walakin kanoo anfusahumyathlimoon
Have they not travelled in the land and seen how was the fate of those who were before them? They were more powerful than them, and they plowed the earth and developed it more than they have developed it. Their apostles brought them manifest proofs. So it was not Allah who wronged them, but it was they who used to wrong themselves.Ali Quli Qarai
Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed [or excavated] the earth and built it up more than they [i.e., the Makkans] have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allāh would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.Saheeh International

30:10
ثُ
مّ َ كَانَ عَٰ قِبَةَٱ لَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓ ُٔوا۟ ٱ ل سُّو ٓأَىٰٓ أَن ك َذَّبُوا۟ بَِٔايَٰ تِٱ للَّهِ وَكَانُوا۟ بِهَا يَسْتَهْزِءُو نَ ١٠Thumma kana AAaqibata allatheenaasaoo assoo-a an kaththaboo bi-ayatiAllahi wakanoo biha yastahzi-oon
Then the fate of those who committed misdeeds was that they denied the signs of Allah and they used to deride them.Ali Quli Qarai
Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allāh and used to ridicule them.Saheeh International
-
30:11
ٱللَّهُ يَ
بْ دَؤُا۟ ٱ لْخَلْقَ ثُمّ َ يُعِيدُهُۥ ثُمّ َ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُو نَ ١١Allahu yabdao alkhalqa thummayuAAeeduhu thumma ilayhi turjaAAoon
Allah originates the creation, then He will bring it back, then you will be brought back to Him.Ali Quli Qarai
Allāh begins creation; then He will repeat it; then to Him you will be returned.Saheeh International

30:12
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ
ٱ ل سَّاعَةُ يُبْ لِسُٱ لْمُجْ رِمُو نَ ١٢Wayawma taqoomu assaAAatuyublisu almujrimoon
And when the Hour sets in, the guilty will despair.Ali Quli Qarai
And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will be in despair.Saheeh International

30:13
وَلَمْ يَك
ُن ل َّهُم م ِّن ش ُرَكَا ٓئِهِمْ شُفَعَٰٓ ؤُا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ بِشُرَكَا ٓئِهِمْ كَٰ فِرِي نَ ١٣Walam yakun lahum min shuraka-ihimshufaAAao wakanoo bishuraka-ihim kafireen
None of those whom they ascribed as partners [to Allah] will intercede for them, and they will disavow their partners.Ali Quli Qarai
And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners.Saheeh International

30:14
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ
ٱ ل سَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ۢي َتَفَرَّقُو نَ ١٤Wayawma taqoomu assaAAatuyawma-ithin yatafarraqoon
The day the Hour sets in, they will be divided on that day [in separate groups]:Ali Quli Qarai
And the Day the Hour appears - that Day they will become separated.Saheeh International
-
30:15
فَأَ
مّ َاٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱ ل صَّٰ لِحَٰ تِ فَهُمْ فِى رَوْضَةٍ ۢي ُحْبَرُو نَ ١٥Faamma allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati fahum fee rawdatinyuhbaroon
As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, they shall be in a garden, rejoicing.Ali Quli Qarai
And as for those who had believed and done righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of Paradise], delighted.Saheeh International

30:16
وَأَ
مّ َاٱ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بَِٔايَٰ تِنَا وَلِقَآئِٱ لَْٔاخِرَةِ فَأُو۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ فِىٱ لْعَذَابِ مُحْضَرُو نَ ١٦Waamma allatheena kafaroo wakaththaboobi-ayatina waliqa-i al-akhiratifaola-ika fee alAAathabi muhdaroon
But as for those who were faithless and denied Our signs and the encounter of the Hereafter, they will be brought to the punishment.Ali Quli Qarai
But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to remain].Saheeh International
-
30:17
فَسُ
بْ حَٰ نَٱ للَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُو نَ ١٧Fasubhana Allahi heenatumsoona waheena tusbihoon
So glorify Allah when you enter evening and when you rise at dawn.Ali Quli Qarai
So exalted is Allāh when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning.Saheeh International
-
30:18
وَلَهُ
ٱ لْحَمْدُ فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّ ۭا و َحِينَ تُظْهِرُو نَ ١٨Walahu alhamdu fee assamawatiwal-ardi waAAashiyyan waheena tuthhiroon
To Him belongs all praise in the heavens and the earth, at nightfall and when you enter noontime.Ali Quli Qarai
And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon.Saheeh International
-
30:19
يُخْرِجُ
ٱ لْحَىَّ مِنَٱ لْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُٱ لْمَيِّتَ مِنَٱ لْحَىِّ وَيُحْىِٱ لْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ وَكَذَٰ لِكَ تُخْرَجُو نَ ١٩Yukhriju alhayya mina almayyitiwayukhriju almayyita mina alhayyi wayuhyee al-ardabaAAda mawtiha wakathalika tukhrajoon
He brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living, and revives the earth after its death. Likewise, you [too] shall be raised [from the dead].Ali Quli Qarai
He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out.Saheeh International
-
30:20
وَمِنْ ءَايَ
ٰ تِهِۦٓ أَنْ خَلَقَكُم م ِّن ت ُرَابٍ ۢث ُمّ َ إِذَآ أَنت ُم ب َشَرٌ ۭت َنت َشِرُو نَ ٢٠Wamin ayatihi an khalaqakummin turabin thumma itha antum basharun tantashiroon
Of His signs is that He created you from dust, then, behold, you are humans scattering [all over]!Ali Quli Qarai
And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth].Saheeh International

30:21
وَمِنْ ءَايَ
ٰ تِهِۦٓ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم م ِّنْ أَنف ُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰ جً ۭا ل ِّتَسْكُنُوٓ ا۟ إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم م َّوَدَّةً ۭو َرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنّ َ فِى ذَٰ لِكَ لََٔايَٰ تٍ ۢل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي َتَفَكَّرُو نَ ٢١Wamin ayatihi an khalaqa lakummin anfusikum azwajan litaskunoo ilayha wajaAAalabaynakum mawaddatan warahmatan inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yatafakkaroon
And of His signs is that He created for you mates from your own selves that you may take comfort in them, and He ordained affection and mercy between you. There are indeed signs in that for a people who reflect.Ali Quli Qarai
And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.Saheeh International

30:22
وَمِنْ ءَايَ
ٰ تِهِۦ خَلْقُٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ وَٱ خْتِلَٰ فُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَٰ نِكُمْ ۚ إِنّ َ فِى ذَٰ لِكَ لََٔايَٰ تٍ ۢل ِّلْعَٰ لِمِي نَ ٢٢Wamin ayatihi khalqu assamawatiwal-ardi wakhtilafu alsinatikumwaalwanikum inna fee thalika laayatinlilAAalimeen
Among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. There are indeed signs in that for those who know.Ali Quli Qarai
And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.Saheeh International
-
30:23
وَمِنْ ءَايَ
ٰ تِهِۦ مَنَامُكُم ب ِٱ لَّيْلِ وَٱ ل نّ َهَارِ وَٱ بْ تِغَا ٓؤُكُم م ِّن ف َضْلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنّ َ فِى ذَٰ لِكَ لََٔايَٰ تٍ ۢل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي َسْمَعُو نَ ٢٣Wamin ayatihi manamukumbillayli wannahari wabtighaokummin fadlihi inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yasmaAAoon
And of His signs is your sleep by night and day, and your pursuit of His bounty. There are indeed signs in that for a people who listen.Ali Quli Qarai
And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.Saheeh International
-
30:24
وَمِنْ ءَايَ
ٰ تِهِۦ يُرِيكُمُٱ لْبَرْقَ خَوْفً ۭا و َطَمَعً ۭا و َيُنَزِّلُ مِنَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ مَا ٓءً ۭف َيُحْىِۦ بِهِٱ لْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَآ ۚ إِنّ َ فِى ذَٰ لِكَ لََٔايَٰ تٍ ۢل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي َعْقِلُو نَ ٢٤Wamin ayatihi yureekumualbarqa khawfan watamaAAan wayunazzilu mina assama-imaan fayuhyee bihi al-arda baAAda mawtihainna fee thalika laayatin liqawminyaAAqiloon
And of His signs is that He shows you the lightning, arousing fear and hope, and He sends down water from the sky, and with it revives the earth after its death. There are indeed signs in that for people who exercise their reason.Ali Quli Qarai
And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason.Saheeh International

30:25
وَمِنْ ءَايَ
ٰ تِهِۦٓ أَن ت َقُومَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءُ وَٱ لْأَرْضُ بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۚ ثُمّ َ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ دَعْوَةً ۭم ِّنَٱ لْأَرْضِ إِذَآ أَنت ُمْ تَخْرُجُو نَ ٢٥Wamin ayatihi an taqooma assamaowal-ardu bi-amrihi thumma itha daAAakumdaAAwatan mina al-ardi itha antum takhrujoon
And of His signs is that the sky and the earth stand by His command, and then, when He calls you forth from the earth, behold, you will come forth.Ali Quli Qarai
And of His signs is that the heaven and earth stand [i.e., remain] by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth.Saheeh International

30:26
وَلَهُ
ۥ مَن ف ِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ ۖ كُلٌّ ۭل َّهُۥ قَٰ نِتُو نَ ٢٦Walahu man fee assamawatiwal-ardi kullun lahu qanitoon
To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to Him.Ali Quli Qarai
And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and earth. All are to Him devoutly obedient.Saheeh International
-
30:27
وَهُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى يَبْ دَؤُا۟ ٱ لْخَلْقَ ثُمّ َ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَهُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَيْهِ ۚ وَلَهُٱ لْمَثَلُٱ لْأَعْلَىٰ فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ ۚ وَهُوَٱ لْعَزِيزُٱ لْحَكِي مُ ٢٧Wahuwa allathee yabdao alkhalqathumma yuAAeeduhu wahuwa ahwanu AAalayhi walahu almathalu al-aAAlafee assamawati wal-ardiwahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeem
It is He who originates the creation, and then He will bring it back—and that is more simple for Him. His is the loftiest description in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.Ali Quli Qarai
And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. To Him belongs the highest description [i.e., attribute] in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.Saheeh International

30:28
ضَرَبَ لَك
ُم م َّثَلً ۭام ِّنْ أَنف ُسِكُمْ ۖ هَل لَّكُم م ِّن م َّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰ نُكُم م ِّن ش ُرَكَا ٓءَ فِى مَا رَزَقْ نَٰ كُمْ فَأَنت ُمْ فِيهِ سَوَا ٓءٌ ۭت َخَافُونَهُمْ كَخِيفَتِكُمْ أَنف ُسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰ لِكَ نُفَصِّلُٱ لَْٔايَٰ تِ لِقَوْمٍ ۢي َعْقِلُو نَ ٢٨Daraba lakum mathalan min anfusikumhal lakum mimma malakat aymanukum min shurakaafee ma razaqnakum faantum feehi sawaon takhafoonahumkakheefatikum anfusakum kathalika nufassilu al-ayatiliqawmin yaAAqiloon
He draws for you an example from yourselves: Do you have among your slaves any partners [who may share] in what We have provided you, so that you are equal in its respect, and you revere them as you revere one another? Thus do We elaborate the signs for people who exercise their reason.Ali Quli Qarai
He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess [i.e., slaves] any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] would fear them as your fear of one another [within a partnership]? Thus do We detail the verses for a people who use reason.Saheeh International
-
30:29
بَلِ
ٱ تَّبَعَٱ لَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓ ا۟ أَهْوَا ٓءَهُم ب ِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۢۖ ف َمَن ي َهْدِى مَنْ أَضَلَّٱ للَّهُ ۖ وَمَا لَهُم م ِّن ن َّٰ صِرِي نَ ٢٩Bali ittabaAAa allatheena thalamooahwaahum bighayri AAilmin faman yahdee man adallaAllahu wama lahum min nasireen
Indeed, the wrongdoers follow their own desires without any knowledge. So who will guide those whom Allah has led astray? They will have no helpers.Ali Quli Qarai
But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allāh has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers.Saheeh International
-
30:30
فَأَقِمْ وَ
جْ هَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفً ۭا ۚ ف ِطْ رَتَٱ للَّهِٱ لَّتِى فَطَرَٱ ل نّ َاسَ عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْ دِيلَ لِخَلْقِٱ للَّهِ ۚ ذَٰ لِكَٱ ل دِّينُٱ لْقَيِّمُ وَلَٰ كِنّ َ أَكْثَرَٱ ل نّ َاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُو نَ ٣٠Faaqim wajhaka liddeeni haneefanfitrata Allahi allatee fatara annasaAAalayha la tabdeela likhalqi Allahi thalikaaddeenu alqayyimu walakinna akthara annasila yaAAlamoon
So set your heart as a person of pure faith on this religion, the original nature endowed by Allah according to which He originated mankind (There is no altering Allah’s creation; that is the upright religion, but most people do not know.)Ali Quli Qarai
So direct your face [i.e., self] toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fiṭrah of Allāh upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allāh. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.Saheeh International
-
30:31
۞ مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ وَ
ٱ تَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱ ل صَّلَو ٰ ةَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ مِنَٱ لْمُشْرِكِي نَ ٣١Muneebeena ilayhi wattaqoohuwaaqeemoo assalata wala takoonoomina almushrikeen
—turning to Him in penitence, and be wary of Him, and maintain the prayer, and do not be one of the polytheistsAli Quli Qarai
[Adhere to it], turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do not be of those who associate others with AllāhSaheeh International
-
30:32
مِنَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ شِيَعً ۭا ۖ ك ُلُّ حِزْبٍۭ ب ِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُو نَ ٣٢Mina allatheena farraqoo deenahum wakanooshiyaAAan kullu hizbin bima ladayhim farihoon
—those who split up their religion and became sects: each faction boasting about what it possessed.Ali Quli Qarai
[Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.Saheeh International
-
30:33
وَإِذَا مَسَّ
ٱ ل نّ َاسَ ضُرٌّ ۭد َعَوْا۟ رَبَّهُم م ُّنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ ثُمّ َ إِذَآ أَذَاقَهُم م ِّنْهُ رَحْمَةً إِذَا فَرِيقٌ ۭم ِّنْهُم ب ِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُو نَ ٣٣Wa-itha massa annasa durrundaAAaw rabbahum muneebeena ilayhi thumma itha athaqahumminhu rahmatan itha fareequn minhum birabbihimyushrikoon
When distress befalls people, they supplicate their Lord, turning to Him in penitence. Then, when He lets them taste His mercy, behold, a part of them ascribe partners to their Lord,Ali Quli Qarai
And when adversity touches the people, they call upon their Lord, turning in repentance to Him. Then when He lets them taste mercy from Him, at once a party of them associate others with their Lord,Saheeh International

30:34
لِيَكْفُرُو
ا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰ هُمْ ۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُو نَ ٣٤Liyakfuroo bima ataynahumfatamattaAAoo fasawfa taAAlamoon
being ungrateful toward what We have given them. So let them enjoy. Soon they will know!Ali Quli Qarai
So that they will deny what We have granted them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know.Saheeh International
-
30:35
أَمْ أَ
نز َلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَٰ نً ۭا ف َهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يُشْرِكُو نَ ٣٥Am anzalna AAalayhim sultananfahuwa yatakallamu bima kanoo bihi yushrikoon
Have We sent down to them any authority which might assert what they associate with Him?Ali Quli Qarai
Or have We sent down to them an authority [i.e., a proof or scripture], and it speaks of what they have been associating with Him?Saheeh International
-
30:36
وَإِذ
َآ أَذَقْ نَاٱ ل نّ َاسَ رَحْمَةً ۭف َرِحُوا۟ بِهَا ۖ وَإِن ت ُصِبْ هُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۢ ب ِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْ نَطُو نَ ٣٦Watha athaqna annasarahmatan farihoo biha wa-in tusibhumsayyi-atun bima qaddamat aydeehim itha hum yaqnatoon
When We let people taste [Our] mercy, they boast about it; but should an ill visit them because of what their hands have sent ahead, behold, they become despondent!Ali Quli Qarai
And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair.Saheeh International

30:37
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْ
ا۟ أَنّ َٱ للَّهَ يَبْ سُطُٱ ل رِّزْقَ لِمَن ي َشَا ٓءُ وَيَقْ دِرُ ۚ إِنّ َ فِى ذَٰ لِكَ لََٔايَٰ تٍ ۢل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي ُؤْمِنُو نَ ٣٧Awa lam yaraw anna Allaha yabsutuarrizqa liman yashao wayaqdiru inna fee thalikalaayatin liqawmin yu/minoon
Do they not see that Allah expands the provision for whomever He wishes, and tightens it? There are indeed signs in that for a people who have faith.Ali Quli Qarai
Do they not see that Allāh extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.Saheeh International

30:38
فََٔاتِ ذَا
ٱ لْقُرْبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱ لْمِسْكِينَ وَٱ بْ نَٱ ل سَّبِيلِ ۚ ذَٰ لِكَ خَيْرٌ ۭل ِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْ هَٱ للَّهِ ۖ وَأُو۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ هُمُٱ لْمُفْلِحُو نَ ٣٨Faati tha alqurba haqqahuwalmiskeena wabna assabeeli thalikakhayrun lillatheena yureedoona wajha Allahi waola-ikahumu almuflihoon
Give the relative his due, and the needy and the traveller [as well]. That is better for those who seek Allah’s pleasure, and it is they who are the felicitous.Ali Quli Qarai
So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh, and it is they who will be the successful.Saheeh International

30:39
وَم
َآ ءَاتَيْتُم م ِّن ر ِّبً ۭا ل ِّيَرْبُوَا۟ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰ لِٱ ل نّ َاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُوا۟ عِند َٱ للَّهِ ۖ وَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُم م ِّن ز َكَو ٰ ةٍ ۢت ُرِيدُونَ وَجْ هَٱ للَّهِ فَأُو۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ هُمُٱ لْمُضْعِفُو نَ ٣٩Wama ataytum min ribanliyarbuwa fee amwali annasi falayarboo AAinda Allahi wama ataytum min zakatintureedoona wajha Allahi faola-ika humu almudAAifoon
What you give in usury in order that it may increase people’s wealth does not increase with Allah. But what you pay as zakat seeking Allah’s pleasure—it is they who will be given a manifold increase.Ali Quli Qarai
And whatever you give for interest [i.e., advantage] to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allāh. But what you give in zakāh, desiring the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh - those are the multipliers.Saheeh International

30:40
ٱللَّهُ
ٱ لَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمّ َ رَزَقَكُمْ ثُمّ َ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمّ َ يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ هَلْ مِن ش ُرَكَا ٓئِكُم م َّن ي َفْعَلُ مِن ذ َٰ لِكُم م ِّن شَىْءٍ ۢۚ س ُبْ حَٰ نَهُۥ وَتَعَٰ لَىٰ عَمّ َا يُشْرِكُو نَ ٤٠Allahu allathee khalaqakumthumma razaqakum thumma yumeetukum thumma yuhyeekum halmin shuraka-ikum man yafAAalu min thalikum minshay-in subhanahu wataAAala AAammayushrikoon
It is Allah who created you and then He provided for you, then He makes you die, then He will bring you to life. Is there anyone among your ‘partners’ who does anything of that kind? Immaculate is He and exalted above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him]!Ali Quli Qarai
Allāh is the one who created you, then provided for you, then will cause you to die, and then will give you life. Are there any of your "partners" who does anything of that? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.Saheeh International

30:41
ظَهَرَ
ٱ لْفَسَادُ فِىٱ لْبَرِّ وَٱ لْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِىٱ ل نّ َاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم ب َعْضَٱ لَّذِى عَمِلُوا۟ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُو نَ ٤١Thahara alfasadu feealbarri walbahri bima kasabat aydee annasiliyutheeqahum baAAda allathee AAamiloolaAAallahum yarjiAAoon
Corruption has appeared in land and sea because of the doings of the people’s hands, that He may make them taste something of what they have done, so that they may come back.Ali Quli Qarai
Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He [i.e., Allāh] may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].Saheeh International

30:42
قُلْ سِيرُو
ا۟ فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ فَٱ نظ ُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰ قِبَةُٱ لَّذِينَ مِن ق َبْ لُ ۚ كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم م ُّشْرِكِي نَ ٤٢Qul seeroo fee al-ardi fanthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablu kanaaktharuhum mushrikeen
Say, ‘Travel over the land, and see how was the fate of those who were before [you], most of whom were polytheists.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, [O Muḥammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allāh].Saheeh International
-
30:43
فَأَقِمْ وَ
جْ هَكَ لِلدِّينِٱ لْقَيِّمِ مِن ق َبْ لِ أَن ي َأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ ۭل َّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَٱ للَّهِ ۖ يَوْمَئِذٍ ۢي َصَّدَّعُو نَ ٤٣Faaqim wajhaka liddeeni alqayyimimin qabli an ya/tiya yawmun la maradda lahu mina Allahiyawma-ithin yassaddaAAoon
So set your heart on the upright religion, before there comes a day irrevocable from Allah. On that day they shall be split [into various groups].Ali Quli Qarai
So direct your face [i.e., self] toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allāh of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided.Saheeh International

30:44
مَ
ن ك َفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُۥ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَٰ لِحً ۭا ف َلِأَنف ُسِهِمْ يَمْهَدُو نَ ٤٤Man kafara faAAalayhi kufruhu waman AAamila salihanfali-anfusihim yamhadoon
Whoever is faithless shall face the consequences of his faithlessness, and those who act righteously only prepare for their own souls,Ali Quli Qarai
Whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness - they are for themselves preparing,Saheeh International
-
30:45
لِيَ
جْ زِىَٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱ ل صَّٰ لِحَٰ تِ مِن ف َضْلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنّ َهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّٱ لْكَٰ فِرِي نَ ٤٥Liyajziya allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati min fadlihiinnahu la yuhibbu alkafireen
so that He may reward those who have faith and do righteous deeds out of His grace. Indeed, He does not like the faithless.Ali Quli Qarai
That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers.Saheeh International
-
30:46
وَمِنْ ءَايَ
ٰ تِهِۦٓ أَن ي ُرْسِلَٱ ل رِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَٰ تٍ ۢو َلِيُذِيقَكُم م ِّن ر َّحْمَتِهِۦ وَلِتَجْ رِىَٱ لْفُلْكُ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْ تَغُوا۟ مِن ف َضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُو نَ ٤٦Wamin ayatihi an yursila arriyahamubashshiratin waliyutheeqakum min rahmatihiwalitajriya alfulku bi-amrihi walitabtaghoo min fadlihiwalaAAallakum tashkuroon
And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bearers of good news and to let you taste of His mercy, and that the ships may sail by His command, and that you may seek of His bounty, and so that you may give [Him] thanks.Ali Quli Qarai
And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy [i.e., rain] and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.Saheeh International

30:47
وَلَقَ
دْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن ق َبْ لِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَا ٓءُوهُم ب ِٱ لْبَيِّنَٰ تِ فَٱ نت َقَمْنَا مِنَٱ لَّذِينَ أَجْ رَمُوا۟ ۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُٱ لْمُؤْمِنِي نَ ٤٧Walaqad arsalna min qablika rusulanila qawmihim fajaoohum bilbayyinatifantaqamna mina allatheena ajramoo wakanahaqqan AAalayna nasru almu/mineen
Certainly We sent apostles to their people before you, and they brought them manifest proofs. Then We took vengeance upon those who were guilty, and it was a must for Us to help the faithful.Ali Quli Qarai
And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers.Saheeh International

30:48
ٱللَّهُ
ٱ لَّذِى يُرْسِلُٱ ل رِّيَٰ حَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابً ۭا ف َيَبْ سُطُهُۥ فِىٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ كَيْفَ يَشَا ٓءُ وَيَجْ عَلُهُۥ كِسَفً ۭا ف َتَرَىٱ لْوَدْ قَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَٰ لِهِۦ ۖ فَإِذَآ أَصَابَ بِهِۦ مَن ي َشَا ٓءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْ شِرُو نَ ٤٨Allahu allathee yursilu arriyahafatutheeru sahaban fayabsutuhu fee assama-ikayfa yashao wayajAAaluhu kisafan fatara alwadqayakhruju min khilalihi fa-itha asaba bihiman yashao min AAibadihi itha humyastabshiroon
It is Allah who sends the winds. Then they generate a cloud, then He spreads it as He wishes in the sky, and forms it into fragments, whereat you see the rain issuing from its midst. Then, when He strikes with it whomever of His servants that He wishes, behold, they rejoice;Ali Quli Qarai
It is Allāh who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoiceSaheeh International
-
30:49
وَإِ
ن ك َانُوا۟ مِن ق َبْ لِ أَن ي ُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِم م ِّن ق َبْ لِهِۦ لَمُبْ لِسِي نَ ٤٩Wa-in kanoo min qabli an yunazzalaAAalayhim min qablihi lamubliseen
and indeed they had been despondent earlier, before it was sent down upon them.Ali Quli Qarai
Although they were, before it was sent down upon them - before that, in despair.Saheeh International
-
30:50
فَ
ٱ نظ ُرْ إِلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰ رِ رَحْمَتِٱ للَّهِ كَيْفَ يُحْىِٱ لْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَآ ۚ إِنّ َ ذَٰ لِكَ لَمُحْىِٱ لْمَوْتَىٰ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ ۢق َدِي رٌۭ ٥٠Fanthur ila atharirahmati Allahi kayfa yuhyee al-ardabaAAda mawtiha inna thalika lamuhyee almawtawahuwa AAala kulli shay-in qadeer
So observe the effects of Allah’s mercy: how He revives the earth after its death! Indeed He is the reviver of the dead, and He has power over all things.Ali Quli Qarai
So observe the effects of the mercy of Allāh - how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent.Saheeh International
-
30:51
وَلَئِنْ أَرْسَلْنَا رِي
حً ۭا ف َرَأَوْهُ مُصْفَرًّ ۭا ل َّظَلُّوا۟ مِنۢ ب َعْدِهِۦ يَكْفُرُو نَ ٥١Wala-in arsalna reehanfaraawhu musfarran lathalloo min baAAdihiyakfuroon
And if We send a wind and they see it turn yellow, they will surely become ungrateful after that.Ali Quli Qarai
But if We should send a [bad] wind and they saw [their crops] turned yellow, they would remain thereafter disbelievers.Saheeh International
-
30:52
فَإِ
نّ َكَ لَا تُسْمِعُٱ لْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُٱ ل صُّمّ َٱ ل دُّعَا ٓءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟ مُدْ بِرِي نَ ٥٢Fa-innaka la tusmiAAu almawtawala tusmiAAu assumma adduAAaaitha wallaw mudbireen
Indeed you cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs [upon you],Ali Quli Qarai
So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating.Saheeh International
-
30:53
وَم
َآ أَنت َ بِهَٰ دِٱ لْعُمْىِ عَن ض َلَٰ لَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن ت ُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن ي ُؤْمِنُ بَِٔايَٰ تِنَا فَهُم م ُّسْلِمُو نَ ٥٣Wama anta bihadi alAAumyi AAandalalatihim in tusmiAAu illa man yu/minu bi-ayatinafahum muslimoon
nor can you lead the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear who have faith in Our signs and have submitted.Ali Quli Qarai
And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [in submission to Allāh].Saheeh International
-
30:54
۞ ٱللَّهُ
ٱ لَّذِى خَلَقَكُم م ِّن ض َعْفٍ ۢث ُمّ َ جَعَلَ مِنۢ ب َعْدِ ضَعْفٍ ۢق ُوَّةً ۭث ُمّ َ جَعَلَ مِنۢ ب َعْدِ قُوَّةٍ ۢض َعْفً ۭا و َشَيْبَةً ۭۚ ي َخْلُقُ مَا يَشَا ٓءُ ۖ وَهُوَٱ لْعَلِيمُٱ لْقَدِي رُ ٥٤Allahu allathee khalaqakum mindaAAfin thumma jaAAala min baAAdi daAAfin quwwatanthumma jaAAala min baAAdi quwwatin daAAfan washaybatanyakhluqu ma yashao wahuwa alAAaleemu alqadeer
It is Allah who created you from [a state of] weakness, then He gave you power after weakness. Then, after power, He ordained weakness and old age: He creates whatever He wishes, and He is the All-knowing, the All-powerful.Ali Quli Qarai
Allāh is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent.Saheeh International

30:55
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ
ٱ ل سَّاعَةُ يُقْ سِمُٱ لْمُجْ رِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍ ۢۚ ك َذَٰ لِكَ كَانُوا۟ يُؤْفَكُو نَ ٥٥Wayawma taqoomu assaAAatuyuqsimu almujrimoona ma labithoo ghayra saAAatin kathalikakanoo yu/fakoon
On the day when the Hour sets in, the guilty will swear that they had remained only for an hour. That is how they were used to lying [in the world].Ali Quli Qarai
And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded.Saheeh International
-
30:56
وَقَالَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱ لْعِلْمَ وَٱ لْإِيمَٰ نَ لَقَدْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِى كِتَٰ بِٱ للَّهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِٱ لْبَعْثِ ۖ فَهَٰ ذَا يَوْمُٱ لْبَعْثِ وَلَٰ كِنّ َكُمْ كُنت ُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُو نَ ٥٦Waqala allatheena ootooalAAilma wal-eemana laqad labithtum fee kitabiAllahi ila yawmi albaAAthi fahatha yawmualbaAAthi walakinnakum kuntum la taAAlamoon
But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, ‘Certainly you remained in Allah’s Book until the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know.’Ali Quli Qarai
But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allāh's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know."Saheeh International

30:57
فَيَوْمَئِ
ذٍ ۢل َّا يَنف َعُٱ لَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُو نَ ٥٧Fayawma-ithin la yanfaAAu allatheenathalamoo maAAthiratuhum wala humyustaAAtaboon
On that day, the excuses of the wrongdoers will not benefit them, nor will they be asked to propitiate [Allah].Ali Quli Qarai
So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allāh].Saheeh International

30:58
وَلَقَ
دْ ضَرَبْ نَا لِلنّ َاسِ فِى هَٰ ذَاٱ لْقُرْءَانِ مِن ك ُلِّ مَثَلٍ ۢۚ و َلَئِن ج ِئْتَهُم ب َِٔايَةٍ ۢل َّيَقُولَنّ َٱ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓ ا۟ إِنْ أَنت ُمْ إِلَّا مُبْ طِلُو نَ ٥٨Walaqad darabna linnasifee hatha alqur-ani min kulli mathalin wala-inji/tahum bi-ayatin layaqoolanna allatheena kafarooin antum illa mubtiloon
Certainly we have drawn for mankind in this Quran every [kind of] parable. Indeed if you bring them a sign, the faithless will surely say, ‘You are nothing but fabricators!’Ali Quli Qarai
And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur’ān from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muḥammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers."Saheeh International

30:59
كَذَ
ٰ لِكَ يَطْ بَعُٱ للَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُو نَ ٥٩Kathalika yatbaAAu AllahuAAala quloobi allatheena la yaAAlamoon
Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know.Ali Quli Qarai
Thus does Allāh seal the hearts of those who do not know.Saheeh International
-
30:60
فَ
ٱ صْبِرْ إِنّ َ وَعْدَٱ للَّهِ حَقٌّ ۭۖ و َلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنّ َكَٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُو نَ ٦٠Fasbir inna waAAda Allahihaqqun wala yastakhiffannaka allatheena layooqinoon
So be patient! Allah’s promise is indeed true. And do not let yourself be upset by those who have no conviction.Ali Quli Qarai
So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith].Saheeh International
