بِسْمِ
-
61:1
سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى
ٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَمَا فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَٱ لْعَزِيزُٱ لْحَكِي مُ ١Sabbaha lillahi ma fee assamawatiwama fee al-ardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeem
Whatever there is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.Ali Quli Qarai
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth exalts Allāh, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.Saheeh International

61:2
يَ
ٰٓ أَيُّهَاٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُو نَ ٢Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoolima taqooloona ma la tafAAaloon
O you who have faith! Why do you say what you do not do?Ali Quli Qarai
O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do?Saheeh International

61:3
كَبُرَ مَ
قْ تًا عِند َٱ للَّهِ أَن ت َقُولُوا۟ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُو نَ ٣Kabura maqtan AAinda Allahi antaqooloo ma la tafAAaloon
It is greatly outrageous to Allah that you should say what you do not do.Ali Quli Qarai
Greatly hateful in the sight of Allāh is that you say what you do not do.Saheeh International

61:4
إِ
نّ َٱ للَّهَ يُحِبُّٱ لَّذِينَ يُقَٰ تِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِهِۦ صَفًّ ۭا ك َأَنّ َهُم ب ُنْيَٰ نٌ ۭم َّرْصُو صٌۭ ٤Inna Allaha yuhibbu allatheenayuqatiloona fee sabeelihi saffan kaannahum bunyanunmarsoos
Indeed Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks, as if they were a compact structure.Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, Allāh loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a [single] structure joined firmly.Saheeh International

61:5
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِه
ِۦ يَٰ قَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِى وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنّ ِى رَسُولُٱ للَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَلَمّ َا زَاغُوٓ ا۟ أَزَاغَٱ للَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ ۚ وَٱ للَّهُ لَا يَهْدِىٱ لْقَوْمَٱ لْفَٰ سِقِي نَ ٥Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi ya qawmi lima tu/thoonanee waqadtaAAlamoona annee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum falamma zaghooazagha Allahu quloobahum wallahu layahdee alqawma alfasiqeen
When Moses said to his people, ‘O my people! Why do you torment me, when you certainly know that I am Allah’s apostle to you?’ So when they swerved [from the right path], Allah made their hearts swerve, and Allah does not guide the transgressing lot.Ali Quli Qarai
And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you harm me while you certainly know that I am the messenger of Allāh to you?" And when they deviated, Allāh caused their hearts to deviate. And Allāh does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.Saheeh International

61:6
وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى
ٱ بْ نُ مَرْيَمَ يَٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰ ٓءِيلَ إِنّ ِى رَسُولُٱ للَّهِ إِلَيْكُم م ُّصَدِّقً ۭا ل ِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَٱ ل تَّوْرَىٰ ةِ وَمُبَشِّرًۢا ب ِرَسُولٍ ۢي َأْتِى مِنۢ ب َعْدِىٱ سْمُهُۥٓ أَحْمَدُ ۖ فَلَمّ َا جَا ٓءَهُم ب ِٱ لْبَيِّنَٰ تِ قَالُوا۟ هَٰ ذَا سِحْرٌ ۭم ُّبِي نٌۭ ٦Wa-ith qala AAeesa ibnumaryama ya banee isra-eela innee rasoolu Allahiilaykum musaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina attawratiwamubashshiran birasoolin ya/tee min baAAdee ismuhu ahmadufalamma jaahum bilbayyinati qaloohatha sihrun mubeen
And when Jesus son of Mary said, ‘O Children of Israel! Indeed I am the apostle of Allah to you, to confirm what is before me of the Torah, and to give the good news of an apostle who will come after me, whose name is Ahmad.’ But when he brought them manifest proofs, they said, ‘This is plain magic.’Ali Quli Qarai
And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allāh to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Aḥmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."Saheeh International

61:7
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِ
مّ َنِٱ فْتَرَىٰ عَلَىٱ للَّهِٱ لْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْ عَىٰٓ إِلَىٱ لْإِسْلَٰ مِ ۚ وَٱ للَّهُ لَا يَهْدِىٱ لْقَوْمَٱ ل ظَّٰ لِمِي نَ ٧Waman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi alkathiba wahuwa yudAAaila al-islami wallahu layahdee alqawma aththalimeen
Who is a greater wrongdoer than him who fabricates falsehoods against Allah, while he is being summoned to Islam? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot.Ali Quli Qarai
And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allāh untruth while he is being invited to Islām. And Allāh does not guide the wrongdoing people.Saheeh International

61:8
يُرِيدُونَ لِيُ
طْ فُِٔوا۟ نُورَٱ للَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰ هِهِمْ وَٱ للَّهُ مُتِمّ ُ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَٱ لْكَٰ فِرُو نَ ٨Yureedoona liyutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim wallahu mutimmu noorihi walawkariha alkafiroon
They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light though the faithless should be averse.Ali Quli Qarai
They want to extinguish the light of Allāh with their mouths, but Allāh will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.Saheeh International

61:9
هُوَ
ٱ لَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱ لْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِٱ لْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَىٱ ل دِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَٱ لْمُشْرِكُو نَ ٩Huwa allathee arsala rasoolahu bilhudawadeeni alhaqqi liyuthhirahu AAala addeenikullihi walaw kariha almushrikoon
It is He who has sent His Apostle with guidance and the true religion that He may make it prevail over all religions though the polytheists should be averse.Ali Quli Qarai
It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although those who associate others with Allāh dislike it.Saheeh International

61:10
يَ
ٰٓ أَيُّهَاٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ تِجَٰ رَةٍ ۢت ُنج ِيكُم م ِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِي مٍۢ ١٠Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoohal adullukum AAala tijaratin tunjeekum min AAathabinaleem
O you who have faith! Shall I show you a deal that will deliver you from a painful punishment?Ali Quli Qarai
O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment?Saheeh International

61:11
تُؤْمِنُونَ بِ
ٱ للَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُجَٰ هِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِٱ للَّهِ بِأَمْوَٰ لِكُمْ وَأَنف ُسِكُمْ ۚ ذَٰ لِكُمْ خَيْرٌ ۭل َّكُمْ إِن ك ُنت ُمْ تَعْلَمُو نَ ١١Tu/minoona billahiwarasoolihi watujahidoona fee sabeeli Allahi bi-amwalikumwaanfusikum thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoon
Have faith in Allah and His Apostle, and wage jihad in the way of Allah with your persons and possessions. That is better for you, should you know.Ali Quli Qarai
[It is that] you believe in Allāh and His Messenger and strive in the cause of Allāh with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you only knew.Saheeh International

61:12
يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُ
دْ خِلْكُمْ جَنّ َٰ تٍ ۢت َجْ رِى مِن ت َحْتِهَاٱ لْأَنْهَٰ رُ وَمَسَٰ كِنَ طَيِّبَةً ۭف ِى جَنّ َٰ تِ عَدْ نٍ ۢۚ ذ َٰ لِكَٱ لْفَوْزُٱ لْعَظِي مُ ١٢Yaghfir lakum thunoobakumwayudkhilkum jannatin tajree min tahtihaal-anharu wamasakina tayyibatan fee jannatiAAadnin thalika alfawzu alAAatheem
He will forgive your sins and admit you into gardens with streams running in them, and into good dwellings in the Gardens of Eden; that is the great success.Ali Quli Qarai
He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment.Saheeh International

61:13
وَأُخْرَىٰ تُحِبُّونَهَا ۖ نَصْ
رٌ ۭم ِّنَٱ للَّهِ وَفَتْحٌ ۭق َرِيبٌ ۭۗ و َبَشِّرِٱ لْمُؤْمِنِي نَ ١٣Waokhra tuhibboonaha nasrunmina Allahi wafathun qarreebun wabashshirialmu/mineen
And other [blessings] you cherish: help from Allah and a victory near at hand, and give good news to the faithful.Ali Quli Qarai
And [you will obtain] another [favor] that you love - victory from Allāh and an imminent conquest; and give good tidings to the believers.Saheeh International

61:14
يَ
ٰٓ أَيُّهَاٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوٓ ا۟ أَنص َارَٱ للَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَىٱ بْ نُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّۧ نَ مَنْ أَنص َارِىٓ إِلَىٱ للَّهِ ۖ قَالَٱ لْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنص َارُٱ للَّهِ ۖ فََٔامَنَت طَّا ٓئِفَةٌ ۭم ِّنۢ ب َنِىٓ إِسْرَٰ ٓءِيلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّا ٓئِفَةٌ ۭۖ ف َأَيَّدْ نَاٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ ظَٰ هِرِي نَ ١٤Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookoonoo ansara Allahi kama qala AAeesaibnu maryama lilhawariyyeena man ansaree ilaAllahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnuansaru Allahi faamanat ta-ifatun minbanee isra-eela wakafarat ta-ifatun faayyadnaallatheena amanoo AAala AAaduwwihim faasbahoothahireen
O you who have faith! Be Allah’s helpers, just as Jesus son of Mary said to his disciples, ‘Who will be my helpers for Allah’s sake?’ The Disciples said, ‘We will be Allah’s helpers!’ So a group of the Children of Israel believed, and a group disbelieved. Then We strengthened the faithful against their enemies, and they came to prevail [over them].Ali Quli Qarai
O you who have believed, be supporters of Allāh, as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allāh?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allāh." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.Saheeh International
