بِسْمِ

10:1
ا
لٓ ر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰ تُٱ لْكِتَٰ بِٱ لْحَكِي مِ ١Alif-lam-ra tilka ayatualkitabi alhakeem
Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the signs of the Wise Book.Ali Quli Qarai
Alif, Lām, Rā. These are the verses of the wise Book.Saheeh International

10:2
أَكَانَ لِل
نّ َاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ رَجُلٍ ۢم ِّنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنذ ِرِٱ ل نّ َاسَ وَبَشِّرِٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓ ا۟ أَنّ َ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْ قٍ عِند َ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ قَالَٱ لْكَٰ فِرُونَ إِنّ َ هَٰ ذَا لَسَٰ حِرٌ ۭم ُّبِي نٌ ٢Akana linnasi AAajabanan awhayna ila rajulin minhum an anthiriannasa wabashshiri allatheena amanooanna lahum qadama sidqin AAinda rabbihim qala alkafiroonainna hatha lasahirun mubeen
Does it seem odd to these people that We have revealed to a man from among themselves, [declaring], ‘Warn mankind, and give good news to the faithful that they are in good standing with their Lord’? The faithless say, ‘This is indeed a plain magician.’Ali Quli Qarai
Have the people been amazed that We revealed [revelation] to a man from among them, [saying], "Warn mankind and give good tidings to those who believe that they will have a [firm] precedence of honor with their Lord"? [But] the disbelievers say, "Indeed, this is an obvious magician."Saheeh International

10:3
إِ
نّ َ رَبَّكُمُٱ للَّهُٱ لَّذِى خَلَقَٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ۢث ُمّ َٱ سْتَوَىٰ عَلَىٱ لْعَرْشِ ۖ يُدَبِّرُٱ لْأَمْرَ ۖ مَا مِن ش َفِيعٍ إِلَّا مِنۢ ب َعْدِ إِذْنِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰ لِكُمُٱ للَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَٱ عْبُدُوهُ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُو نَ ٣Inna rabbakumu Allahu allatheekhalaqa assamawati wal-ardafee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa AAalaalAAarshi yudabbiru al-amra ma min shafeeAAin illamin baAAdi ithnihi thalikumu Allahu rabbukumfaAAbudoohu afala tathakkaroon
Indeed your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and then settled on the Throne, directing the command. There is no intercessor, except by His leave. That is Allah, your Lord! So worship Him. Will you not then take admonition?Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, your Lord is Allāh, who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne, arranging the matter [of His creation]. There is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allāh, your Lord, so worship Him. Then will you not remember?Saheeh International

10:4
إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِي
عً ۭا ۖ و َعْدَٱ للَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ إِنّ َهُۥ يَبْ دَؤُا۟ ٱ لْخَلْقَ ثُمّ َ يُعِيدُهُۥ لِيَجْ زِىَٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱ ل صَّٰ لِحَٰ تِ بِٱ لْقِسْطِ ۚ وَٱ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ ۭم ِّنْ حَمِيمٍ ۢو َعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ ب ِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُو نَ ٤Ilayhi marjiAAukum jameeAAan waAAda Allahihaqqan innahu yabdao alkhalqa thumma yuAAeeduhu liyajziyaallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo assalihatibilqisti wallatheena kafaroo lahumsharabun min hameemin waAAathabun aleemunbima kanoo yakfuroon
To Him will be the return of you all; [that is] Allah’s true promise. Indeed, He originates the creation, then He will bring it back that He may reward with justice those who have faith and do righteous deeds. As for the faithless, they shall have boiling water for drink, and a painful punishment because of what they used to defy.Ali Quli Qarai
To Him is your return all together. [It is] the promise of Allāh [which is] truth. Indeed, He begins the [process of] creation and then repeats it that He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds, in justice. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment for what they used to deny.Saheeh International

10:5
هُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى جَعَلَٱ ل شَّمْسَ ضِيَا ٓءً ۭو َٱ لْقَمَرَ نُورً ۭا و َقَدَّرَهُۥ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَٱ ل سِّنِينَ وَٱ لْحِسَابَ ۚ مَا خَلَقَٱ للَّهُ ذَٰ لِكَ إِلَّا بِٱ لْحَقِّ ۚ يُفَصِّلُٱ لَْٔايَٰ تِ لِقَوْمٍ ۢي َعْلَمُو نَ ٥Huwa allathee jaAAala ashshamsadiyaan walqamara nooran waqaddarahu manazilalitaAAlamoo AAadada assineena walhisabama khalaqa Allahu thalika illa bilhaqqiyufassilu al-ayati liqawmin yaAAlamoon
It is He who made the sun a radiance and the moon a light, and ordained its phases that you might know the number of years and the calculation [of time]. Allah did not create all that except with justice. He elaborates the signs for a people who have knowledge.Ali Quli Qarai
It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases - that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allāh has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know.Saheeh International

10:6
إِ
نّ َ فِىٱ خْتِلَٰ فِٱ لَّيْلِ وَٱ ل نّ َهَارِ وَمَا خَلَقَٱ للَّهُ فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ لََٔايَٰ تٍ ۢل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي َتَّقُو نَ ٦Inna fee ikhtilafi allayli wannahariwama khalaqa Allahu fee assamawatiwal-ardi laayatin liqawmin yattaqoon
Indeed in the alternation of night and day, and whatever Allah has created in the heavens and the earth, there are surely signs for a people who are Godwary.Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and [in] what Allāh has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear Allāh.Saheeh International

10:7
إِ
نّ َٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَا ٓءَنَا وَرَضُوا۟ بِٱ لْحَيَو ٰ ةِٱ ل دُّنْيَا وَٱ طْ مَأَنّ ُوا۟ بِهَا وَٱ لَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ ءَايَٰ تِنَا غَٰ فِلُو نَ ٧Inna allatheena la yarjoona liqaanawaradoo bilhayati addunyawatmaannoo biha wallatheenahum AAan ayatina ghafiloon
Indeed those who do not expect to encounter Us and who are pleased with the life of this world and satisfied with it, and those who are oblivious of Our signsAli Quli Qarai
Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our signs -Saheeh International

10:8
أُ
و۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ مَأْوَىٰ هُمُٱ ل نّ َارُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُو نَ ٨Ola-ika ma/wahumu annarubima kanoo yaksiboon
—it is they whose refuge shall be the Fire because of what they used to earn.Ali Quli Qarai
For those their refuge will be the Fire because of what they used to earn.Saheeh International

10:9
إِ
نّ َٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱ ل صَّٰ لِحَٰ تِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُم ب ِإِيمَٰ نِهِمْ ۖ تَجْ رِى مِن ت َحْتِهِمُٱ لْأَنْهَٰ رُ فِى جَنّ َٰ تِٱ ل نّ َعِي مِ ٩Inna allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati yahdeehim rabbuhumbi-eemanihim tajree min tahtihimu al-anharufee jannati annaAAeem
Indeed those who have faith and do righteous deeds, their Lord guides them by the means of their faith. Streams will run for them in gardens of bliss.Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure.Saheeh International

10:10
دَعْوَ
ىٰ هُمْ فِيهَا سُبْ حَٰ نَكَٱ ل لَّهُمّ َ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَٰ مٌ ۭۚ و َءَاخِرُ دَعْوَىٰ هُمْ أَنِٱ لْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّٱ لْعَٰ لَمِي نَ ١٠DaAAwahum feeha subhanakaallahumma watahiyyatuhum feeha salamunwaakhiru daAAwahum ani alhamdu lillahirabbi alAAalameen
Their call therein will be, ‘O Allah! Immaculate are You!’ and their greeting therein will be, ‘Peace!’ and their concluding call, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.’Ali Quli Qarai
Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allāh," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allāh, Lord of the worlds!"Saheeh International

10:11
۞ وَلَوْ يُعَجِّلُ
ٱ للَّهُ لِلنّ َاسِٱ ل شَّرَّٱ سْتِعْجَالَهُم ب ِٱ لْخَيْرِ لَقُضِىَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَجَلُهُمْ ۖ فَنَذَرُٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَا ٓءَنَا فِى طُغْيَٰ نِهِمْ يَعْمَهُو نَ ١١Walaw yuAAajjilu Allahu linnasiashsharra istiAAjalahum bilkhayri laqudiyailayhim ajaluhum fanatharu allatheena layarjoona liqaana fee tughyanihimyaAAmahoon
Were Allah to hasten ill for mankind with their haste for good, their term would have been over. But We leave those who do not expect to encounter Us bewildered in their rebellion.Ali Quli Qarai
And if Allāh was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly.Saheeh International

10:12
وَإِذَا مَسَّ
ٱ لْإِنس َٰ نَٱ ل ضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنۢب ِهِۦٓ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَا ٓئِمً ۭا ف َلَمّ َا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُۥ مَرَّ كَأَن ل َّمْ يَدْ عُنَآ إِلَىٰ ضُرٍّ ۢم َّسَّهُۥ ۚ كَذَٰ لِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُو نَ ١٢Wa-itha massa al-insana addurrudaAAana lijanbihi aw qaAAidan aw qa-imanfalamma kashafna AAanhu durrahu marra kaanlam yadAAuna ila durrin massahu kathalikazuyyina lilmusrifeena ma kanoo yaAAmaloon
When distress befalls man, he supplicates Us, [lying] on his side, sitting, or standing; but when We remove his distress, he passes on as if he had never supplicated Us concerning the distress that had befallen him. What they have been doing is thus presented as decorous to the transgressors.Ali Quli Qarai
And when affliction touches man, he calls upon Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing; but when We remove from him his affliction, he continues [in disobedience] as if he had never called upon Us to [remove] an affliction that touched him. Thus is made pleasing to the transgressors that which they have been doing.Saheeh International

10:13
وَلَقَ
دْ أَهْلَكْنَاٱ لْقُرُونَ مِن ق َبْ لِكُمْ لَمّ َا ظَلَمُوا۟ ۙ وَجَا ٓءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم ب ِٱ لْبَيِّنَٰ تِ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚ كَذَٰ لِكَ نَجْ زِىٱ لْقَوْمَٱ لْمُجْ رِمِي نَ ١٣Walaqad ahlakna alquroona minqablikum lamma thalamoo wajaat-humrusuluhum bilbayyinati wama kanooliyu/minoo kathalika najzee alqawma almujrimeen
Certainly We destroyed generations before you when they perpetrated wrongs: their apostles brought them manifest proofs, but they would not have faith. Thus do We requite the guilty lot.Ali Quli Qarai
And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe. Thus do We recompense the criminal people.Saheeh International

10:14
ثُ
مّ َ جَعَلْنَٰ كُمْ خَلَٰٓ ئِفَ فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ مِنۢ ب َعْدِهِمْ لِنَنظ ُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُو نَ ١٤Thumma jaAAalnakum khala-ifafee al-ardi min baAAdihim linanthura kayfataAAmaloon
Then We made you successors on the earth after them that We may observe how you will act.Ali Quli Qarai
Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do.Saheeh International

10:15
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتُنَا بَيِّنَ
ٰ تٍ ۢۙ ق َالَٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَا ٓءَنَاٱ ئْتِ بِقُرْءَانٍ غَيْرِ هَٰ ذَآ أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ ۚ قُلْ مَا يَكُونُ لِىٓ أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُۥ مِن ت ِلْقَآئِ نَفْسِىٓ ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ ۖ إِنّ ِىٓ أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّى عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِي مٍۢ ١٥Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin qala allatheena layarjoona liqaana i/ti biqur-anin ghayri hathaaw baddilhu qul ma yakoonu lee an obaddilahu min tilqa-inafsee in attabiAAu illa ma yooha ilayyainnee akhafu in AAasaytu rabbee AAathabayawmin AAatheem
When Our manifest signs are recited to them, those who do not expect to encounter Us say, ‘Bring a Quran other than this, or alter it.’ Say, ‘I may not alter it of my own accord. I follow only what is revealed to me. Indeed should I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a tremendous day.’Ali Quli Qarai
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Bring us a Qur’ān other than this or change it." Say, [O Muḥammad], "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."Saheeh International

10:16
قُل لَّوْ ش
َا ٓءَٱ للَّهُ مَا تَلَوْتُهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَآ أَدْ رَىٰ كُم ب ِهِۦ ۖ فَقَدْ لَبِثْتُ فِيكُمْ عُمُرً ۭا م ِّن ق َبْ لِهِۦٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُو نَ ١٦Qul law shaa Allahu matalawtuhu AAalaykum wala adrakum bihi faqadlabithtu feekum AAumuran min qablihi afala taAAqiloon
Say, ‘Had Allah [so] wished, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I have dwelled among you for a lifetime before it. Do you not exercise your reason?’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "If Allāh had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I had remained among you a lifetime before it. Then will you not reason?"Saheeh International

10:17
فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِ
مّ َنِٱ فْتَرَىٰ عَلَىٱ للَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بَِٔايَٰ تِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنّ َهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُٱ لْمُجْ رِمُو نَ ١٧Faman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban aw kaththababi-ayatihi innahu la yuflihualmujrimoon
So who is a greater wrongdoer than him who fabricates a lie against Allah, or denies His signs? Indeed the guilty will not be felicitous.Ali Quli Qarai
So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allāh or denies His signs? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed.Saheeh International

10:18
وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِ
ن د ُونِٱ للَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنف َعُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ هَٰٓ ؤُلَا ٓءِ شُفَعَٰٓ ؤُنَا عِند َٱ للَّهِ ۚ قُلْ أَتُنَبُِّٔونَٱ للَّهَ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَلَا فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ ۚ سُبْ حَٰ نَهُۥ وَتَعَٰ لَىٰ عَمّ َا يُشْرِكُو نَ ١٨WayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi mala yadurruhum wala yanfaAAuhum wayaqooloonahaola-i shufaAAaona AAinda Allahiqul atunabbi-oona Allaha bima la yaAAlamufee assamawati wala fee al-ardisubhanahu wataAAala AAamma yushrikoon
They worship besides Allah that which neither causes them any harm, nor brings them any benefit, and they say, ‘These are our intercessors with Allah.’ Say, ‘Will you inform Allah about something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?’ Immaculate is He and exalted above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him]!Ali Quli Qarai
And they worship other than Allāh that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allāh." Say, "Do you inform Allāh of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.Saheeh International

10:19
وَمَا كَانَ
ٱ ل نّ َاسُ إِلَّآ أُمّ َةً ۭو َٰ حِدَةً ۭف َٱ خْتَلَفُوا۟ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ ۭس َبَقَتْ مِن ر َّبِّكَ لَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِيمَا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُو نَ ١٩Wama kana annasuilla ommatan wahidatan fakhtalafoo walawlakalimatun sabaqat min rabbika laqudiya baynahum feemafeehi yakhtalifoon
Mankind were but a single [religious] community; then they differed. And were it not for a prior decree of your Lord, decision would have been made between them concerning that about which they differ.Ali Quli Qarai
And mankind was not but one community [united in religion], but [then] they differed. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them [immediately] concerning that over which they differ.Saheeh International

10:20
وَيَقُولُونَ لَوْل
َآ أُنز ِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ ۭم ِّن ر َّبِّهِۦ ۖ فَقُلْ إِنّ َمَاٱ لْغَيْبُ لِلَّهِ فَٱ نت َظِرُوٓ ا۟ إِنّ ِى مَعَكُم م ِّنَٱ لْمُنت َظِرِي نَ ٢٠Wayaqooloona lawla onzila AAalayhi ayatunmin rabbihi faqul innama alghaybu lillahi fantathirooinnee maAAakum mina almuntathireen
They say, ‘Why has not some sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘[The knowledge of] the Unseen belongs only to Allah. So wait. I too am waiting along with you.’Ali Quli Qarai
And they say, "Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord?" So say, "The unseen is only for Allāh [to administer], so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."Saheeh International

10:21
وَإِذ
َآ أَذَقْ نَاٱ ل نّ َاسَ رَحْمَةً ۭم ِّنۢ ب َعْدِ ضَرَّا ٓءَ مَسَّتْهُمْ إِذَا لَهُم م َّكْرٌ ۭف ِىٓ ءَايَاتِنَا ۚ قُلِٱ للَّهُ أَسْرَعُ مَكْرًا ۚ إِنّ َ رُسُلَنَا يَكْتُبُونَ مَا تَمْكُرُو نَ ٢١Wa-itha athaqna annasarahmatan min baAAdi darraa massat-hum ithalahum makrun fee ayatina quli AllahuasraAAu makran inna rusulana yaktuboona matamkuroon
When We let people taste [Our] mercy after a distress that has befallen them, behold, they scheme against Our signs! Say, ‘Allah is more swift at devising.’ Indeed Our messengers write down what you scheme.Ali Quli Qarai
And when We give the people a taste of mercy after adversity has touched them, at once they conspire against Our verses. Say, "Allāh is swifter in strategy." Indeed, Our messengers [i.e., angels] record that which you conspire.Saheeh International

10:22
هُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِىٱ لْبَرِّ وَٱ لْبَحْرِ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا كُنت ُمْ فِىٱ لْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم ب ِرِيحٍ ۢط َيِّبَةٍ ۢو َفَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا جَا ٓءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ ۭو َجَا ٓءَهُمُٱ لْمَوْجُ مِن ك ُلِّ مَكَانٍ ۢو َظَنّ ُوٓ ا۟ أَنّ َهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ ۙ دَعَوُا۟ ٱ للَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُٱ ل دِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنج َيْتَنَا مِنْ هَٰ ذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنّ َ مِنَٱ ل شَّٰ كِرِي نَ ٢٢Huwa allathee yusayyirukum feealbarri walbahri hatta ithakuntum fee alfulki wajarayna bihim bireehin tayyibatinwafarihoo biha jaat-ha reehunAAasifun wajaahumu almawju min kulli makaninwathannoo annahum oheeta bihimdaAAawoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu addeenala-in anjaytana min hathihi lanakoonanna mina ashshakireen
It is He who carries you across land and sea. When you are in the ships, and they sail along with them with a favourable wind, exulting in it, there comes upon them a tempestuous wind and waves assail them from every side, and they think that they are besieged, they invoke Allah putting exclusive faith in Him, ‘If You deliver us from this, we will surely be among the grateful.’Ali Quli Qarai
It is He who enables you to travel on land and sea until, when you are in ships and they sail with them by a good wind and they rejoice therein, there comes a storm wind and the waves come upon them from every place and they expect to be engulfed, they supplicate Allāh, sincere to Him in religion, "If You should save us from this, we will surely be among the thankful."Saheeh International

10:23
فَلَ
مّ َآ أَنج َىٰ هُمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَبْ غُونَ فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِٱ لْحَقِّ ۗ يَٰٓ أَيُّهَاٱ ل نّ َاسُ إِنّ َمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنف ُسِكُم ۖ م َّتَٰ عَٱ لْحَيَو ٰ ةِٱ ل دُّنْيَا ۖ ثُمّ َ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُم ب ِمَا كُنت ُمْ تَعْمَلُو نَ ٢٣Falamma anjahum ithahum yabghoona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqi yaayyuha annasu innama baghyukum AAalaanfusikum mataAAa alhayati addunyathumma ilayna marjiAAukum fanunabbi-okum bimakuntum taAAmaloon
But when He delivers them, behold, they commit violations on the earth unduly! O mankind! Your violations are only to your own detriment. [These are] the wares of the life of this world; then to Us will be your return, whereat We will inform you concerning what you used to do.Ali Quli Qarai
But when He saves them, at once they commit injustice upon the earth without right. O mankind, your injustice is only against yourselves, [being merely] the enjoyment of worldly life. Then to Us is your return, and We will inform you of what you used to do.Saheeh International

10:24
إِ
نّ َمَا مَثَلُٱ لْحَيَو ٰ ةِٱ ل دُّنْيَا كَمَا ٓءٍ أَنز َلْنَٰ هُ مِنَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ فَٱ خْتَلَطَ بِهِۦ نَبَاتُٱ لْأَرْضِ مِمّ َا يَأْكُلُٱ ل نّ َاسُ وَٱ لْأَنْعَٰ مُ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَخَذَتِٱ لْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَٱ زَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنّ َ أَهْلُهَآ أَنّ َهُمْ قَٰ دِرُونَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَىٰ هَآ أَمْرُنَا لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارً ۭا ف َجَعَلْنَٰ هَا حَصِيدً ۭا ك َأَن ل َّمْ تَغْنَ بِٱ لْأَمْسِ ۚ كَذَٰ لِكَ نُفَصِّلُٱ لَْٔايَٰ تِ لِقَوْمٍ ۢي َتَفَكَّرُو نَ ٢٤Innama mathalu alhayatiaddunya kama-in anzalnahu mina assama-ifakhtalata bihi nabatu al-ardi mimmaya/kulu annasu wal-anAAamu hattaitha akhathati al-ardu zukhrufaha wazzayyanatwathanna ahluha annahum qadiroonaAAalayha ataha amruna laylan aw naharanfajaAAalnaha haseedan kaan lam taghnabil-amsi kathalika nufassilu al-ayatiliqawmin yatafakkaroon
The parable of the life of this world is that of water which We send down from the sky. It mingles with the earth’s vegetation from which humans and cattle eat. When the earth puts on its luster and is adorned, and its inhabitants think they have power over it, Our edict comes to it, by night or day, whereat We turn it into a mown field, as if it did not flourish the day before. Thus do We elaborate the signs for a people who reflect.Ali Quli Qarai
The example of [this] worldly life is but like rain which We have sent down from the sky that the plants of the earth absorb - [those] from which men and livestock eat - until, when the earth has taken on its adornment and is beautified and its people suppose that they have capability over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, and We make it as a harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday. Thus do We explain in detail the signs for a people who give thought.Saheeh International

10:25
وَ
ٱ للَّهُ يَدْ عُوٓ ا۟ إِلَىٰ دَارِٱ ل سَّلَٰ مِ وَيَهْدِى مَن ي َشَا ٓءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰ طٍ ۢم ُّسْتَقِي مٍۢ ٢٥Wallahu yadAAoo ila dariassalami wayahdee man yashao ila siratinmustaqeem
Allah invites to the abode of peace, and He guides whomever He wishes to a straight path.Ali Quli Qarai
And Allāh invites to the Home of Peace [i.e., Paradise] and guides whom He wills to a straight path.Saheeh International

10:26
۞ لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُو
ا۟ ٱ لْحُسْنَىٰ وَزِيَادَةٌ ۭۖ و َلَا يَرْهَقُ وُجُوهَهُمْ قَتَرٌ ۭو َلَا ذِلَّةٌ ۚ أُو۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ أَصْحَٰ بُٱ لْجَنّ َةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰ لِدُو نَ ٢٦Lillatheena ahsanoo alhusnawaziyadatun wala yarhaqu wujoohahum qatarun walathillatun ola-ika as-habu aljannatihum feeha khalidoon
Those who are virtuous shall receive the best reward and an enhancement. Neither dust nor abasement shall overcast their faces. They shall be the inhabitants of paradise, and they shall remain in it [forever].Ali Quli Qarai
For them who have done good is the best [reward] - and extra. No darkness will cover their faces, nor humiliation. Those are companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.Saheeh International

10:27
وَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ كَسَبُوا۟ ٱ ل سَّئَِّاتِ جَزَا ٓءُ سَيِّئَةٍۭ ب ِمِثْلِهَا وَتَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۭۖ م َّا لَهُم م ِّنَٱ للَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ ۢۖ ك َأَنّ َمَآ أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ قِطَعً ۭا م ِّنَٱ لَّيْلِ مُظْلِمًا ۚ أُو۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ أَصْحَٰ بُٱ ل نّ َارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰ لِدُو نَ ٢٧Wallatheena kasaboo assayyi-atijazao sayyi-atin bimithliha watarhaquhum thillatunma lahum mina Allahi min AAasimin kaannamaoghshiyat wujoohuhum qitaAAan mina allayli muthlimanola-ika as-habu annari humfeeha khalidoon
For those who have committed misdeeds, the requital of a misdeed shall be its like, and they shall be overcast by abasement. They shall have no one to protect [them] from Allah. [They will be] as if their faces were covered with dark patches of the night. They shall be the inmates of the Fire, and they shall remain in it [forever].Ali Quli Qarai
But they who have earned [blame for] evil doings - the recompense of an evil deed is its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them. They will have from Allāh no protector. It will be as if their faces are covered with pieces of the night - so dark [are they]. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.Saheeh International

10:28
وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِي
عً ۭا ث ُمّ َ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ مَكَانَكُمْ أَنت ُمْ وَشُرَكَا ٓؤُكُمْ ۚ فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ وَقَالَ شُرَكَا ٓؤُهُم م َّا كُنت ُمْ إِيَّانَا تَعْبُدُو نَ ٢٨Wayawma nahshuruhum jameeAAan thummanaqoolu lillatheena ashrakoo makanakum antumwashurakaokum fazayyalna baynahum waqalashurakaohum ma kuntum iyyanataAAbudoon
On the day when We gather them all together, We shall say to those who ascribe partners [to Allah], ‘Stay where you are—you and your partners!’ Then We shall set them apart from one another, and their partners will say, ‘It was not us that you worshipped.Ali Quli Qarai
And [mention, O Muḥammad], the Day We will gather them all together - then We will say to those who associated others with Allāh, "[Remain in] your place, you and your 'partners.'" Then We will separate them, and their "partners" will say, "You did not used to worship us,Saheeh International
-
10:29
فَكَفَىٰ بِ
ٱ للَّهِ شَهِيدًۢا ب َيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِن ك ُنّ َا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكُمْ لَغَٰ فِلِي نَ ٢٩Fakafa billahishaheedan baynana wabaynakum in kunna AAan AAibadatikumlaghafileen
Allah suffices as a witness between you and us. We were indeed unaware of your worship.’Ali Quli Qarai
And sufficient is Allāh as a witness between us and you that we were of your worship unaware."Saheeh International

10:30
هُنَالِكَ تَ
بْ لُوا۟ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ۢم َّآ أَسْلَفَتْ ۚ وَرُدُّوٓ ا۟ إِلَىٱ للَّهِ مَوْلَىٰ هُمُٱ لْحَقِّ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم م َّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُو نَ ٣٠Hunalika tabloo kullu nafsin maaslafat waruddoo ila Allahi mawlahumu alhaqqiwadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroon
There every soul will examine what it has sent in advance, and they will be returned to Allah, their real master, and what they used to fabricate will forsake them.Ali Quli Qarai
There, [on that Day], every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allāh, their master, the Truth, and lost from them is whatever they used to invent.Saheeh International

10:31
قُلْ م
َن ي َرْزُقُكُم م ِّنَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ أَمّ َن ي َمْلِكُٱ ل سَّمْعَ وَٱ لْأَبْ صَٰ رَ وَمَن ي ُخْرِجُٱ لْحَىَّ مِنَٱ لْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُٱ لْمَيِّتَ مِنَٱ لْحَىِّ وَمَن ي ُدَبِّرُٱ لْأَمْرَ ۚ فَسَيَقُولُونَٱ للَّهُ ۚ فَقُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُو نَ ٣١Qul man yarzuqukum mina assama-iwal-ardi amman yamliku assamAAa wal-absarawaman yukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti wayukhriju almayyitamina alhayyi waman yudabbiru al-amra fasayaqooloona Allahufaqul afala tattaqoon
Say, ‘Who provides for you out of the sky and the earth? Who controls [your] hearing and sight, and who brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living, and who directs the command?’ They will say, ‘Allah.’ Say, ‘Will you not then be wary [of Him]?’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?" They will say, "Allāh," so say, "Then will you not fear Him?"Saheeh International

10:32
فَذَ
ٰ لِكُمُٱ للَّهُ رَبُّكُمُٱ لْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَاذَا بَعْدَٱ لْحَقِّ إِلَّاٱ ل ضَّلَٰ لُ ۖ فَأَنّ َىٰ تُصْرَفُو نَ ٣٢Fathalikumu Allahu rabbukumualhaqqu famatha baAAda alhaqqi illa addalalufaanna tusrafoon
That, then, is Allah, your true Lord. So what is there after the truth except error? Then where are you being led away?Ali Quli Qarai
For that is Allāh, your Lord, the Truth. And what can be beyond truth except error? So how are you averted?Saheeh International
-
10:33
كَذَ
ٰ لِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَىٱ لَّذِينَ فَسَقُوٓ ا۟ أَنّ َهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُو نَ ٣٣Kathalika haqqat kalimaturabbika AAala allatheena fasaqoo annahum layu/minoon
Thus the word of your Lord became due against those who transgress, that they shall not have faith.Ali Quli Qarai
Thus the word [i.e., decree] of your Lord has come into effect upon those who defiantly disobeyed - that they will not believe.Saheeh International
-
10:34
قُلْ هَلْ مِ
ن ش ُرَكَا ٓئِكُم م َّن ي َبْ دَؤُا۟ ٱ لْخَلْقَ ثُمّ َ يُعِيدُهُۥ ۚ قُلِٱ للَّهُ يَبْ دَؤُا۟ ٱ لْخَلْقَ ثُمّ َ يُعِيدُهُۥ ۖ فَأَنّ َىٰ تُؤْفَكُو نَ ٣٤Qul hal min shuraka-ikum man yabdaoalkhalqa thumma yuAAeeduhu quli Allahu yabdao alkhalqathumma yuAAeeduhu faanna tu/fakoon
Say, ‘Is there anyone among your partners who originates the creation and then brings it back?’ Say, ‘Allah originates the creation, then He will bring it back.’ Then where do you stray?Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who begins creation and then repeats it?" Say, "Allāh begins creation and then repeats it, so how are you deluded?"Saheeh International

10:35
قُلْ هَلْ مِ
ن ش ُرَكَا ٓئِكُم م َّن ي َهْدِىٓ إِلَىٱ لْحَقِّ ۚ قُلِٱ للَّهُ يَهْدِى لِلْحَقِّ ۗ أَفَمَن ي َهْدِىٓ إِلَىٱ لْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن ي ُتَّبَعَ أَمّ َن ل َّا يَهِدِّىٓ إِلَّآ أَن ي ُهْدَىٰ ۖ فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُو نَ ٣٥Qul hal min shuraka-ikum man yahdeeila alhaqqi quli Allahu yahdee lilhaqqiafaman yahdee ila alhaqqi ahaqqu anyuttabaAAa amman la yahiddee illa an yuhdafama lakum kayfa tahkumoon
Say, ‘Is there anyone among your partners who may guide to the truth?’ Say, ‘Allah guides to the truth. Is He who guides to the truth worthier to be followed, or he who is not guided unless shown the way? What is the matter with you? How do you judge?’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Are there of your 'partners' any who guides to the truth?" Say, "Allāh guides to the truth. So is He who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed or he who guides not unless he is guided? Then what is [wrong] with you - how do you judge?"Saheeh International
-
10:36
وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلَّا ظَ
نّ ًا ۚ إِنّ َٱ ل ظَّنّ َ لَا يُغْنِى مِنَٱ لْحَقِّ شَئًْا ۚ إِنّ َٱ للَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ ب ِمَا يَفْعَلُو نَ ٣٦Wama yattabiAAu aktharuhum illathannan inna aththanna layughnee mina alhaqqi shay-an inna Allaha AAaleemunbima yafAAaloon
Most of them just follow conjecture; indeed conjecture is no substitute for the truth. Indeed Allah knows best what they do.Ali Quli Qarai
And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allāh is Knowing of what they do.Saheeh International
-
10:37
وَمَا كَانَ هَ
ٰ ذَاٱ لْقُرْءَانُ أَن ي ُفْتَرَىٰ مِن د ُونِٱ للَّهِ وَلَٰ كِن ت َصْدِيقَٱ لَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَٱ لْكِتَٰ بِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن ر َّبِّٱ لْعَٰ لَمِي نَ ٣٧Wama kana hatha alqur-anuan yuftara min dooni Allahi walakin tasdeeqaallathee bayna yadayhi watafseela alkitabi larayba feehi min rabbi alAAalameen
This Quran could not have been fabricated by anyone besides Allah; rather, it is a confirmation of what was [revealed] before it, and an elaboration of the Book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of all the worlds.Ali Quli Qarai
And it was not [possible] for this Qur’ān to be produced by other than Allāh, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.Saheeh International
-
10:38
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ
ٱ فْتَرَىٰ هُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِسُورَةٍ ۢم ِّثْلِهِۦ وَٱ دْ عُوا۟ مَنِٱ سْتَطَعْتُم م ِّن د ُونِٱ للَّهِ إِن ك ُنت ُمْ صَٰ دِقِي نَ ٣٨Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fa/toobisooratin mithlihi wadAAoo mani istataAAtum mindooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeen
Do they say, ‘He has fabricated it?’ Say, ‘Then bring a surah like it, and invoke whomever you can, besides Allah, should you be truthful.’Ali Quli Qarai
Or do they say [about the Prophet (ﷺ)], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a sūrah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allāh, if you should be truthful."Saheeh International

10:39
بَلْ كَذَّبُو
ا۟ بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُوا۟ بِعِلْمِهِۦ وَلَمّ َا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُۥ ۚ كَذَٰ لِكَ كَذَّبَٱ لَّذِينَ مِن ق َبْ لِهِمْ ۖ فَٱ نظ ُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰ قِبَةُٱ ل ظَّٰ لِمِي نَ ٣٩Bal kaththaboo bima lam yuheetoobiAAilmihi walamma ya/tihim ta/weeluhu kathalika kaththabaallatheena min qablihim fanthurkayfa kana AAaqibatu aththalimeen
Indeed, they deny something whose knowledge they do not comprehend, and whose explanation has not yet come to them. Those who were before them denied likewise. So observe how was the fate of the wrongdoers!Ali Quli Qarai
Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.Saheeh International

10:40
وَمِنْه
ُم م َّن ي ُؤْمِنُ بِهِۦ وَمِنْهُم م َّن ل َّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهِۦ ۚ وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱ لْمُفْسِدِي نَ ٤٠Waminhum man yu/minu bihi waminhum man layu/minu bihi warabbuka aAAlamu bilmufsideen
Some of them believe in it, and some of them do not believe in it, and your Lord best knows the agents of corruption.Ali Quli Qarai
And of them are those who believe in it, and of them are those who do not believe in it. And your Lord is most knowing of the corrupters.Saheeh International
-
10:41
وَإِ
ن ك َذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّى عَمَلِى وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ ۖ أَنت ُم ب َرِيٓ ُٔونَ مِمّ َآ أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَا۠ بَرِى ٓءٌ ۭم ِّمّ َا تَعْمَلُو نَ ٤١Wa-in kaththabooka faqul lee AAamaleewalakum AAamalukum antum baree-oona mimma aAAmalu waanabaree-on mimma taAAmaloon
If they deny you, say, ‘My deeds belong to me and your deeds belong to you: you are absolved of what I do and I am absolved of what you do.’Ali Quli Qarai
And if they deny you, [O Muḥammad], then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do."Saheeh International

10:42
وَمِنْه
ُم م َّن ي َسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنت َ تُسْمِعُٱ ل صُّمّ َ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَعْقِلُو نَ ٤٢Waminhum man yastamiAAoona ilayka afaantatusmiAAu assumma walaw kanoo layaAAqiloon
There are some of them who prick up their ears at you. But can you make the deaf hear even if they do not exercise their reason?Ali Quli Qarai
And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear [i.e., benefit from this hearing], although they will not use reason?Saheeh International
-
10:43
وَمِنْه
ُم م َّن ي َنظ ُرُ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنت َ تَهْدِىٱ لْعُمْىَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يُبْ صِرُو نَ ٤٣Waminhum man yanthuru ilaykaafaanta tahdee alAAumya walaw kanoo la yubsiroon
There are some of them who observe you. But can you guide the blind even if they do not perceive?Ali Quli Qarai
And among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind although they will not [attempt to] see?Saheeh International
-
10:44
إِ
نّ َٱ للَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُٱ ل نّ َاسَ شَئًْ ۭا و َلَٰ كِنّ َٱ ل نّ َاسَ أَنف ُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُو نَ ٤٤Inna Allaha la yathlimuannasa shay-an walakinna annasaanfusahum yathlimoon
Indeed Allah does not wrong people in the least; rather, it is people who wrong themselves.Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, Allāh does not wrong the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging themselves.Saheeh International
-
10:45
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأ
َن ل َّمْ يَلْبَثُوٓ ا۟ إِلَّا سَاعَةً ۭم ِّنَٱ ل نّ َهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرَٱ لَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَا ٓءِٱ للَّهِ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِي نَ ٤٥Wayawma yahshuruhum kaan lamyalbathoo illa saAAatan mina annahariyataAAarafoona baynahum qad khasira allatheena kaththaboobiliqa-i Allahi wama kanoo muhtadeen
On the day He will gather them [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] except for an hour of the day getting acquainted with one another. They are certainly losers who deny the encounter with Allah, and they are not guided.Ali Quli Qarai
And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allāh and were not guided.Saheeh International
-
10:46
وَإِ
مّ َا نُرِيَنّ َكَ بَعْضَٱ لَّذِى نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنّ َكَ فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمّ َٱ للَّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُو نَ ٤٦Wa-imma nuriyannaka baAAdaallathee naAAiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-ilaynamarjiAAuhum thumma Allahu shaheedun AAala mayafAAaloon
Whether We show you a part of what We promise them, or take you away [before that], [in any case] their return will be to Us and Allah will be witness to what they do.Ali Quli Qarai
And whether We show you some of what We promise them, [O Muḥammad], or We take you in death, to Us is their return; then, [either way], Allāh is a witness concerning what they are doing.Saheeh International

10:47
وَلِكُلِّ أُ
مّ َةٍ ۢر َّسُولٌ ۭۖ ف َإِذَا جَا ٓءَ رَسُولُهُمْ قُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم ب ِٱ لْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُو نَ ٤٧Walikulli ommatin rasoolun fa-itha jaarasooluhum qudiya baynahum bilqisti wahum layuthlamoon
There is an apostle for every nation; so when their apostle comes, judgement is made between them with justice, and they are not wronged.Ali Quli Qarai
And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged.Saheeh International

10:48
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَ
ٰ ذَاٱ لْوَعْدُ إِن ك ُنت ُمْ صَٰ دِقِي نَ ٤٨Wayaqooloona mata hathaalwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeen
They say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, should you be truthful?’Ali Quli Qarai
And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?"Saheeh International
-
10:49
قُل لّ
َآ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِى ضَرًّ ۭا و َلَا نَفْعًا إِلَّا مَا شَا ٓءَٱ للَّهُ ۗ لِكُلِّ أُمّ َةٍ أَجَلٌ ۚ إِذَا جَا ٓءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةً ۭۖ و َلَا يَسْتَقْ دِمُو نَ ٤٩Qul la amliku linafsee darranwala nafAAan illa ma shaa Allahulikulli ommatin ajalun itha jaa ajaluhum falayasta/khiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoon
Say, ‘I have no control over any benefit for myself nor [over] any harm except what Allah may wish. There is a time for every nation: when their time comes, they shall not defer it by a single hour nor shall they advance it.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allāh should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]."Saheeh International

10:50
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَتَى
ٰ كُمْ عَذَابُهُۥ بَيَٰ تًا أَوْ نَهَارً ۭا م َّاذَا يَسْتَعْجِلُ مِنْهُٱ لْمُجْ رِمُو نَ ٥٠Qul araaytum in atakum AAathabuhubayatan aw naharan matha yastaAAjilu minhualmujrimoon
Say, ‘Tell me, should His punishment overtake you by night or day, [you will not be able to avert it]; so what part of it do the guilty seek to hasten?’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Have you considered: if His punishment should come to you by night or by day - for which [aspect] of it would the criminals be impatient?"Saheeh International

10:51
أَثُ
مّ َ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ ءَامَنت ُم ب ِهِۦٓ ۚ ءَا ٓلَْٰٔ نَ وَقَدْ كُنت ُم ب ِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُو نَ ٥١Athumma itha ma waqaAAa amantumbihi al-ana waqad kuntum bihi tastaAAjiloon
‘What! Do you believe it when it has befallen? Now? While you would seek to hasten it [earlier]?!’Ali Quli Qarai
Then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? Now? And you were [once] for it impatient.Saheeh International

10:52
ثُ
مّ َ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَٱ لْخُلْدِ هَلْ تُجْ زَوْنَ إِلَّا بِمَا كُنت ُمْ تَكْسِبُو نَ ٥٢Thumma qeela lillatheena thalamoothooqoo AAathaba alkhuldi hal tujzawna illabima kuntum taksiboon
Then it will be said to those who were wrongdoers, ‘Taste the everlasting punishment. Shall you not be requited for what you used to earn?’Ali Quli Qarai
Then it will be said to those who had wronged, "Taste the punishment of eternity; are you being recompensed except for what you used to earn?"Saheeh International

10:53
۞ وَيَسْتَ
نۢب ُِٔونَكَ أَحَقٌّ هُوَ ۖ قُلْ إِى وَرَبِّىٓ إِنّ َهُۥ لَحَقٌّ ۭۖ و َمَآ أَنت ُم ب ِمُعْجِزِي نَ ٥٣Wayastanbi-oonaka ahaqqun huwa qul eewarabbee innahu lahaqqun wama antum bimuAAjizeen
They inquire of you, ‘Is it true?’ Say, ‘Yes! By my Lord, it is true, and you cannot frustrate [Him].’Ali Quli Qarai
And they ask information of you, [O Muḥammad], "Is it true?" Say, "Yes, by my Lord. Indeed, it is truth; and you will not cause failure [to Allāh]."Saheeh International

10:54
وَلَوْ أَ
نّ َ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ۢظ َلَمَتْ مَا فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ لَٱ فْتَدَتْ بِهِۦ ۗ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱ ل نّ َدَامَةَ لَمّ َا رَأَوُا۟ ٱ لْعَذَابَ ۖ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم ب ِٱ لْقِسْطِ ۚ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُو نَ ٥٤Walaw anna likulli nafsin thalamatma fee al-ardi laftadat bihi waasarroo annadamatalamma raawoo alAAathaba waqudiya baynahum bilqistiwahum la yuthlamoon
Were any soul that has done wrong to possess whatever there is on the earth, it would surely offer it for ransom. They will hide their remorse when they sight the punishment; and judgement will be made between them with justice and they will not be wronged.Ali Quli Qarai
And if each soul that wronged had everything on earth, it would offer it in ransom. And they will confide regret when they see the punishment; and they will be judged in justice, and they will not be wronged.Saheeh International

10:55
أَل
َآ إِنّ َ لِلَّهِ مَا فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنّ َ وَعْدَٱ للَّهِ حَقٌّ ۭو َلَٰ كِنّ َ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُو نَ ٥٥Ala inna lillahi ma feeassamawati wal-ardi alainna waAAda Allahi haqqun walakinnaaktharahum la yaAAlamoon
Look! To Allah indeed belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Look! Allah’s promise is indeed true; but most of them do not know.Ali Quli Qarai
Unquestionably, to Allāh belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allāh is truth, but most of them do not know.Saheeh International

10:56
هُوَ يُحْى
ِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُو نَ ٥٦Huwa yuhyee wayumeetu wa-ilayhiturjaAAoon
It is He who gives life and brings death, and to Him you shall be brought back.Ali Quli Qarai
He gives life and causes death, and to Him you will be returned.Saheeh International

10:57
يَ
ٰٓ أَيُّهَاٱ ل نّ َاسُ قَدْ جَا ٓءَتْكُم م َّوْعِظَةٌ ۭم ِّن ر َّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَا ٓءٌ ۭل ِّمَا فِىٱ ل صُّدُورِ وَهُدً ۭى و َرَحْمَةٌ ۭل ِّلْمُؤْمِنِي نَ ٥٧Ya ayyuha annasuqad jaatkum mawAAithatun min rabbikum washifaonlima fee assudoori wahudan warahmatunlilmu/mineen
O mankind! There has certainly come to you an advice from your Lord, and a cure for what is in the breasts, and a guidance and mercy for the faithful.Ali Quli Qarai
O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.Saheeh International

10:58
قُلْ بِفَضْلِ
ٱ للَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦ فَبِذَٰ لِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟ هُوَ خَيْرٌ ۭم ِّمّ َا يَجْ مَعُو نَ ٥٨Qul bifadli Allahi wabirahmatihifabithalika falyafrahoo huwa khayrun mimmayajmaAAoon
Say, ‘In Allah’s grace and His mercy—let them rejoice in that! It is better than what they amass.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "In the bounty of Allāh and in His mercy - in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate."Saheeh International

10:59
قُلْ أَرَءَيْت
ُم م َّآ أَنز َلَٱ للَّهُ لَكُم م ِّن ر ِّزْقٍ ۢف َجَعَلْتُم م ِّنْهُ حَرَامً ۭا و َحَلَٰ لً ۭاق ُلْ ءَآللَّهُ أَذِنَ لَكُمْ ۖ أَمْ عَلَىٱ للَّهِ تَفْتَرُو نَ ٥٩Qul araaytum ma anzala Allahulakum min rizqin fajaAAaltum minhu haraman wahalalanqul allahu athina lakum am AAala Allahitaftaroon
Say, ‘Have you regarded what Allah has sent down for you of [His] provision, whereupon you have made some of it unlawful and [some] lawful?’ Say, ‘Did Allah give you the sanction [to do so], or do you fabricate a lie against Allah?’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Have you seen what Allāh has sent down to you of provision of which you have made [some] lawful and [some] unlawful?" Say, "Has Allāh permitted you [to do so], or do you invent [something] about Allāh?"Saheeh International

10:60
وَمَا ظَ
نّ ُٱ لَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَىٱ للَّهِٱ لْكَذِبَ يَوْمَٱ لْقِيَٰ مَةِ ۗ إِنّ َٱ للَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَىٱ ل نّ َاسِ وَلَٰ كِنّ َ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُو نَ ٦٠Wama thannu allatheenayaftaroona AAala Allahi alkathiba yawmaalqiyamati inna Allaha lathoo fadlinAAala annasi walakinna aktharahum layashkuroon
What is the idea of those who fabricate lies against Allah [concerning their situation] on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed Allah is gracious to mankind, but most of them do not give thanks.Ali Quli Qarai
And what will be the supposition of those who invent falsehood about Allāh on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allāh is the possessor of bounty for the people, but most of them are not grateful.Saheeh International

10:61
وَمَا تَكُونُ فِى شَأْ
نٍ ۢو َمَا تَتْلُوا۟ مِنْهُ مِن ق ُرْءَانٍ ۢو َلَا تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلَّا كُنّ َا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُودًا إِذْ تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن ر َّبِّكَ مِن م ِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ ۢف ِىٱ لْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِىٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ وَلَآ أَصْغَرَ مِن ذ َٰ لِكَ وَلَآ أَكْبَرَ إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰ بٍ ۢم ُّبِي نٍ ٦١Wama takoonu fee sha/nin wamatatloo minhu min qur-anin wala taAAmaloona minAAamalin illa kunna AAalaykum shuhoodan ithtufeedoona feehi wama yaAAzubu AAan rabbika minmithqali tharratin fee al-ardi walafee assama-i wala asghara min thalikawala akbara illa fee kitabin mubeen
You do not engage in any work, neither do you recite any part of the Quran, nor do you perform any deed without Our being witness over you when you are engaged therein. Not an atom’s weight escapes your Lord in the earth or in the sky, nor [is there] anything smaller than that nor bigger, but it is in a manifest Book.Ali Quli Qarai
And, [O Muḥammad], you are not [engaged] in any matter and do not recite any of the Qur’ān and you [people] do not do any deed except that We are witness over you when you are involved in it. And not absent from your Lord is any [part] of an atom's weight within the earth or within the heaven or [anything] smaller than that or greater but that it is in a clear register.Saheeh International

10:62
أَل
َآ إِنّ َ أَوْلِيَا ٓءَٱ للَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُو نَ ٦٢Ala inna awliyaa Allahila khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoon
Look! The friends of Allah will indeed have no fear nor will they grieveAli Quli Qarai
Unquestionably, [for] the allies of Allāh there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve -Saheeh International
-
10:63
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُو
ا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ يَتَّقُو نَ ٦٣Allatheena amanoo wakanooyattaqoon
—those who have faith and are Godwary.Ali Quli Qarai
Those who believed and were fearing Allāh.Saheeh International
-
10:64
لَهُمُ
ٱ لْبُشْرَىٰ فِىٱ لْحَيَو ٰ ةِٱ ل دُّنْيَا وَفِىٱ لَْٔاخِرَةِ ۚ لَا تَبْ دِيلَ لِكَلِمَٰ تِٱ للَّهِ ۚ ذَٰ لِكَ هُوَٱ لْفَوْزُٱ لْعَظِي مُ ٦٤Lahumu albushra fee alhayatiaddunya wafee al-akhirati latabdeela likalimati Allahi thalika huwaalfawzu alAAatheem
For them is good news in the life of this world and in the Hereafter. (There is no altering the words of Allah.) That is the great success.Ali Quli Qarai
For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words [i.e., decrees] of Allāh. That is what is the great attainment.Saheeh International

10:65
وَلَا يَحْزُ
نك َ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنّ َٱ لْعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا ۚ هُوَٱ ل سَّمِيعُٱ لْعَلِي مُ ٦٥Wala yahzunka qawluhum innaalAAizzata lillahi jameeAAan huwa assameeAAualAAaleem
Do not grieve at their remarks; indeed all might belongs to Allah; He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.Ali Quli Qarai
And let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, honor [due to power] belongs to Allāh entirely. He is the Hearing, the Knowing.Saheeh International

10:66
أَل
َآ إِنّ َ لِلَّهِ مَن ف ِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَمَن ف ِىٱ لْأَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا يَتَّبِعُٱ لَّذِينَ يَدْ عُونَ مِن د ُونِٱ للَّهِ شُرَكَا ٓءَ ۚ إِن ي َتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّاٱ ل ظَّنّ َ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُو نَ ٦٦Ala inna lillahi man fee assamawatiwaman fee al-ardi wama yattabiAAu allatheenayadAAoona min dooni Allahi shurakaa inyattabiAAoona illa aththanna wa-inhum illa yakhrusoon
Look! To Allah indeed belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth. What do they pursue who invoke partners besides Allah? They merely follow conjectures and they just make surmises.Ali Quli Qarai
Unquestionably, to Allāh belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth. And those who invoke other than Allāh do not [actually] follow [His] "partners." They follow not except assumption, and they are not but misjudging.Saheeh International

10:67
هُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُٱ لَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱ ل نّ َهَارَ مُبْ صِرًا ۚ إِنّ َ فِى ذَٰ لِكَ لََٔايَٰ تٍ ۢل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي َسْمَعُو نَ ٦٧Huwa allathee jaAAala lakumu allaylalitaskunoo feehi wannahara mubsiran innafee thalika laayatin liqawmin yasmaAAoon
It is He who made the night for you, that you may rest in it, and the day to provide visibility. There are indeed signs in that for people who listen.Ali Quli Qarai
It is He who made for you the night to rest therein and the day, giving sight. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.Saheeh International

10:68
قَالُو
ا۟ ٱ تَّخَذَٱ للَّهُ وَلَدً ۭا ۗ س ُبْ حَٰ نَهُۥ ۖ هُوَٱ لْغَنِىُّ ۖ لَهُۥ مَا فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَمَا فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنْ عِند َكُم م ِّن س ُلْطَٰ نٍۭ ب ِهَٰ ذَآ ۚ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَىٱ للَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُو نَ ٦٨Qaloo ittakhatha Allahuwaladan subhanahu huwa alghaniyyu lahu ma fee assamawatiwama fee al-ardi in AAindakum min sultaninbihatha ataqooloona AAala Allahi ma lataAAlamoon
They say, ‘Allah has taken a son!’ Immaculate is He! He is the All-sufficient. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [statement]. Do you attribute to Allah what you do not know?Ali Quli Qarai
They have said, "Allāh has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about Allāh that which you do not know?Saheeh International

10:69
قُلْ إِ
نّ َٱ لَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَىٱ للَّهِٱ لْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُو نَ ٦٩Qul inna allatheena yaftaroona AAalaAllahi alkathiba la yuflihoon
Say, ‘Indeed those who fabricate lies against Allah will not be felicitous.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allāh will not succeed."Saheeh International

10:70
مَتَ
ٰ عٌ ۭف ِىٱ ل دُّنْيَا ثُمّ َ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمّ َ نُذِيقُهُمُٱ لْعَذَابَٱ ل شَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُو نَ ٧٠MataAAun fee addunyathumma ilayna marjiAAuhum thumma nutheequhumu alAAathabaashshadeeda bima kanoo yakfuroon
An enjoyment in this world; then to Us shall be their return, then We shall make them taste the severe punishment because of what they used to defy.Ali Quli Qarai
[For them is brief] enjoyment in this world; then to Us is their return; then We will make them taste the severe punishment because they used to disbelieve.Saheeh International

10:71
۞ وَ
ٱ تْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَٰ قَوْمِ إِن ك َانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم م َّقَامِى وَتَذْكِيرِى بَِٔايَٰ تِٱ للَّهِ فَعَلَىٱ للَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْ مِعُوٓ ا۟ أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَا ٓءَكُمْ ثُمّ َ لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمّ َةً ۭث ُمّ َٱ قْ ضُوٓ ا۟ إِلَىَّ وَلَا تُنظ ِرُو نِ ٧١Watlu AAalayhim nabaa noohinith qala liqawmihi ya qawmi in kanakabura AAalaykum maqamee watathkeeree bi-ayatiAllahi faAAala Allahi tawakkaltu faajmiAAooamrakum washurakaakum thumma la yakun amrukumAAalaykum ghummatan thumma iqdoo ilayya wala tunthiroon
Relate to them the account of Noah when he said to his people, ‘O my people! If my stay [among you] be hard on you and [also] my reminding you of Allah’s signs, [for my part] I have put my trust in Allah. So conspire together, along with your partners, leaving nothing vague in your plan, then carry it out against me without giving me any respite.Ali Quli Qarai
And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his people, "O my people, if my residence and my reminding of the signs of Allāh has become burdensome upon you - then I have relied upon Allāh. So resolve upon your plan and [call upon] your associates. Then let not your plan be obscure to you. Then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite.Saheeh International

10:72
فَإِ
ن ت َوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَأَلْتُكُم م ِّنْ أَجْ رٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْ رِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٱ للَّهِ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَٱ لْمُسْلِمِي نَ ٧٢Fa-in tawallaytum fama saaltukum minajrin in ajriya illa AAala Allahi waomirtuan akoona mina almuslimeen
If you turn your back [on me], I do not ask any reward from you; my reward lies only with Allah and I have been commanded to be of those who submit [to Allah].’Ali Quli Qarai
And if you turn away [from my advice] - then no payment have I asked of you. My reward is only from Allāh, and I have been commanded to be of the Muslims [i.e., those who submit to Allāh]."Saheeh International

10:73
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَ
ٰ هُ وَمَن م َّعَهُۥ فِىٱ لْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَٰ هُمْ خَلَٰٓ ئِفَ وَأَغْرَقْ نَاٱ لَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بَِٔايَٰ تِنَا ۖ فَٱ نظ ُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰ قِبَةُٱ لْمُنذ َرِي نَ ٧٣Fakaththaboohu fanajjaynahuwaman maAAahu fee alfulki wajaAAalnahum khala-ifawaaghraqna allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinafanthur kayfa kana AAaqibatualmunthareen
But they impugned him. So We delivered him and those who were with him in the ark and We made them the successors, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. So observe how was the fate of those who were warned!Ali Quli Qarai
And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Then see how was the end of those who were warned.Saheeh International

10:74
ثُ
مّ َ بَعَثْنَا مِنۢ ب َعْدِهِۦ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَا ٓءُوهُم ب ِٱ لْبَيِّنَٰ تِ فَمَا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِمَا كَذَّبُوا۟ بِهِۦ مِن ق َبْ لُ ۚ كَذَٰ لِكَ نَطْ بَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِٱ لْمُعْتَدِي نَ ٧٤Thumma baAAathna min baAAdihi rusulanila qawmihim fajaoohum bilbayyinatifama kanoo liyu/minoo bima kaththaboobihi min qablu kathalika natbaAAu AAalaquloobi almuAAtadeen
Then after him We sent [other] apostles to their people. They brought them manifest proofs, but they would not believe something they had denied before. Thus do We seal the hearts of the transgressors.Ali Quli Qarai
Then We sent after him messengers to their peoples, and they came to them with clear proofs. But they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus We seal over the hearts of the transgressors.Saheeh International

10:75
ثُ
مّ َ بَعَثْنَا مِنۢ ب َعْدِهِم م ُّوسَىٰ وَهَٰ رُونَ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟ هِۦ بَِٔايَٰ تِنَا فَٱ سْتَكْبَرُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمً ۭا م ُّجْ رِمِي نَ ٧٥Thumma baAAathna min baAAdihim moosawaharoona ila firAAawna wamala-ihi bi-ayatinafastakbaroo wakanoo qawman mujrimeen
Then, after them, We sent Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his elite with Our signs, but they acted arrogantly and they were a guilty lot.Ali Quli Qarai
Then We sent after them Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his establishment with Our signs, but they behaved arrogantly and were a criminal people.Saheeh International

10:76
فَلَ
مّ َا جَا ٓءَهُمُٱ لْحَقُّ مِنْ عِند ِنَا قَالُوٓ ا۟ إِنّ َ هَٰ ذَا لَسِحْرٌ ۭم ُّبِي نٌۭ ٧٦Falamma jaahumu alhaqqumin AAindina qaloo inna hatha lasihrunmubeen
When the truth from Us came to them, they said, ‘This is indeed plain magic!’Ali Quli Qarai
So when there came to them the truth from Us, they said, "Indeed, this is obvious magic."Saheeh International

10:77
قَالَ مُوسَ
ىٰٓ أَتَقُولُونَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمّ َا جَا ٓءَكُمْ ۖ أَسِحْرٌ هَٰ ذَا وَلَا يُفْلِحُٱ ل سَّٰ حِرُو نَ ٧٧Qala moosa ataqooloona lilhaqqilamma jaakum asihrun hatha walayuflihu assahiroon
Moses said, ‘Do you say of the truth when it comes to you [that it is magic]? Is this magic? Magicians do not find salvation.’Ali Quli Qarai
Moses said, "Do you say [thus] about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But magicians will not succeed."Saheeh International

10:78
قَال
ُوٓ ا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمّ َا وَجَدْ نَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَا ٓءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَاٱ لْكِبْ رِيَا ٓءُ فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِي نَ ٧٨Qaloo aji/tana litalfitanaAAamma wajadna AAalayhi abaanawatakoona lakuma alkibriyao fee al-ardi wamanahnu lakuma bimu/mineen
They said, ‘Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers following, so that supremacy may be yours in the land? We will not believe in the two of you.’Ali Quli Qarai
They said, "Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you two may have grandeur in the land? And we are not believers in you."Saheeh International

10:79
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ
ٱ ئْتُونِى بِكُلِّ سَٰ حِرٍ عَلِي مٍۢ ٧٩Waqala firAAawnu i/toonee bikulli sahirinAAaleem
Pharaoh said, ‘Bring me every expert magician.’Ali Quli Qarai
And Pharaoh said, "Bring to me every learned magician."Saheeh International

10:80
فَلَ
مّ َا جَا ٓءَٱ ل سَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم م ُّوسَىٰٓ أَلْقُوا۟ مَآ أَنت ُم م ُّلْقُو نَ ٨٠Falamma jaa assaharatuqala lahum moosa alqoo ma antum mulqoon
So when the magicians came, Moses said to them, ‘Throw down what you have to throw.’Ali Quli Qarai
So when the magicians came, Moses said to them, "Throw down whatever you will throw."Saheeh International

10:81
فَلَ
مّ َآ أَلْقَوْا۟ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُم ب ِهِٱ ل سِّحْرُ ۖ إِنّ َٱ للَّهَ سَيُبْ طِلُهُۥٓ ۖ إِنّ َٱ للَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَٱ لْمُفْسِدِي نَ ٨١Falamma alqaw qala moosama ji/tum bihi assihru inna Allahasayubtiluhu inna Allaha la yuslihuAAamala almufsideen
So when they threw down [their sticks and ropes], Moses said, ‘What you have produced is magic. Indeed Allah will bring it to naught presently. Indeed Allah does not foster the efforts of those who cause corruption.Ali Quli Qarai
And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allāh will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allāh does not amend the work of corrupters.Saheeh International

10:82
وَيُحِقُّ
ٱ للَّهُٱ لْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰ تِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَٱ لْمُجْ رِمُو نَ ٨٢Wayuhiqqu Allahu alhaqqabikalimatihi walaw kariha almujrimoon
Allah will confirm the truth with His words, though the guilty should be averse.’Ali Quli Qarai
And Allāh will establish the truth by His words, even if the criminals dislike it."Saheeh International

10:83
فَم
َآ ءَامَنَ لِمُوسَىٰٓ إِلَّا ذُرِّيَّةٌ ۭم ِّن ق َوْمِهِۦ عَلَىٰ خَوْفٍ ۢم ِّن ف ِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟ هِمْ أَن ي َفْتِنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنّ َ فِرْعَوْنَ لَعَالٍ ۢف ِىٱ لْأَرْضِ وَإِنّ َهُۥ لَمِنَٱ لْمُسْرِفِي نَ ٨٣Fama amana limoosa illathurriyyatun min qawmihi AAala khawfin minfirAAawna wamala-ihim an yaftinahum wa-inna firAAawna laAAalinfee al-ardi wa-innahu lamina almusrifeen
But none believed in Moses except some youths from among his people, for the fear of Pharaoh and his elite that he would persecute them. For Pharaoh was indeed a tyrant in the land, and indeed he was an unrestrained [despot].Ali Quli Qarai
But no one believed Moses, except [some] offspring [i.e., youths] among his people, for fear of Pharaoh and his establishment that they would persecute them. And indeed, Pharaoh was haughty within the land, and indeed, he was of the transgressors.Saheeh International

10:84
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ يَ
ٰ قَوْمِ إِن ك ُنت ُمْ ءَامَنت ُم ب ِٱ للَّهِ فَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلُوٓ ا۟ إِن ك ُنت ُم م ُّسْلِمِي نَ ٨٤Waqala moosa ya qawmiin kuntum amantum billahi faAAalayhitawakkaloo in kuntum muslimeen
And Moses said, ‘O my people! If you have faith in Allah, put your trust in Him, if you have submitted [to Him].’Ali Quli Qarai
And Moses said, "O my people, if you have believed in Allāh, then rely upon Him, if you should be Muslims [i.e., submitting to Him]."Saheeh International

10:85
فَقَالُو
ا۟ عَلَىٱ للَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْ عَلْنَا فِتْنَةً ۭل ِّلْقَوْمِٱ ل ظَّٰ لِمِي نَ ٨٥Faqaloo AAala Allahitawakkalna rabbana la tajAAalnafitnatan lilqawmi aththalimeen
Whereat they said, ‘In Allah we have put our trust.’ ‘Our Lord! Do not make us a [means of] test for the wrongdoing lot,Ali Quli Qarai
So they said, "Upon Allāh do we rely. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing peopleSaheeh International
-
10:86
وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ
ٱ لْقَوْمِٱ لْكَٰ فِرِي نَ ٨٦Wanajjina birahmatika minaalqawmi alkafireen
and deliver us by Your mercy from the faithless lot.’Ali Quli Qarai
And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people."Saheeh International

10:87
وَأَوْحَيْن
َآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَأَخِيهِ أَن ت َبَوَّءَا لِقَوْمِكُمَا بِمِصْرَ بُيُوتً ۭا و َٱ جْ عَلُوا۟ بُيُوتَكُمْ قِبْ لَةً ۭو َأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱ ل صَّلَو ٰ ةَ ۗ وَبَشِّرِٱ لْمُؤْمِنِي نَ ٨٧Waawhayna ila moosawaakheehi an tabawwaa liqawmikuma bimisrabuyootan wajAAaloo buyootakum qiblatan waaqeemoo assalatawabashshiri almu/mineen
We revealed to Moses and his brother [saying], ‘Settle your people in the city, and let your houses face each other, and maintain the prayer, and give good news to the faithful.’Ali Quli Qarai
And We inspired to Moses and his brother, "Settle your people in Egypt in houses and make your houses [facing the] qiblah and establish prayer and give good tidings to the believers."Saheeh International

10:88
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبَّن
َآ إِنّ َكَ ءَاتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُۥ زِينَةً ۭو َأَمْوَٰ لً ۭاف ِىٱ لْحَيَو ٰ ةِٱ ل دُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا۟ عَن س َبِيلِكَ ۖ رَبَّنَاٱ طْ مِسْ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْوَٰ لِهِمْ وَٱ شْدُدْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا۟ ٱ لْعَذَابَٱ لْأَلِي مَ ٨٨Waqala moosa rabbanainnaka atayta firAAawna wamalaahu zeenatan waamwalanfee alhayati addunya rabbanaliyudilloo AAan sabeelika rabbana itmis AAalaamwalihim washdud AAala quloobihim falayu/minoo hatta yarawoo alAAathaba al-aleem
Moses said, ‘Our Lord! You have given Pharaoh and his elite glamour and wealth in the life of this world, our Lord, that they may lead [people] astray from Your way! Our Lord! Blot out their wealth and harden their hearts so that they do not believe until they sight the painful punishment.’Ali Quli Qarai
And Moses said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life, our Lord, that they may lead [men] astray from Your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment."Saheeh International

10:89
قَالَ قَ
دْ أُجِيبَت دَّعْوَتُكُمَا فَٱ سْتَقِيمَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعَا ٓنّ ِ سَبِيلَٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُو نَ ٨٩Qala qad ojeebat daAAwatukumafastaqeema wala tattabiAAannisabeela allatheena la yaAAlamoon
Said He, ‘Your supplication has already been granted. So be steadfast, and do not follow the way of those who do not know.’Ali Quli Qarai
[Allāh] said, "Your supplication has been answered." So remain on a right course and follow not the way of those who do not know."Saheeh International

10:90
۞ وَجَ
ٰ وَزْنَا بِبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰ ٓءِيلَٱ لْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ بَغْيً ۭا و َعَدْ وًا ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَدْ رَكَهُٱ لْغَرَقُ قَالَ ءَامَنت ُ أَنّ َهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰ هَ إِلَّاٱ لَّذِىٓ ءَامَنَتْ بِهِۦ بَنُوٓ ا۟ إِسْرَٰ ٓءِيلَ وَأَنَا۠ مِنَٱ لْمُسْلِمِي نَ ٩٠Wajawazna bibanee isra-eelaalbahra faatbaAAahum firAAawnu wajunooduhu baghyanwaAAadwan hatta itha adrakahu algharaqu qalaamantu annahu la ilaha illa allatheeamanat bihi banoo isra-eela waana minaalmuslimeen
We carried the Children of Israel across the sea, whereat Pharaoh and his troops pursued them, out of defiance and aggression. When overtaken by drowning, he called out, ‘I believe that there is no god except Him in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of those who submit [to Him]!’Ali Quli Qarai
And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims."Saheeh International

10:91
ءَ
آ لَْٰٔ نَ وَقَدْ عَصَيْتَ قَبْ لُ وَكُنت َ مِنَٱ لْمُفْسِدِي نَ ٩١Al-ana waqad AAasaytaqablu wakunta mina almufsideen
[He was told,] ‘What! Now? When you have been disobedient heretofore and were among the agents of corruption?!Ali Quli Qarai
Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters?Saheeh International
-
10:92
فَ
ٱ لْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ ءَايَةً ۭۚ و َإِنّ َ كَثِيرً ۭا م ِّنَٱ ل نّ َاسِ عَنْ ءَايَٰ تِنَا لَغَٰ فِلُو نَ ٩٢Falyawma nunajjeeka bibadanikalitakoona liman khalfaka ayatan wa-inna katheeran mina annasiAAan ayatina laghafiloon
So today We shall deliver your body so that you may be a sign for those who come after you.’ Indeed many of the people are oblivious to Our signs.Ali Quli Qarai
So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless.Saheeh International

10:93
وَلَقَ
دْ بَوَّأْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰ ٓءِيلَ مُبَوَّأَ صِدْ قٍ ۢو َرَزَقْ نَٰ هُم م ِّنَٱ ل طَّيِّبَٰ تِ فَمَاٱ خْتَلَفُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ جَا ٓءَهُمُٱ لْعِلْمُ ۚ إِنّ َ رَبَّكَ يَقْ ضِى بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَٱ لْقِيَٰ مَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُو نَ ٩٣Walaqad bawwa/na banee isra-eelamubawwaa sidqin warazaqnahum mina attayyibatifama ikhtalafoo hatta jaahumualAAilmu inna rabbaka yaqdee baynahum yawma alqiyamatifeema kanoo feehi yakhtalifoon
Certainly We settled the Children of Israel in a worthy settlement and We provided them with all the good things, and they did not differ until [after] the knowledge had come to them. Your Lord will indeed judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that about which they used to differ.Ali Quli Qarai
And We had certainly settled the Children of Israel in an agreeable settlement and provided them with good things. And they did not differ until [after] knowledge had come to them. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.Saheeh International
-
10:94
فَإِ
ن ك ُنت َ فِى شَكٍّ ۢم ِّمّ َآ أَنز َلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ فَسَْٔلِٱ لَّذِينَ يَقْ رَءُونَٱ لْكِتَٰ بَ مِن ق َبْ لِكَ ۚ لَقَدْ جَا ٓءَكَٱ لْحَقُّ مِن ر َّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُونَنّ َ مِنَٱ لْمُمْتَرِي نَ ٩٤Fa-in kunta fee shakkin mimma anzalnnailayka fas-ali allatheena yaqraoona alkitabamin qablika laqad jaaka alhaqqu min rabbika falatakoonanna mina almumtareen
So if you are in doubt about what We have sent down to you, ask those who read the Book [revealed] before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord; so do not be among the skeptics.Ali Quli Qarai
So if you are in doubt, [O Muḥammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.Saheeh International

10:95
وَلَا تَكُونَ
نّ َ مِنَٱ لَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بَِٔايَٰ تِٱ للَّهِ فَتَكُونَ مِنَٱ لْخَٰ سِرِي نَ ٩٥Wala takoonanna mina allatheenakaththaboo bi-ayati Allahi fatakoonamina alkhasireen
And do not be of those who deny the signs of Allah, [for] then you shall be among the losers.Ali Quli Qarai
And never be of those who deny the signs of Allāh and [thus] be among the losers.Saheeh International
-
10:96
إِ
نّ َٱ لَّذِينَ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِمْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُو نَ ٩٦Inna allatheena haqqatAAalayhim kalimatu rabbika la yu/minoon
Indeed those against whom your Lord’s judgement has become due will not have faith,Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, those upon whom the word [i.e., decree] of your Lord has come into effect will not believe,Saheeh International
-
10:97
وَلَوْ ج
َا ٓءَتْهُمْ كُلُّ ءَايَةٍ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا۟ ٱ لْعَذَابَٱ لْأَلِي مَ ٩٧Walaw jaat-hum kullu ayatin hattayarawoo alAAathaba al-aleem
even though every sign were to come to them, until they sight the painful punishment.Ali Quli Qarai
Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful punishment.Saheeh International
-
10:98
فَلَوْلَا كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ ءَامَنَتْ فَنَفَعَه
َآ إِيمَٰ نُهَآ إِلَّا قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمّ َآ ءَامَنُوا۟ كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَٱ لْخِزْىِ فِىٱ لْحَيَو ٰ ةِٱ ل دُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنَٰ هُمْ إِلَىٰ حِي نٍۢ ٩٨Falawla kanat qaryatun amanatfanafaAAaha eemanuha illa qawmayoonusa lamma amanoo kashafna AAanhum AAathabaalkhizyi fee alhayati addunyawamattaAAnahum ila heen
Why has there not been any town that might believe, so that its belief might benefit it, except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in the life of this world, and We provided for them for a while.Ali Quli Qarai
Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment [i.e., provision] for a time.Saheeh International

10:99
وَلَوْ ش
َا ٓءَ رَبُّكَ لََٔامَنَ مَن ف ِىٱ لْأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا ۚ أَفَأَنت َ تُكْرِهُٱ ل نّ َاسَ حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِي نَ ٩٩Walaw shaa rabbuka laamana manfee al-ardi kulluhum jameeAAan afaanta tukrihu annasahatta yakoonoo mu/mineen
Had your Lord wished, all those who are on earth would have believed. Would you then force people until they become faithful?Ali Quli Qarai
And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them entirely. Then, [O Muḥammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers?Saheeh International
-
10:100
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَ
ن ت ُؤْمِنَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِٱ للَّهِ ۚ وَيَجْ عَلُٱ ل رِّجْ سَ عَلَىٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُو نَ ١٠٠Wama kana linafsin an tu/minailla bi-ithni Allahi wayajAAalu arrijsaAAala allatheena la yaAAqiloon
No soul may have faith except by Allah’s leave, and He lays defilement on those who do not exercise their reason.Ali Quli Qarai
And it is not for a soul [i.e., anyone] to believe except by permission of Allāh, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason.Saheeh International

10:101
قُلِ
ٱ نظ ُرُوا۟ مَاذَا فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَا تُغْنِىٱ لَْٔايَٰ تُ وَٱ ل نّ ُذُرُ عَن ق َوْمٍ ۢل َّا يُؤْمِنُو نَ ١٠١Quli onthuroo mathafee assamawati wal-ardi wamatughnee al-ayatu wannuthuru AAanqawmin la yu/minoon
Say, ‘Observe what is in the heavens and the earth.’ But neither signs nor warnings avail a people who have no faith.Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Observe what is in the heavens and the earth." But of no avail will be signs or warners to a people who do not believe.Saheeh International
-
10:102
فَهَلْ يَ
نت َظِرُونَ إِلَّا مِثْلَ أَيَّامِٱ لَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن ق َبْ لِهِمْ ۚ قُلْ فَٱ نت َظِرُوٓ ا۟ إِنّ ِى مَعَكُم م ِّنَٱ لْمُنت َظِرِي نَ ١٠٢Fahal yantathiroona illamithla ayyami allatheena khalaw min qablihim qul fantathirooinnee maAAakum mina almuntathireen
Do they await anything except the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say, ‘Then wait! I too am waiting along with you.’Ali Quli Qarai
So do they wait except for like [what occurred in] the days of those who passed on before them? Say, "Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."Saheeh International

10:103
ثُ
مّ َ نُنَجِّى رُسُلَنَا وَٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۚ كَذَٰ لِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نُنج ِٱ لْمُؤْمِنِي نَ ١٠٣Thumma nunajjee rusulana wallatheenaamanoo kathalika haqqan AAalaynanunjee almu/mineen
Then We shall deliver Our apostles and those who have faith. Thus, it is a must for Us to deliver the faithful.Ali Quli Qarai
Then We will save Our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers.Saheeh International

10:104
قُلْ يَ
ٰٓ أَيُّهَاٱ ل نّ َاسُ إِن ك ُنت ُمْ فِى شَكٍّ ۢم ِّن د ِينِى فَلَآ أَعْبُدُٱ لَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن د ُونِٱ للَّهِ وَلَٰ كِنْ أَعْبُدُٱ للَّهَٱ لَّذِى يَتَوَفَّىٰ كُمْ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَٱ لْمُؤْمِنِي نَ ١٠٤Qul ya ayyuha annasuin kuntum fee shakkin min deenee fala aAAbudu allatheenataAAbudoona min dooni Allahi walakin aAAbudu Allahaallathee yatawaffakum waomirtu an akoona minaalmu/mineen
Say, ‘O people! if you are in doubt about my religion, then [know that] I do not worship those whom you worship besides Allah. Rather, I worship only Allah, who causes you to die, and I have been commanded to be among the faithful,Ali Quli Qarai
Say, [O Muḥammad], "O people, if you are in doubt as to my religion - then I do not worship those which you worship besides Allāh; but I worship Allāh, who causes your death. And I have been commanded to be of the believersSaheeh International
-
10:105
وَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَ
جْ هَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفً ۭا و َلَا تَكُونَنّ َ مِنَٱ لْمُشْرِكِي نَ ١٠٥Waan aqim wajhaka liddeeni haneefanwala takoonanna mina almushrikeen
and that: ‘‘Dedicate yourself to the religion, as a Hanif, and never be one of the polytheists.Ali Quli Qarai
And [commanded], 'Direct your face [i.e., self] toward the religion, inclining to truth, and never be of those who associate others with Allāh;Saheeh International
-
10:106
وَلَا تَ
دْ عُ مِن د ُونِٱ للَّهِ مَا لَا يَنف َعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ ۖ فَإِن ف َعَلْتَ فَإِنّ َكَ إِذً ۭا م ِّنَٱ ل ظَّٰ لِمِي نَ ١٠٦Wala tadAAu min dooni Allahima la yanfaAAuka wala yadurruka fa-infaAAalta fa-innaka ithan mina aththalimeen
Nor invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor can do you any harm. For if you do so, then you will indeed be among the wrongdoers.’’ ’Ali Quli Qarai
And do not invoke besides Allāh that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you did, then indeed you would be of the wrongdoers.'"Saheeh International

10:107
وَإ
ِن ي َمْسَسْكَٱ للَّهُ بِضُرٍّ ۢف َلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن ي ُرِدْ كَ بِخَيْرٍ ۢف َلَا رَا ٓدَّ لِفَضْلِهِۦ ۚ يُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن ي َشَا ٓءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَٱ لْغَفُورُٱ ل رَّحِي مُ ١٠٧Wa-in yamsaska Allahu bidurrinfala kashifa lahu illa huwa wa-in yuridkabikhayrin fala radda lifadlihi yuseebubihi man yashao min AAibadihi wahuwa alghafooru arraheem
Should Allah visit you with some distress, there is no one to remove it except Him; and should He desire any good for you, none can stand in the way of His grace: He grants it to whomever He wishes of His servants, and He is the All-forgiving, the All-merciful.Ali Quli Qarai
And if Allāh should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.Saheeh International

10:108
قُلْ يَ
ٰٓ أَيُّهَاٱ ل نّ َاسُ قَدْ جَا ٓءَكُمُٱ لْحَقُّ مِن ر َّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنِٱ هْتَدَىٰ فَإِنّ َمَا يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن ض َلَّ فَإِنّ َمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا ۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيْكُم ب ِوَكِي لٍۢ ١٠٨Qul ya ayyuha annasuqad jaakumu alhaqqu min rabbikum famani ihtadafa-innama yahtadee linafsihi waman dalla fa-innamayadillu AAalayha wama ana AAalaykumbiwakeel
Say, ‘O mankind! The truth has already come to you from your Lord. Whoever is guided, is guided only for [the good of] his own soul, and whoever goes astray, goes astray only to its detriment, and it is not my business to watch over you.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray [in violation] against it. And I am not over you a manager."Saheeh International

10:109
وَ
ٱ تَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَٱ صْبِرْ حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَٱ للَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُٱ لْحَٰ كِمِي نَ ١٠٩WattabiAA ma yoohailayka wasbir hatta yahkumaAllahu wahuwa khayru alhakimeen
And follow that which is revealed to you, and be patient until Allah issues [His] judgement, and He is the best of judges.Ali Quli Qarai
And follow what is revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], and be patient until Allāh will judge. And He is the best of judges.Saheeh International
