بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 101:1

   ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ۝١

   QaraiThe Catastrophe!

2. 101:2

   مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ۝٢

   QaraiWhat is the Catastrophe?

3. 101:3

   وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ۝٣

   QaraiWhat will show you what is the Catastrophe?

4. 101:4

   يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ ۝٤

   Qarai[It is] the day when mankind will be like scattered moths

5. 101:5

   وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ ۝٥

   Qaraiand the mountains like carded wool.

6. 101:6

   فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ۝٦

   QaraiAs for him, whose deeds weigh heavy in the scales,

7. 101:7

   فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ۝٧

   Qaraihe will have a pleasing life.

8. 101:8

   وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ۝٨

   QaraiBut as for him, whose deeds weigh light in the scales,

9. 101:9

   فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ ۝٩

   Qaraihis home will be the Abyss.

10. 101:10

    وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ ۝١٠

    QaraiAnd what will show you what it is?

11. 101:11

    نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ ۝١١

    QaraiIt is a scorching fire!
