Surah 102 of 114

التكاثر

At-Takathur · The Rivalry in world increase

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 102:1

   أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ ۝١

   QaraiRivalry [and vainglory] distracted you

2. 102:2

   حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ ۝٢

   Qaraiuntil you visited [even] the graves.

3. 102:3

   كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۝٣

   QaraiNo indeed, soon you will know!

4. 102:4

   ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۝٤

   QaraiNo indeed, soon you will know for yet another time!

5. 102:5

   كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ۝٥

   QaraiIndeed, were you to know with certain knowledge,

6. 102:6

   لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ ۝٦

   Qaraiyou would have surely seen hell [in this very life].

7. 102:7

   ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ۝٧

   QaraiAfterward you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.

8. 102:8

   ثُمَّ لَتُسَْٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ۝٨

   QaraiThen, on that day, you will surely be questioned concerning the Blessing.
