بِسْمِ
-
104:1
وَيْ
لٌ ۭل ِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ ۢل ُّمَزَةٍ ١Waylun likulli humazatin lumaza
Woe to every scandal-monger and slanderer,Ali Quli Qarai
Woe to every scorner and mockerSaheeh International
-
104:2
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَال
ً ۭاو َعَدَّدَهُۥ ٢Allathee jamaAAa malanwaAAaddadah
who amasses wealth and counts it over.Ali Quli Qarai
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.Saheeh International
-
104:3
يَحْسَبُ أَ
نّ َ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ٣Yahsabu anna malahu akhladah
He supposes his wealth will make him immortal!Ali Quli Qarai
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.Saheeh International

104:4
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُ
نۢب َذَنّ َ فِىٱ لْحُطَمَةِ ٤Kalla layunbathanna fee alhutama
No indeed! He will surely be cast into the Crusher.Ali Quli Qarai
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.Saheeh International

وَم
َآ أَدْ رَىٰ كَ مَاٱ لْحُطَمَةُ ٥Wama adraka ma alhutama
And what will show you what is the Crusher?Ali Quli Qarai
And what can make you know what is the Crusher?Saheeh International

104:6
نَارُ
ٱ للَّهِٱ لْمُوقَدَةُ ٦Naru Allahi almooqada
[It is] the fire of Allah, set ablaze,Ali Quli Qarai
It is the fire of Allāh, [eternally] fueled,Saheeh International
-
104:7
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى
ٱ لْأَفِْٔدَةِ ٧Allatee tattaliAAu AAalaal-af-ida
which will overspread the hearts.Ali Quli Qarai
Which mounts directed at the hearts.Saheeh International

104:8
إِ
نّ َهَا عَلَيْهِم م ُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ ٨lnnaha AAalayhim mu/sada
Indeed it will close in upon themAli Quli Qarai
Indeed, it [i.e., Hellfire] will be closed down upon themSaheeh International

104:9
فِى عَمَ
دٍ ۢم ُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ ٩Fee AAamadin mumaddada
in outstretched columns.Ali Quli Qarai
