بِسْمِ
-
105:1
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَ
ٰ بِٱ لْفِي لِ ١Alam tara kayfa faAAala rabbuka bi-as-habialfeel
Have you not regarded how your Lord dealt with the army of the elephants?Ali Quli Qarai
Have you not considered, [O Muḥammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?Saheeh International

105:2
أَلَمْ يَ
جْ عَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِي لٍۢ ٢Alam yajAAal kaydahum fee tadleel
Did He not make their stratagems go awry,Ali Quli Qarai
Did He not make their plan into misguidance?Saheeh International

105:3
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَاب
ِي لَ ٣Waarsala AAalayhim tayran ababeel
and send against them flocks of birdsAli Quli Qarai
And He sent against them birds in flocks,Saheeh International

105:4
تَرْمِيه
ِم ب ِحِجَارَةٍ ۢم ِّن س ِجِّي لٍۢ ٤Tarmeehim bihijaratin minsijjeel
pelting them with stones of shale,Ali Quli Qarai
Striking them with stones of hard clay,Saheeh International
-
105:5
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْ
فٍ ۢم َّأْكُو لٍۭ ٥FajaAAalahum kaAAasfin ma/kool
thus making them like chewed-up straw?Ali Quli Qarai
And He made them like eaten straw.Saheeh International
