بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 104:1

   وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ ۝١

   QaraiWoe to every scandal-monger and slanderer,

2. 104:2

   ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ۝٢

   Qaraiwho amasses wealth and counts it over.

3. 104:3

   يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ۝٣

   QaraiHe supposes his wealth will make him immortal!

4. 104:4

   كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ ۝٤

   QaraiNo indeed! He will surely be cast into the Crusher.

5. 104:5

   وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ ۝٥

   QaraiAnd what will show you what is the Crusher?

6. 104:6

   نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ۝٦

   Qarai[It is] the fire of Allah, set ablaze,

7. 104:7

   ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفِْٔدَةِ ۝٧

   Qaraiwhich will overspread the hearts.

8. 104:8

   إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ ۝٨

   QaraiIndeed it will close in upon them

9. 104:9

   فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ ۝٩

   Qaraiin outstretched columns.
