بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. 19:1

    كٓهيعٓصٓ ۝١

    [This is] an account of your Lord’s mercy on His servant, Zechariah,Ali Quli Qarai

    إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ نِدَآءً خَفِيًّۭا ۝٣

  4. 19:4

    قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَهَنَ ٱلْعَظْمُ مِنِّى وَٱشْتَعَلَ ٱلرَّأْسُ شَيْبًۭا وَلَمْ أَكُنۢ بِدُعَآئِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّۭا ۝٤

    He said, ‘My Lord! Indeed my bones have become feeble, and my head has turned white with age, yet never have I, my Lord, been disappointed in supplicating You!Ali Quli Qarai

    وَإِنِّى خِفْتُ ٱلْمَوَٰلِىَ مِن وَرَآءِى وَكَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِى عَاقِرًۭا فَهَبْ لِى مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّۭا ۝٥

    Indeed I fear my kinsmen, after me, and my wife is barren. So grant me from Yourself an heirAli Quli Qarai

  6. 19:6

    يَرِثُنِى وَيَرِثُ مِنْ ءَالِ يَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَٱجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّۭا ۝٦

    who may inherit from me and inherit from the House of Jacob, and make him, my Lord, pleasing [to You]!’Ali Quli Qarai

  7. 19:7

    يَٰزَكَرِيَّآ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ ٱسْمُهُۥ يَحْيَىٰ لَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ سَمِيًّۭا ۝٧

    ‘O Zechariah! Indeed We give you the good news of a son, whose name is ‘‘John.’’ Never before have We made anyone his namesake.’Ali Quli Qarai

    قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى غُلَٰمٌۭ وَكَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِى عَاقِرًۭا وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ ٱلْكِبَرِ عِتِيًّۭا ۝٨

    He said, ‘My Lord! How shall I have a son, when my wife is barren, and I am already advanced in age?’Ali Quli Qarai

  9. 19:9

    قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌۭ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَئًْۭا ۝٩

    He said, ‘So shall it be. Your Lord has said, ‘‘It is simple for Me.’’ Certainly I created you before when you were nothing.’Ali Quli Qarai

    قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجْعَل لِّىٓ ءَايَةًۭ ۚ قَالَ ءَايَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ ٱلنَّاسَ ثَلَٰثَ لَيَالٍۢ سَوِيًّۭا ۝١٠

    He said, ‘My Lord! Appoint a sign for me.’ He said, ‘Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three complete nights.’Ali Quli Qarai

    فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْمِحْرَابِ فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِمْ أَن سَبِّحُوا۟ بُكْرَةًۭ وَعَشِيًّۭا ۝١١

    So he emerged before his people from the Temple, and signalled to them that they should glorify [Allah] morning and evening.Ali Quli Qarai

  12. 19:12

    يَٰيَحْيَىٰ خُذِ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِقُوَّةٍۢ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّۭا ۝١٢

    ‘O John!’ [We said,] ‘Hold on with power to the Book!’ And We gave him judgement while still a child,Ali Quli Qarai

  13. 19:13

    وَحَنَانًۭا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَزَكَوٰةًۭ ۖ وَكَانَ تَقِيًّۭا ۝١٣

    and a compassion and purity from Us. He was GodwaryAli Quli Qarai

  14. 19:14

    وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّۭا ۝١٤

    and good to his parents, and was not self-willed or disobedient.Ali Quli Qarai

  15. 19:15

    وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ يُبْعَثُ حَيًّۭا ۝١٥

    Peace be to him, the day he was born, and the day he dies, and the day he is raised alive!Ali Quli Qarai

  16. 19:16

    وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مَرْيَمَ إِذِ ٱنتَبَذَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا مَكَانًۭا شَرْقِيًّۭا ۝١٦

    And mention in the Book Mary, when she withdrew from her family to an easterly place.Ali Quli Qarai

  17. 19:17

    فَٱتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًۭا فَأَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًۭا سَوِيًّۭا ۝١٧

    Thus did she seclude herself from them, whereupon We sent to her Our Spirit and he became incarnate for her as a well-proportioned human.Ali Quli Qarai

  18. 19:18

    قَالَتْ إِنِّىٓ أَعُوذُ بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيًّۭا ۝١٨

    She said, ‘I seek the protection of the All-beneficent from you, should you be Godwary!’Ali Quli Qarai

  19. 19:19

    قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَٰمًۭا زَكِيًّۭا ۝١٩

    He said, ‘I am only a messenger of your Lord that I may give you a pure son.’Ali Quli Qarai

  20. 19:20

    قَالَتْ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى غُلَٰمٌۭ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِى بَشَرٌۭ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّۭا ۝٢٠

    She said, ‘How shall I have a child seeing that no human being has ever touched me, nor have I been unchaste?’Ali Quli Qarai

  21. 19:21

    قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌۭ ۖ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُۥٓ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرًۭا مَّقْضِيًّۭا ۝٢١

    He said, ‘So shall it be. Your Lord says, ‘‘It is simple for Me.’’ And so that We may make him a sign for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is a matter [already] decided.’Ali Quli Qarai

  22. 19:22

    ۞ فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَٱنتَبَذَتْ بِهِۦ مَكَانًۭا قَصِيًّۭا ۝٢٢

    Thus she conceived him, then withdrew with him to a distant place.Ali Quli Qarai

  23. 19:23

    فَأَجَآءَهَا ٱلْمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَٰلَيْتَنِى مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًۭا مَّنسِيًّۭا ۝٢٣

    The birth pangs brought her to the trunk of a date palm. She said, ‘I wish I had died before this and become a forgotten thing, beyond recall.’Ali Quli Qarai

  24. 19:24

    فَنَادَىٰهَا مِن تَحْتِهَآ أَلَّا تَحْزَنِى قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّۭا ۝٢٤

    Thereupon he called her from below her [saying,] ‘Do not grieve! Your Lord has made a spring to flow at your feet.Ali Quli Qarai

  25. 19:25

    وَهُزِّىٓ إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ تُسَٰقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًۭا جَنِيًّۭا ۝٢٥

    Shake the trunk of the palm tree, freshly picked dates will drop upon you.Ali Quli Qarai

  26. 19:26

    فَكُلِى وَٱشْرَبِى وَقَرِّى عَيْنًۭا ۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلْبَشَرِ أَحَدًۭا فَقُولِىٓ إِنِّى نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ صَوْمًۭا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّۭا ۝٢٦

    Eat, drink, and be comforted. Then if you see any human, say, ‘‘Indeed I have vowed a fast to the All-beneficent, so I will not speak to any human today.’’ ’Ali Quli Qarai

  27. 19:27

    فَأَتَتْ بِهِۦ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُۥ ۖ قَالُوا۟ يَٰمَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَئًْۭا فَرِيًّۭا ۝٢٧

    Then carrying him she brought him to her people. They said, ‘O Mary, you have certainly come up with an odd thing!Ali Quli Qarai

  28. 19:28

    يَٰٓأُخْتَ هَٰرُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ ٱمْرَأَ سَوْءٍۢ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّۭا ۝٢٨

    O sister of Aaron[’s lineage]! Your father was not an evil man, nor was your mother unchaste.’Ali Quli Qarai

  29. 19:29

    فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ ۖ قَالُوا۟ كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِى ٱلْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّۭا ۝٢٩

    Thereat she pointed to him. They said, ‘How can we speak to one who is yet a baby in the cradle?’Ali Quli Qarai

  30. 19:30

    قَالَ إِنِّى عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ ءَاتَىٰنِىَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِى نَبِيًّۭا ۝٣٠

    He said, ‘Indeed I am a servant of Allah! He has given me the Book and made me a prophet.Ali Quli Qarai

  31. 19:31

    وَجَعَلَنِى مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَٰنِى بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّۭا ۝٣١

    He has made me blessed, wherever I may be, and He has enjoined me to [maintain] the prayer and to [pay] the zakat as long as I live,Ali Quli Qarai

  32. 19:32

    وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَتِى وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِى جَبَّارًۭا شَقِيًّۭا ۝٣٢

    and to be good to my mother, and He has not made me self-willed and wretched.Ali Quli Qarai

  33. 19:33

    وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَىَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّۭا ۝٣٣

    Peace to me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I am raised alive.’Ali Quli Qarai

  34. 19:34

    ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۚ قَوْلَ ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ ۝٣٤

    That is Jesus, son of Mary, a Word of the Real concerning whom they are in doubt.Ali Quli Qarai

  35. 19:35

    مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍۢ ۖ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥٓ ۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًۭا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ ۝٣٥

    It is not for Allah to take a son. Immaculate is He! When He decides on a matter, He just says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is.Ali Quli Qarai

  36. 19:36

    وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌۭ مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ ۝٣٦

    [And Jesus said,] ‘Indeed Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is a straight path.’Ali Quli Qarai

  37. 19:37

    فَٱخْتَلَفَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن مَّشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ۝٣٧

    But the factions differed among themselves. So woe to the faithless at the scene of a tremendous day.Ali Quli Qarai

  38. 19:38

    أَسْمِعْ بِهِمْ وَأَبْصِرْ يَوْمَ يَأْتُونَنَا ۖ لَٰكِنِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ ۝٣٨

    How well they will hear and how well they will see on the day when they come to Us! But today the wrongdoers are in manifest error.Ali Quli Qarai

  39. 19:39

    وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِى غَفْلَةٍۢ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ۝٣٩

    Warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be decided, while they are [yet] heedless and do not have faith.Ali Quli Qarai

  40. 19:40

    إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ ۝٤٠

    Indeed We shall inherit the earth and whoever there is on it, and to Us they shall be brought back.Ali Quli Qarai

  41. 19:41

    وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّا ۝٤١

    And mention in the Book Abraham. Indeed, he was a truthful man and a prophet.Ali Quli Qarai

  42. 19:42

    إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنكَ شَئًْۭا ۝٤٢

    When he said to his father, ‘Father! Why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees, and is of no avail to you in any way?Ali Quli Qarai

  43. 19:43

    يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّى قَدْ جَآءَنِى مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعْنِىٓ أَهْدِكَ صِرَٰطًۭا سَوِيًّۭا ۝٤٣

    Father! Indeed a knowledge has already come to me, which has not come to you. So follow me that I may guide you to a right path.Ali Quli Qarai

  44. 19:44

    يَٰٓأَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ ۖ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَصِيًّۭا ۝٤٤

    Father! Do not worship Satan. Indeed Satan is disobedient to the All-beneficent.Ali Quli Qarai

  45. 19:45

    يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَٰنِ وَلِيًّۭا ۝٤٥

    Father! I am indeed afraid that a punishment from the All-beneficent will befall you, and you will become Satan’s accomplice.’Ali Quli Qarai

  46. 19:46

    قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنْ ءَالِهَتِى يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ ۖ وَٱهْجُرْنِى مَلِيًّۭا ۝٤٦

    He said, ‘Abraham! Are you renouncing my gods? If you do not desist, I will stone you. Get away from me for a long while.’Ali Quli Qarai

  47. 19:47

    قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكَ ۖ سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّىٓ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِى حَفِيًّۭا ۝٤٧

    He said, ‘Peace be to you! I shall plead with my Lord to forgive you. Indeed, He is gracious to me.Ali Quli Qarai

  48. 19:48

    وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى عَسَىٰٓ أَلَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّى شَقِيًّۭا ۝٤٨

    I dissociate myself from you and whatever you invoke besides Allah. I will supplicate my Lord. Hopefully, I will not be disappointed in supplicating my Lord.’Ali Quli Qarai

  49. 19:49

    فَلَمَّا ٱعْتَزَلَهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَكُلًّۭا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيًّۭا ۝٤٩

    So when he had left them and what they worshipped besides Allah, We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and each We made a prophet.Ali Quli Qarai

  50. 19:50

    وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّۭا ۝٥٠

    And We gave them out of Our mercy, and conferred on them a worthy and lofty repute.Ali Quli Qarai

    وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مُوسَىٰٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مُخْلَصًۭا وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا ۝٥١

    أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّۧنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍۢ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَٱجْتَبَيْنَآ ۚ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًۭا وَبُكِيًّۭا ۩ ۝٥٨

    They are the ones whom Allah has blessed from among the prophets of Adam’s progeny, and from [the progeny of] those We carried with Noah, and from among the progeny of Abraham and Israel, and from among those that We guided and chose. When the signs of the All-beneficent were recited to them, they would fall down weeping in prostration.Ali Quli Qarai

    ۞ فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا ۝٥٩

    But they were succeeded by an evil posterity who neglected the prayer, and followed [their base] appetites. So they will soon encounter [the reward of] perversity,Ali Quli Qarai

  60. 19:60

    إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ شَئًْۭا ۝٦٠

    barring those who repent, believe, and act righteously. Such will enter paradise, and they will not be wronged in the least.Ali Quli Qarai

    جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ٱلَّتِى وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ عِبَادَهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ وَعْدُهُۥ مَأْتِيًّۭا ۝٦١

    Gardens of Eden promised by the All-beneficent to His servants, [while they were still] unseen. Indeed His promise is bound to come to pass.Ali Quli Qarai

    لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَٰمًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةًۭ وَعَشِيًّۭا ۝٦٢

    Therein they will not hear vain talk, but only ‘Peace!’ Therein they will have their provision morning and evening.Ali Quli Qarai

    وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمْرِ رَبِّكَ ۖ لَهُۥ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَمَا خَلْفَنَا وَمَا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّۭا ۝٦٤

    [O Gabriel, tell the Prophet,] ‘We do not descend except by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is in between that, and your Lord does not forgetAli Quli Qarai

  65. 19:65

    رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَٱعْبُدْهُ وَٱصْطَبِرْ لِعِبَٰدَتِهِۦ ۚ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُۥ سَمِيًّۭا ۝٦٥

    —the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. So worship Him and be steadfast in His worship. Do you know anyone who could be His namesake?’Ali Quli Qarai

    فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّۭا ۝٦٨

    By your Lord, We will surely gather them with the devils; then We will surely bring them up around hell [scrambling] on their knees.Ali Quli Qarai

  70. 19:70

    ثُمَّ لَنَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِهَا صِلِيًّۭا ۝٧٠

  71. 19:71

    وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَىُّ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌۭ مَّقَامًۭا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّۭا ۝٧٣

    When Our manifest signs are recited to them, the faithless say to the faithful, ‘Which of the two groups is superior in station and better with respect to company?’Ali Quli Qarai

    وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَٰثًۭا وَرِءْيًۭا ۝٧٤

    How many a generation We have destroyed before them, who were superior in furnishings and appearance!Ali Quli Qarai

  75. 19:75

    قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِى ٱلضَّلَٰلَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مَدًّا ۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوْا۟ مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا ٱلْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّۭ مَّكَانًۭا وَأَضْعَفُ جُندًۭا ۝٧٥

    Say, ‘Whoever abides in error, the All-beneficent shall prolong his respite until they sight what they have been promised: either punishment, or the Hour.’ Then they will know whose position is worse, and whose host is weaker.Ali Quli Qarai

  76. 19:76

    وَيَزِيدُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱهْتَدَوْا۟ هُدًۭى ۗ وَٱلْبَٰقِيَٰتُ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًۭا وَخَيْرٌۭ مَّرَدًّا ۝٧٦

    Allah enhances in guidance those who are [rightly] guided, and lasting righteous deeds are better with your Lord in reward, and better at the return [to Allah].Ali Quli Qarai

  77. 19:77

    Have you not regarded him who defies Our signs, and says, ‘I will surely be given wealth and children’?Ali Quli Qarai

    Has he come to know the Unseen, or taken a promise from the All-beneficent?Ali Quli Qarai

    No indeed! We will write down what he says, and We will prolong his punishment endlessly.Ali Quli Qarai

    Have you not regarded that We unleash the devils upon the faithless to urge them vigorously?Ali Quli Qarai

    no one will have the power to intercede [with Allah], except for him who has taken a covenant with the All-beneficent.Ali Quli Qarai

    The heavens are about to be rent apart at it, the earth to split open, and the mountains to collapse into bits,Ali Quli Qarai

    أَن دَعَوْا۟ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدًۭا ۝٩١

    There is none in the heavens and the earth but he comes to the All-beneficent as a servant.Ali Quli Qarai

    إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّۭا ۝٩٦

    Indeed those who have faith and do righteous deeds—the All-beneficent will endear them [to His creation].Ali Quli Qarai

    فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوْمًۭا لُّدًّۭا ۝٩٧

    Indeed We have made it simple in your language so that you may give good news thereby to the Godwary and warn with it a disputatious lot.Ali Quli Qarai

    وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًۢا ۝٩٨
