بِسْمِ
-
25:1
تَبَارَكَ
ٱ لَّذِى نَزَّلَٱ لْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْ دِهِۦ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَٰ لَمِينَ نَذِيرًا ١Tabaraka allathee nazzalaalfurqana AAala AAabdihi liyakoona lilAAalameenanatheera
Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion to His servant that he may be a warner to all the nations.Ali Quli Qarai
Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner -Saheeh International
-
25:2
ٱلَّذِى لَهُ
ۥ مُلْكُٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدً ۭا و َلَمْ يَكُن ل َّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ ۭف ِىٱ لْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ ۢف َقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقْ دِيرًۭا ٢Allathee lahu mulku assamawatiwal-ardi walam yattakhith waladan walamyakun lahu shareekun fee almulki wakhalaqa kulla shay-infaqaddarahu taqdeera
He, to whom belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and who did not take any offspring, nor has He any partner in sovereignty, and He created everything and determined it in a precise measure.Ali Quli Qarai
He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.Saheeh International

25:3
وَ
ٱ تَّخَذُوا۟ مِن د ُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً ۭل َّا يَخْلُقُونَ شَئًْ ۭا و َهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنف ُسِهِمْ ضَرًّ ۭا و َلَا نَفْعً ۭا و َلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتً ۭا و َلَا حَيَو ٰ ةً ۭو َلَا نُشُورًۭا ٣Wattakhathoo min doonihi alihatanla yakhluqoona shay-an wahum yukhlaqoona walayamlikoona li-anfusihim darran wala nafAAan walayamlikoona mawtan wala hayatan walanushoora
Yet they have taken gods besides Him who create nothing and have themselves been created, and who have no control over their own harm or benefit and have no control over [their own] death, life, or resurrection.Ali Quli Qarai
But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection.Saheeh International

25:4
وَقَالَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓ ا۟ إِنْ هَٰ ذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌٱ فْتَرَىٰ هُ وَأَعَانَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ ءَاخَرُونَ ۖ فَقَدْ جَا ٓءُو ظُلْمً ۭا و َزُورًۭا ٤Waqala allatheena kafaroo in hathailla ifkun iftarahu waaAAanahu AAalayhiqawmun akharoona faqad jaoo thulmanwazoora
The faithless say, ‘This is nothing but a lie that he has fabricated, and other people have abetted him in it.’ Thus they have certainly come out with wrongdoing and falsehood.Ali Quli Qarai
And those who disbelieve say, "This [Qur’ān] is not except a falsehood he invented, and another people assisted him in it." But they have committed an injustice and a lie.Saheeh International

25:5
وَقَال
ُوٓ ا۟ أَسَٰ طِيرُٱ لْأَوَّلِينَٱ كْتَتَبَهَا فَهِىَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً ۭو َأَصِيلًۭا ٥Waqaloo asateeru al-awwaleenaiktatabaha fahiya tumla AAalayhi bukratan waaseela
They say, ‘He has taken down myths of the ancients, and they are dictated to him morning and evening.’Ali Quli Qarai
And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."Saheeh International

25:6
قُلْ أَ
نز َلَهُٱ لَّذِى يَعْلَمُٱ ل سِّرَّ فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنّ َهُۥ كَانَ غَفُورً ۭا ر َّحِيمًۭا ٦Qul anzalahu allathee yaAAlamu assirrafee assamawati wal-ardiinnahu kana ghafooran raheema
Say, ‘It has been sent down by Him who knows the hidden in the heavens and the earth. Indeed He is all-forgiving, all-merciful.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, [O Muḥammad], "It has been revealed by He who knows [every] secret within the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving and Merciful."Saheeh International

25:7
وَقَالُو
ا۟ مَالِ هَٰ ذَاٱ ل رَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُٱ ل طَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِى فِىٱ لْأَسْوَاقِ ۙ لَوْلَآ أُنز ِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ ۭف َيَكُونَ مَعَهُۥ نَذِيرًا ٧Waqaloo mali hatha arrasooliya/kulu attaAAama wayamshee fee al-aswaqilawla onzila ilayhi malakun fayakoona maAAahu natheera
And they say, ‘What sort of apostle is this who eats food and walks in the marketplaces? Why has not an angel been sent down to him so as to be a warner along with him?’Ali Quli Qarai
And they say, "What is this messenger that eats food and walks in the markets? Why was there not sent down to him an angel so he would be with him a warner?Saheeh International

25:8
أَوْ يُلْقَ
ىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ كَنز ٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُۥ جَنّ َةٌ ۭي َأْكُلُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَقَالَٱ ل ظَّٰ لِمُونَ إِن ت َتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلً ۭام َّسْحُورًا ٨Aw yulqa ilayhi kanzun aw takoonu lahujannatun ya/kulu minha waqala aththalimoonain tattabiAAoona illa rajulan mashoora
Or, ‘[Why is not] a treasure thrown to him, or [why does] he [not] have a garden from which he may eat?’ And the wrongdoers say, ‘You are just following a bewitched man.’Ali Quli Qarai
Or [why is not] a treasure presented to him [from heaven], or does he [not] have a garden from which he eats?" And the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic."Saheeh International

25:9
ٱ
نظ ُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَٱ لْأَمْثَٰ لَ فَضَلُّوا۟ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًۭا ٩Onthur kayfa daraboolaka al-amthala fadalloo fala yastateeAAoonasabeela
Look, how they coin epithets for you; so they go astray, and cannot find the way.Ali Quli Qarai
Look how they strike for you comparisons; but they have strayed, so they cannot [find] a way.Saheeh International

25:10
تَبَارَكَ
ٱ لَّذِىٓ إِن ش َا ٓءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرً ۭا م ِّن ذ َٰ لِكَ جَنّ َٰ تٍ ۢت َجْ رِى مِن ت َحْتِهَاٱ لْأَنْهَٰ رُ وَيَجْ عَل لَّكَ قُصُورًۢا ١٠Tabaraka allathee in shaajaAAala laka khayran min thalika jannatin tajreemin tahtiha al-anharu wayajAAal laka qusoora
Blessed is He who will grant you better than that if He wishes—gardens with streams running in them, and He will make for you palaces.Ali Quli Qarai
Blessed is He who, if He willed, could have made for you [something] better than that - gardens beneath which rivers flow - and could make for you palaces.Saheeh International

25:11
بَلْ كَذَّبُو
ا۟ بِٱ ل سَّاعَةِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْ نَا لِمَن ك َذَّبَ بِٱ ل سَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا ١١Bal kaththaboo bissaAAatiwaaAAtadna liman kaththaba bissaAAatisaAAeera
Indeed, they deny the Hour, and We have prepared a Blaze for those who deny the Hour.Ali Quli Qarai
But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a Blaze.Saheeh International

25:12
إِذَا رَأَتْه
ُم م ِّن م َّكَانٍۭ ب َعِيدٍ ۢس َمِعُوا۟ لَهَا تَغَيُّظً ۭا و َزَفِيرًۭا ١٢Itha raat-hum min makaninbaAAeedin samiAAoo laha taghayyuthanwazafeera
When it sights them from a distant place, they will hear it raging and roaring.Ali Quli Qarai
When it [i.e., the Hellfire] sees them from a distant place, they will hear its fury and roaring.Saheeh International
-
25:13
وَإِذ
َآ أُلْقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مَكَانً ۭا ض َيِّقً ۭا م ُّقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوْا۟ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورًۭا ١٣Wa-itha olqoo minha makanandayyiqan muqarraneena daAAaw hunalika thuboora
And when they are cast into a narrow place in it, bound together [in chains], they will pray for [their own] annihilation.Ali Quli Qarai
And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction.Saheeh International

25:14
لَّا تَ
دْ عُوا۟ ٱ لْيَوْمَ ثُبُورً ۭا و َٰ حِدً ۭا و َٱ دْ عُوا۟ ثُبُورً ۭا ك َثِيرًۭا ١٤La tadAAoo alyawma thubooran wahidanwadAAoo thubooran katheera
[They will be told:] ‘Do not pray for a single annihilation today, but pray for many annihilations!’Ali Quli Qarai
[They will be told], "Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much destruction."Saheeh International

25:15
قُلْ أَذَ
ٰ لِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنّ َةُٱ لْخُلْدِٱ لَّتِى وُعِدَٱ لْمُتَّقُونَ ۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَا ٓءً ۭو َمَصِيرًۭا ١٥Qul athalika khayrun am jannatualkhuldi allatee wuAAida almuttaqoona kanat lahum jazaanwamaseera
Say, ‘Is that better, or the everlasting paradise promised to the Godwary, which will be their reward and destination?’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Is that better or the Garden of Eternity which is promised to the righteous? It will be for them a reward and destination.Saheeh International

25:16
لَّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَش
َا ٓءُونَ خَٰ لِدِينَ ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدً ۭا م َّسُْٔولًۭا ١٦Lahum feeha ma yashaoonakhalideena kana AAala rabbika waAAdanmas-oola
There they will have whatever they wish, abiding [forever]—a promise [much] besought, [binding] on your Lord.Ali Quli Qarai
For them therein is whatever they wish, [while] abiding eternally. It is ever upon your Lord a promise [worthy to be] requested.Saheeh International
-
25:17
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِ
ن د ُونِٱ للَّهِ فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنت ُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِى هَٰٓ ؤُلَا ٓءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا۟ ٱ ل سَّبِي لَ ١٧Wayawma yahshuruhum wamayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi fayaqoolu aantum adlaltumAAibadee haola-i am hum dalloo assabeel
On the day that He will muster them and those whom they worship besides Allah, He will say, ‘Was it you who led astray these servants of Mine, or did they themselves stray from the way?’Ali Quli Qarai
And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allāh and will say, "Did you mislead these, My servants, or did they [themselves] stray from the way?"Saheeh International
-
25:18
قَالُو
ا۟ سُبْ حَٰ نَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنۢب َغِى لَنَآ أَن ن َّتَّخِذَ مِن د ُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَا ٓءَ وَلَٰ كِن م َّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَءَابَا ٓءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَسُوا۟ ٱ ل ذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۢا ب ُورًۭا ١٨Qaloo subhanaka ma kanayanbaghee lana an nattakhitha min doonika min awliyaawalakin mattaAAtahum waabaahum hattanasoo aththikra wakanoo qawman boora
They will say, ‘Immaculate are You! It does not behoove us to take any wali in Your stead! But You provided for them and their fathers until they forgot the Reminder, and they were a ruined lot.’Ali Quli Qarai
They will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for us to take besides You any allies [i.e., protectors]. But You provided comforts for them and their fathers until they forgot the message and became a people ruined."Saheeh International

25:19
فَقَ
دْ كَذَّبُوكُم ب ِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفً ۭا و َلَا نَصْرً ۭا ۚ و َمَن ي َظْلِم م ِّنك ُمْ نُذِقْ هُ عَذَابً ۭا ك َبِيرًۭا ١٩Faqad kaththabookum bimataqooloona fama tastateeAAoona sarfan walanasran waman yathlim minkum nuthiqhuAAathaban kabeera
So they will certainly impugn you in what you say, and you will neither be able to circumvent [punishment] nor find help, and whoever of you does wrong, We shall make him taste a terrible punishment.Ali Quli Qarai
So they will deny you, [disbelievers], in what you say, and you cannot avert [punishment] or [find] help. And whoever commits injustice among you - We will make him taste a great punishment.Saheeh International
-
25:20
وَم
َآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْ لَكَ مِنَٱ لْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّآ إِنّ َهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَٱ ل طَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِىٱ لْأَسْوَاقِ ۗ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ۢف ِتْنَةً أَتَصْبِرُونَ ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًۭا ٢٠Wama arsalna qablaka minaalmursaleena illa innahum laya/kuloona attaAAamawayamshoona fee al-aswaqi wajaAAalna baAAdakumlibaAAdin fitnatan atasbiroona wakanarabbuka baseera
We did not send any apostles before you but that they indeed ate food and walked in marketplaces. We have made you a [means of] test for one another, [to see] if you will be patient and steadfast, and your Lord is all-seeing.Ali Quli Qarai
And We did not send before you, [O Muḥammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing.Saheeh International

25:21
۞ وَقَالَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَا ٓءَنَا لَوْلَآ أُنز ِلَ عَلَيْنَاٱ لْمَلَٰٓ ئِكَةُ أَوْ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَا ۗ لَقَدِٱ سْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنف ُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّ ۭا ك َبِيرًۭا ٢١Waqala allatheena layarjoona liqaana lawla onzila AAalaynaalmala-ikatu aw nara rabbana laqadiistakbaroo fee anfusihim waAAataw AAutuwwan kabeera
Those who do not expect to encounter Us say, ‘Why have angels not been sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?’ Certainly, they are full of arrogance within their souls and have become terribly defiant.Ali Quli Qarai
And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence.Saheeh International

25:22
يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ
ٱ لْمَلَٰٓ ئِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ ۢل ِّلْمُجْ رِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْ رً ۭا م َّحْجُورًۭا ٢٢Yawma yarawna almala-ikata labushra yawma-ithin lilmujrimeena wayaqooloona hijranmahjoora
The day they will see the angels, there will be no good news for the guilty on that day, and they will say, ‘Keep off [from paradise]!’Ali Quli Qarai
The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible."Saheeh International
-
25:23
وَقَدِمْن
َآ إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ مِنْ عَمَلٍ ۢف َجَعَلْنَٰ هُ هَبَا ٓءً ۭم َّنث ُورًا ٢٣Waqadimna ila maAAamiloo min AAamalin fajaAAalnahu habaan manthoora
Then We shall attend to the works they have done and then turn them into scattered dust.Ali Quli Qarai
And We will approach [i.e., regard] what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.Saheeh International
-
25:24
أَصْحَ
ٰ بُٱ لْجَنّ َةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ ۭم ُّسْتَقَرًّ ۭا و َأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلًۭا ٢٤As-habu aljannati yawma-ithinkhayrun mustaqarran waahsanu maqeela
On that day the inhabitants of paradise will be in the best abode and an excellent resting place.Ali Quli Qarai
The companions of Paradise, that Day, are [in] a better settlement and better resting place.Saheeh International
-
25:25
وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ
ٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءُ بِٱ لْغَمَٰ مِ وَنُزِّلَٱ لْمَلَٰٓ ئِكَةُ تَنز ِيلًا ٢٥Wayawma tashaqqaqu assamao bilghamamiwanuzzila almala-ikatu tanzeela
The day when the sky with its clouds will be split open, and the angels will be sent down [in a majestic] descent,Ali Quli Qarai
And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent.Saheeh International
-
25:26
ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ
ٱ لْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَٰ نِ ۚ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَىٱ لْكَٰ فِرِينَ عَسِيرًۭا ٢٦Almulku yawma-ithin alhaqqu lirrahmaniwakana yawman AAala alkafireena AAaseera
on that day true sovereignty will belong to the All-beneficent, and it will be a hard day for the faithless.Ali Quli Qarai
True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day.Saheeh International
-
25:27
وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ
ٱ ل ظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَٰ لَيْتَنِىٱ تَّخَذْتُ مَعَٱ ل رَّسُولِ سَبِيلًۭا ٢٧Wayawma yaAAaddu aththalimuAAala yadayhi yaqoolu ya laytanee ittakhathtumaAAa arrasooli sabeela
It will be a day when the wrongdoer will bite his hands, saying, ‘I wish I had followed the Apostle’s way!Ali Quli Qarai
And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way.Saheeh International

25:28
يَ
ٰ وَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًۭا ٢٨Ya waylata laytanee lamattakhith fulanan khaleela
Woe to me! I wish I had not taken so and so as a friend!Ali Quli Qarai
Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.Saheeh International
-
25:29
لَّقَ
دْ أَضَلَّنِى عَنِٱ ل ذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَا ٓءَنِى ۗ وَكَانَٱ ل شَّيْطَٰ نُ لِلْإِنس َٰ نِ خَذُولًۭا ٢٩Laqad adallanee AAani aththikribaAAda ith jaanee wakana ashshaytanulil-insani khathoola
Certainly he led me astray from the Reminder after it had come to me, and Satan is a deserter of man.’Ali Quli Qarai
He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter."Saheeh International
-
25:30
وَقَالَ
ٱ ل رَّسُولُ يَٰ رَبِّ إِنّ َ قَوْمِىٱ تَّخَذُوا۟ هَٰ ذَاٱ لْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًۭا ٣٠Waqala arrasoolu yarabbi inna qawmee ittakhathoo hatha alqur-anamahjoora
And the Apostle will say, ‘O my Lord! Indeed my people consigned this Quran to oblivion.’Ali Quli Qarai
And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’ān as [a thing] abandoned."Saheeh International

25:31
وَكَذَ
ٰ لِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّ ۭا م ِّنَٱ لْمُجْ رِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيً ۭا و َنَصِيرًۭا ٣١Wakathalika jaAAalna likullinabiyyin AAaduwwan mina almujrimeena wakafa birabbika hadiyanwanaseera
That is how for every prophet We assigned an enemy from among the guilty, and your Lord suffices as helper and guide.Ali Quli Qarai
And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper.Saheeh International
-
25:32
وَقَالَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِٱ لْقُرْءَانُ جُمْلَةً ۭو َٰ حِدَةً ۭۚ ك َذَٰ لِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَٰ هُ تَرْتِيلًۭا ٣٢Waqala allatheena kafaroo lawlanuzzila AAalayhi alqur-anu jumlatan wahidatan kathalikalinuthabbita bihi fu-adaka warattalnahu tarteela
The faithless say, ‘Why has not the Quran been sent down to him all at once?’ So it was, that We may strengthen your heart with it, and We have recited it [to you] in a measured tone.Ali Quli Qarai
And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur’ān not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.Saheeh International
-
25:33
وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَ
ٰ كَ بِٱ لْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا ٣٣Wala ya/toonaka bimathalin illaji/naka bilhaqqi waahsana tafseera
They do not bring you any representation but that We bring you the truth [in reply to them] and the best exposition.Ali Quli Qarai
And they do not come to you with an example [i.e., argument] except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation.Saheeh International
-
25:34
ٱلَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَ
نّ َمَ أُو۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ شَرٌّ ۭم َّكَانً ۭا و َأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًۭا ٣٤Allatheena yuhsharoona AAalawujoohihim ila jahannama ola-ika sharrun makananwaadallu sabeela
Those who will be mustered [fallen] on their faces toward hell, they are the worse situated and further astray from the [right] way.Ali Quli Qarai
The ones who are gathered on their faces to Hell - those are the worst in position and farthest astray in [their] way.Saheeh International

25:35
وَلَقَ
دْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَىٱ لْكِتَٰ بَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَٰ رُونَ وَزِيرًۭا ٣٥Walaqad atayna moosaalkitaba wajaAAalna maAAahu akhahu haroonawazeera
Certainly We gave Moses the Book and We made Aaron, his brother, accompany him as a minister.Ali Quli Qarai
And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant.Saheeh International
-
25:36
فَقُلْنَا
ٱ ذْهَبَآ إِلَىٱ لْقَوْمِٱ لَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بَِٔايَٰ تِنَا فَدَمّ َرْنَٰ هُمْ تَدْ مِيرًۭا ٣٦Faqulna ithhaba ilaalqawmi allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinafadammarnahum tadmeera
Then We said, ‘Let the two of you go to the people who have denied Our signs.’ Then We destroyed them utterly.Ali Quli Qarai
And We said, "Go both of you to the people who have denied Our signs." Then We destroyed them with [complete] destruction.Saheeh International
-
25:37
وَقَوْمَ نُو
حٍ ۢل َّمّ َا كَذَّبُوا۟ ٱ ل رُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْ نَٰ هُمْ وَجَعَلْنَٰ هُمْ لِلنّ َاسِ ءَايَةً ۭۖ و َأَعْتَدْ نَا لِلظَّٰ لِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۭا ٣٧Waqawma noohin lamma kaththabooarrusula aghraqnahum wajaAAalnahum linnasiayatan waaAAtadna liththalimeenaAAathaban aleema
And Noah’s people, We drowned them when they impugned the apostles, and We made them a sign for mankind, and We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.Ali Quli Qarai
And the people of Noah - when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.Saheeh International

25:38
وَعَا
دً ۭا و َثَمُودَا۟ وَأَصْحَٰ بَٱ ل رَّسِّ وَقُرُونًۢا ب َيْنَ ذَٰ لِكَ كَثِيرًۭا ٣٨WaAAadan wathamooda waas-habaarrassi waquroonan bayna thalika katheera
And ‘Ad and Thamud, and the people of Rass, and many generations between them.Ali Quli Qarai
And [We destroyed] ʿAad and Thamūd and the companions of the well and many generations between them.Saheeh International
-
25:39
وَكُل
ًّ ۭاض َرَبْ نَا لَهُٱ لْأَمْثَٰ لَ ۖ وَكُلًّ ۭات َبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًۭا ٣٩Wakullan darabna lahu al-amthalawakullan tabbarna tatbeera
For each of them We drew examples, and each We destroyed utterly.Ali Quli Qarai
And for each We presented examples [as warnings], and each We destroyed with [total] destruction.Saheeh International
-
25:40
وَلَقَ
دْ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَىٱ لْقَرْيَةِٱ لَّتِىٓ أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَٱ ل سَّوْءِ ۚ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا۟ يَرَوْنَهَا ۚ بَلْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًۭا ٤٠Walaqad ataw AAala alqaryati allateeomtirat matara assaw-i afalam yakoonooyarawnaha bal kanoo la yarjoona nushoora
Certainly they must have passed the town on which an evil shower was rained. Have they not seen it? Rather, they did not expect resurrection [to happen].Ali Quli Qarai
And they have already come upon the town which was showered with a rain of evil [i.e., stones]. So have they not seen it? But they are not expecting resurrection.Saheeh International
-
25:41
وَإِذَا رَأَوْكَ إ
ِن ي َتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَٰ ذَاٱ لَّذِى بَعَثَٱ للَّهُ رَسُولًا ٤١Wa-itha raawka in yattakhithoonakailla huzuwan ahatha allathee baAAatha Allahurasoola
When they see you they just take you in derision: ‘Is this the one whom Allah has sent as an apostle!?Ali Quli Qarai
And when they see you, [O Muḥammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one whom Allāh has sent as a messenger?Saheeh International
-
25:42
إِ
ن ك َادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوْلَآ أَن ص َبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَٱ لْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا ٤٢In kada layudillunaAAan alihatina lawla an sabarnaAAalayha wasawfa yaAAlamoona heena yarawna alAAathabaman adallu sabeela
Indeed he was about to lead us astray from our gods, had we not stood firm by them.’ Soon they will know, when they sight the punishment, who is further astray from the [right] way.Ali Quli Qarai
He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worship of] them." But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way.Saheeh International
-
25:43
أَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ
ٱ تَّخَذَ إِلَٰ هَهُۥ هَوَىٰ هُ أَفَأَنت َ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا ٤٣Araayta mani ittakhatha ilahahuhawahu afaanta takoonu AAalayhi wakeela
Have you seen him who has taken his desire to be his god? Is it your duty to watch over him?Ali Quli Qarai
Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire? Then would you be responsible for him?Saheeh International
-
25:44
أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَ
نّ َ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ ۚ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَٱ لْأَنْعَٰ مِ ۖ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا ٤٤Am tahsabu anna aktharahumyasmaAAoona aw yaAAqiloona in hum illa kal-anAAamibal hum adallu sabeela
Do you suppose that most of them listen or exercise their reason? They are just like cattle; indeed, they are further astray from the way.Ali Quli Qarai
Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.Saheeh International
-
25:45
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ
ٱ ل ظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَا ٓءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنً ۭا ث ُمّ َ جَعَلْنَاٱ ل شَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًۭا ٤٥Alam tara ila rabbika kayfa madda aththillawalaw shaa lajaAAalahu sakinan thumma jaAAalnaashshamsa AAalayhi daleela
Have you not regarded how your Lord spreads the twilight? (Had He wished He would have made it stand still.) Then We made the sun a beacon for it.Ali Quli Qarai
Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication.Saheeh International
-
25:46
ثُ
مّ َ قَبَضْنَٰ هُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْ ضً ۭا ي َسِيرًۭا ٤٦Thumma qabadnahu ilaynaqabdan yaseera
Then We retract it toward Ourselves, with a gentle retracting.Ali Quli Qarai
Then We [retract and] hold it with Us for a brief grasp.Saheeh International
-
25:47
وَهُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُٱ لَّيْلَ لِبَاسً ۭا و َٱ ل نّ َوْمَ سُبَاتً ۭا و َجَعَلَٱ ل نّ َهَارَ نُشُورًۭا ٤٧Wahuwa allathee jaAAala lakumuallayla libasan wannawma subatan wajaAAalaannahara nushoora
It is He who made for you the night as a covering and sleep for rest and He made the day a recall to life.Ali Quli Qarai
And it is He who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection.Saheeh International
-
25:48
وَهُوَ
ٱ لَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَٱ ل رِّيَٰ حَ بُشْرًۢا ب َيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ وَأَنز َلْنَا مِنَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ مَا ٓءً ۭط َهُورًۭا ٤٨Wahuwa allathee arsala arriyahabushran bayna yaday rahmatihi waanzalna mina assama-imaan tahoora
And it is He who sends the winds as harbingers of His mercy, and We send down from the sky purifying water,Ali Quli Qarai
And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy [i.e., rainfall], and We send down from the sky pure waterSaheeh International
-
25:49
لِّنُحِْۧىَ بِه
ِۦ بَلْدَةً ۭم َّيْتً ۭا و َنُسْقِيَهُۥ مِمّ َا خَلَقْ نَآ أَنْعَٰ مً ۭا و َأَنَاسِىَّ كَثِيرًۭا ٤٩Linuhyiya bihi baldatan maytanwanusqiyahu mimma khalaqna anAAaman waanasiyyakatheera
with which We revive a dead country and provide water to many of the cattle and humans We have created.Ali Quli Qarai
That We may bring to life thereby a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men.Saheeh International
-
25:50
وَلَقَ
دْ صَرَّفْنَٰ هُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟ فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكْثَرُٱ ل نّ َاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًۭا ٥٠Walaqad sarrafnahu baynahumliyaththakkaroo faaba aktharu annasiilla kufoora
Certainly We distribute it among them so that they may take admonition. But most people are only intent on ingratitude.Ali Quli Qarai
And We have certainly distributed it among them that they might be reminded, but most of the people refuse except disbelief.Saheeh International
-
25:51
وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَ
ةٍ ۢن َّذِيرًۭا ٥١Walaw shi/na labaAAathna feekulli qaryatin natheera
Had We wished, We would have sent a warner to every town.Ali Quli Qarai
And if We had willed, We could have sent into every city a warner.Saheeh International
-
25:52
فَلَا تُطِعِ
ٱ لْكَٰ فِرِينَ وَجَٰ هِدْ هُم ب ِهِۦ جِهَادً ۭا ك َبِيرًۭا ٥٢Fala tutiAAi alkafireenawajahidhum bihi jihadan kabeera
So do not obey the faithless, but wage a great jihad against them with it.Ali Quli Qarai
So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with it [i.e., the Qur’ān] a great striving.Saheeh International
-
25:53
۞ وَهُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى مَرَجَٱ لْبَحْرَيْنِ هَٰ ذَا عَذْبٌ ۭف ُرَاتٌ ۭو َهَٰ ذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ ۭو َجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخً ۭا و َحِجْ رً ۭا م َّحْجُورًۭا ٥٣Wahuwa allathee maraja albahraynihatha AAathbun furatun wahatha milhunojajun wajaAAala baynahuma barzakhan wahijranmahjoora
It is He who merged the two seas: this one sweet and agreeable, and that one briny and bitter, and between the two He set a barrier and a forbidding hindrance.Ali Quli Qarai
And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas [i.e., bodies of water], one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.Saheeh International
-
25:54
وَهُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَٱ لْمَا ٓءِ بَشَرً ۭا ف َجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبً ۭا و َصِهْرً ۭا ۗ و َكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًۭا ٥٤Wahuwa allathee khalaqa mina alma-ibasharan fajaAAalahu nasaban wasihran wakanarabbuka qadeera
It is He who created the human being from water, then invested him with ties of blood and marriage, and your Lord is all-powerful.Ali Quli Qarai
And it is He who has created from water [i.e., semen] a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].Saheeh International
-
25:55
وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِ
ن د ُونِٱ للَّهِ مَا لَا يَنف َعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْ ۗ وَكَانَٱ لْكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِيرًۭا ٥٥WayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi mala yanfaAAuhum wala yadurruhum wakanaalkafiru AAala rabbihi thaheera
They worship besides Allah that which neither brings them any benefit nor causes them any harm, and the faithless one is ever an abettor against his Lord.Ali Quli Qarai
But they worship rather than Allāh that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan].Saheeh International
-
25:56
وَم
َآ أَرْسَلْنَٰ كَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرً ۭا و َنَذِيرًۭا ٥٦Wama arsalnaka illamubashshiran wanatheera
We did not send you except as a bearer of good news and as a warner.Ali Quli Qarai
And We have not sent you, [O Muḥammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.Saheeh International
-
25:57
قُلْ م
َآ أَسَْٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْ رٍ إِلَّا مَن ش َا ٓءَ أَن ي َتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًۭا ٥٧Qul ma as-alukum AAalayhi min ajrinilla man shaa an yattakhitha ilarabbihi sabeela
Say, ‘I do not ask you any reward for it, except that anyone who wishes should take the way to his Lord.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment - only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way."Saheeh International
-
25:58
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى
ٱ لْحَىِّٱ لَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا ٥٨Watawakkal AAala alhayyi allatheela yamootu wasabbih bihamdihi wakafabihi bithunoobi AAibadihi khabeera
Put your trust in the Living One who does not die, and celebrate His praise. He suffices as one all-aware of the sins of His servants.Ali Quli Qarai
And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allāh] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, [fully] Aware -Saheeh International
-
25:59
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ
ٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ۢث ُمّ َٱ سْتَوَىٰ عَلَىٱ لْعَرْشِ ۚٱ ل رَّحْمَٰ نُ فَسَْٔلْ بِهِۦ خَبِيرًۭا ٥٩Allathee khalaqa assamawatiwal-arda wama baynahuma fee sittatiayyamin thumma istawa AAala alAAarshi arrahmanufas-al bihi khabeera
He, who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days, and then settled on the Throne, the All-beneficent; so ask someone who is well aware about Him.Ali Quli Qarai
He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed [i.e., the Prophet (ﷺ)].Saheeh International
-
25:60
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ
ٱ سْجُدُوا۟ لِلرَّحْمَٰ نِ قَالُوا۟ وَمَاٱ ل رَّحْمَٰ نُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًۭا ۩ ٦٠Wa-itha qeela lahumu osjudoo lirrahmaniqaloo wama arrahmanu anasjudulima ta/muruna wazadahum nufoora
When they are told: ‘Prostrate yourselves before the All-beneficent,’ they say, ‘What is ‘‘the All-beneficent’’? Shall we prostrate ourselves before whatever you bid us?’ And it increases their aversion.Ali Quli Qarai
And when it is said to them, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?" And it increases them in aversion.Saheeh International
-
25:61
تَبَارَكَ
ٱ لَّذِى جَعَلَ فِىٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ بُرُوجً ۭا و َجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰ جً ۭا و َقَمَرً ۭا م ُّنِيرًۭا ٦١Tabaraka allathee jaAAala feeassama-i buroojan wajaAAala feeha sirajanwaqamaran muneera
Blessed is He who appointed houses in the sky and set in it a lamp and a shining moon.Ali Quli Qarai
Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon.Saheeh International
-
25:62
وَهُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى جَعَلَٱ لَّيْلَ وَٱ ل نّ َهَارَ خِلْفَةً ۭل ِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن ي َذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًۭا ٦٢Wahuwa allathee jaAAala allayla wannaharakhilfatan liman arada an yaththakkara aw aradashukoora
It is He who made the night and the day alternate for someone who desires to take admonition, or desires to give thanks.Ali Quli Qarai
And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude.Saheeh International
-
25:63
وَعِبَادُ
ٱ ل رَّحْمَٰ نِٱ لَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَىٱ لْأَرْضِ هَوْنً ۭا و َإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُٱ لْجَٰ هِلُونَ قَالُوا۟ سَلَٰ مًۭا ٦٣WaAAibadu arrahmaniallatheena yamshoona AAala al-ardi hawnanwa-itha khatabahumu aljahiloona qaloosalama
The servants of the All-beneficent are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them, say, ‘Peace!’Ali Quli Qarai
And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace,Saheeh International
-
25:64
وَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدً ۭا و َقِيَٰ مًۭا ٦٤Wallatheena yabeetoonalirabbihim sujjadan waqiyama
Those who spend the night for their Lord, prostrating and standing [in worship].Ali Quli Qarai
And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer]Saheeh International
-
25:65
وَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَاٱ صْرِفْ عَنّ َا عَذَابَ جَهَنّ َمَ ۖ إِنّ َ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا ٦٥Wallatheena yaqooloona rabbanaisrif AAanna AAathaba jahannama inna AAathabahakana gharama
Those who say, ‘Our Lord! Turn away from us the punishment of hell. Indeed its punishment is enduring.Ali Quli Qarai
And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering;Saheeh International
-
25:66
إِ
نّ َهَا سَا ٓءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّ ۭا و َمُقَامًۭا ٦٦Innaha saat mustaqarran wamuqama
Indeed it is an evil station and abode.’Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence."Saheeh International
-
25:67
وَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَنف َقُوا۟ لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا۟ وَلَمْ يَقْ تُرُوا۟ وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٰ لِكَ قَوَامًۭا ٦٧Wallatheena ithaanfaqoo lam yusrifoo walam yaqturoo wakana bayna thalikaqawama
Those who are neither wasteful nor tightfisted when spending, but balanced between these [two extremes].Ali Quli Qarai
And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderateSaheeh International
-
25:68
وَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَدْ عُونَ مَعَٱ للَّهِ إِلَٰ هًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا يَقْ تُلُونَٱ ل نّ َفْسَٱ لَّتِى حَرَّمَٱ للَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱ لْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ ۚ وَمَن ي َفْعَلْ ذَٰ لِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًۭا ٦٨Wallatheena layadAAoona maAAa Allahi ilahan akharawala yaqtuloona annafsa allatee harrama Allahuilla bilhaqqi wala yaznoona wamanyafAAal thalika yalqa athama
Those who do not invoke another deity besides Allah, and do not kill a soul [whose life] Allah has made inviolable, except with due cause, and do not commit fornication. (Whoever does that shall encounter its retribution,Ali Quli Qarai
And those who do not invoke with Allāh another deity or kill the soul which Allāh has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty.Saheeh International
-
25:69
يُضَ
ٰ عَفْ لَهُٱ لْعَذَابُ يَوْمَٱ لْقِيَٰ مَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِۦ مُهَانًا ٦٩YudaAAaf lahu alAAathabu yawmaalqiyamati wayakhlud feehi muhana
the punishment being doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection. In it he will abide in humiliation forever,Ali Quli Qarai
Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated -Saheeh International
-
25:70
إِلَّا مَ
ن ت َابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلً ۭاص َٰ لِحً ۭا ف َأُو۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ يُبَدِّلُٱ للَّهُ سَئَِّاتِهِمْ حَسَنَٰ تٍ ۢۗ و َكَانَٱ للَّهُ غَفُورً ۭا ر َّحِيمًۭا ٧٠Illa man taba waamanawaAAamila AAamalan salihan faola-ikayubaddilu Allahu sayyi-atihim hasanatinwakana Allahu ghafooran raheema
except those who repent, attain faith, and act righteously. For such, Allah will replace their misdeeds with good deeds, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.Ali Quli Qarai
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allāh will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.Saheeh International
-
25:71
وَمَ
ن ت َابَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰ لِحً ۭا ف َإِنّ َهُۥ يَتُوبُ إِلَىٱ للَّهِ مَتَابًۭا ٧١Waman taba waAAamila salihanfa-innahu yatoobu ila Allahi mataba
And whoever repents and acts righteously indeed turns to Allah with due penitence).Ali Quli Qarai
And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allāh with [accepted] repentance.Saheeh International
-
25:72
وَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَٱ ل زُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱ ل لَّغْوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامًۭا ٧٢Wallatheena layashhadoona azzoora wa-itha marroo billaghwimarroo kirama
Those who do not give false testimony, and when they come upon frivolity, pass by with dignity.Ali Quli Qarai
And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity.Saheeh International
-
25:73
وَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بَِٔايَٰ تِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا۟ عَلَيْهَا صُمًّ ۭا و َعُمْيَانًۭا ٧٣Wallatheena itha thukkiroobi-ayati rabbihim lam yakhirroo AAalayha summanwaAAumyana
Those who, when reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to them.Ali Quli Qarai
And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind.Saheeh International

25:74
وَ
ٱ لَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَٰ جِنَا وَذُرِّيَّٰ تِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ ۢو َٱ جْ عَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا ٧٤Wallatheena yaqooloona rabbanahab lana min azwajina wathurriyyatinaqurrata aAAyunin wajAAalna lilmuttaqeena imama
And those who say, ‘Our Lord! Give us joy and comfort in our spouses and offspring, and make us imams of the Godwary.’Ali Quli Qarai
And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us a leader [i.e., example] for the righteous."Saheeh International

25:75
أُ
و۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ يُجْ زَوْنَٱ لْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً ۭو َسَلَٰ مًا ٧٥Ola-ika yujzawna alghurfata bimasabaroo wayulaqqawna feeha tahiyyatan wasalama
Those shall be rewarded with sublime abodes for their patience and steadfastness, and they shall be met there with greetings and ‘Peace,’Ali Quli Qarai
Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace,Saheeh International

25:76
خَ
ٰ لِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّ ۭا و َمُقَامًۭا ٧٦Khalideena feeha hasunatmustaqarran wamuqama
to abide in them [forever], an excellent station and abode.Ali Quli Qarai
Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence.Saheeh International

25:77
قُلْ مَا يَعْبَؤُ
ا۟ بِكُمْ رَبِّى لَوْلَا دُعَا ٓؤُكُمْ ۖ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْ تُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامًۢا ٧٧Qul ma yaAAbao bikum rabbee lawladuAAaokum faqad kaththabtum fasawfa yakoonu lizama
Say, ‘Were it not for the sake of summoning you [to faith], what store my Lord would have set by you? But you impugned [me and my summons], so it will soon follow as a result.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so it [i.e., your denial] is going to be adherent.Saheeh International
