مٓ ١Ha-meem
Ha, Meem.Ali Quli Qarai
Ḥā, Meem.Saheeh International
-
45:2
تَ
نز ِيلُٱ لْكِتَٰ بِ مِنَٱ للَّهِٱ لْعَزِيزِٱ لْحَكِي مِ ٢Tanzeelu alkitabi mina AllahialAAazeezi alhakeem
The [gradual] sending down of the Book is from Allah, the All-mighty, All-wise.Ali Quli Qarai
The revelation of the Book is from Allāh, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.Saheeh International
-
45:3
إِ
نّ َ فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ لََٔايَٰ تٍ ۢل ِّلْمُؤْمِنِي نَ ٣Inna fee assamawati wal-ardilaayatin lilmu/mineen
In the heavens and the earth there are indeed signs for the faithful,Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, within the heavens and earth are signs for the believers.Saheeh International
-
45:4
وَفِى خَلْقِكُمْ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِ
ن د َا ٓبَّةٍ ءَايَٰ تٌ ۭل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي ُوقِنُو نَ ٤Wafee khalqikum wama yabuththu min dabbatinayatun liqawmin yooqinoon
There are signs for people who have certainty in your own creation and in animals, He scatters abroad.Ali Quli Qarai
And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith].Saheeh International

45:5
وَ
ٱ خْتِلَٰ فِٱ لَّيْلِ وَٱ ل نّ َهَارِ وَمَآ أَنز َلَٱ للَّهُ مِنَٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ مِن ر ِّزْقٍ ۢف َأَحْيَا بِهِٱ لْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَتَصْرِيفِٱ ل رِّيَٰ حِ ءَايَٰ تٌ ۭل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي َعْقِلُو نَ ٥Wakhtilafi allayli wannahariwama anzala Allahu mina assama-i minrizqin faahya bihi al-arda baAAda mawtihawatasreefi arriyahi ayatunliqawmin yaAAqiloon
There are signs for people who exercise their reason in the alternation of night and day, in the provision that Allah sends down from the sky, with which He revives the earth after its death, and in the changing of the winds.Ali Quli Qarai
And [in] the alternation of night and day and [in] what Allāh sends down from the sky of provision [i.e., rain] and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and [in His] directing of the winds are signs for a people who reason.Saheeh International

45:6
تِلْكَ ءَايَ
ٰ تُٱ للَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱ لْحَقِّ ۖ فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ ب َعْدَٱ للَّهِ وَءَايَٰ تِهِۦ يُؤْمِنُو نَ ٦Tilka ayatu Allahinatlooha AAalayka bilhaqqi fabi-ayyi hadeethinbaAAda Allahi waayatihi yu/minoon
These are the signs of Allah that We recite for you in truth. So what discourse will they believe after Allah and His signs?Ali Quli Qarai
These are the verses of Allāh which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allāh and His verses will they believe?Saheeh International
-
45:7
وَيْ
لٌ ۭل ِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِي مٍۢ ٧Waylun likulli affakin atheem
Woe to every sinful liar,Ali Quli Qarai
Woe to every sinful liarSaheeh International
-
45:8
يَسْمَعُ ءَايَ
ٰ تِٱ للَّهِ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ثُمّ َ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرً ۭا ك َأَن ل َّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِي مٍۢ ٨YasmaAAu ayati Allahitutla AAalayhi thumma yusirru mustakbiran kaan lamyasmaAAha fabashshirhu biAAathabin aleem
who hears the signs of Allah being recited to him, yet persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So inform him of a painful punishment.Ali Quli Qarai
Who hears the verses of Allāh recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.Saheeh International

45:9
وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ ءَايَ
ٰ تِنَا شَئًْاٱ تَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُو۟ لَٰٓ ئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ ۭم ُّهِي نٌۭ ٩Wa-itha AAalima min ayatinashay-an ittakhathaha huzuwan ola-ika lahumAAathabun muheen
Should he learn anything about Our signs, he takes them in derision. For such there is a humiliating punishment.Ali Quli Qarai
And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.Saheeh International

45:10
مّ
ِن و َرَا ٓئِهِمْ جَهَنّ َمُ ۖ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُم م َّا كَسَبُوا۟ شَئًْ ۭا و َلَا مَاٱ تَّخَذُوا۟ مِن د ُونِٱ للَّهِ أَوْلِيَا ٓءَ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِي مٌ ١٠Min wara-ihim jahannamu walayughnee AAanhum ma kasaboo shay-an wala maittakhathoo min dooni Allahi awliyaa walahumAAathabun AAatheem
Ahead of them is hell, and neither what they have earned, nor what they had taken as guardians besides Allah will avail them in any way, and there is a great punishment for them.Ali Quli Qarai
Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allāh as allies. And they will have a great punishment.Saheeh International

45:11
هَ
ٰ ذَا هُدً ۭى ۖ و َٱ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بَِٔايَٰ تِ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ ۭم ِّن ر ِّجْ زٍ أَلِي مٌ ١١Hatha hudan wallatheenakafaroo bi-ayati rabbihim lahum AAathabunmin rijzin aleem
This is [true] guidance, and there is a painful punishment due to defilement for those who defy the signs of their Lord.Ali Quli Qarai
This [Qur’ān] is guidance. And those who have disbelieved in the verses of their Lord will have a painful punishment of foul nature.Saheeh International
-
45:12
۞ ٱللَّهُ
ٱ لَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَكُمُٱ لْبَحْرَ لِتَجْ رِىَٱ لْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْ تَغُوا۟ مِن ف َضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُو نَ ١٢Allahu allathee sakhkharalakumu albahra litajriya alfulku feehi bi-amrihiwalitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroon
It is Allah who disposed the sea for you[r benefit] so that the ships may sail in it by His command, that you may seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks.Ali Quli Qarai
It is Allāh who subjected to you the sea so that ships may sail upon it by His command and that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.Saheeh International

45:13
وَسَخَّرَ لَك
ُم م َّا فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَمَا فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ جَمِيعً ۭا م ِّنْهُ ۚ إِنّ َ فِى ذَٰ لِكَ لََٔايَٰ تٍ ۢل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي َتَفَكَّرُو نَ ١٣Wasakhkhara lakum ma fee assamawatiwama fee al-ardi jameeAAan minhu inna fee thalikalaayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroon
He has disposed for you[r benefit] whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth; all is from Him. There are indeed signs in that for a people who reflect.Ali Quli Qarai
And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth - all from Him. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.Saheeh International

45:14
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُو
ا۟ يَغْفِرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ أَيَّامَٱ للَّهِ لِيَجْ زِىَ قَوْمًۢا ب ِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُو نَ ١٤Qul lillatheena amanooyaghfiroo lillatheena la yarjoona ayyama Allahiliyajziya qawman bima kanoo yaksiboon
Say to the faithful to forgive those who do not expect Allah’s days, that He may [Himself] requite every people for what they used to earn.Ali Quli Qarai
Say, [O Muḥammad], to those who have believed that they [should] forgive those who expect not the days of Allāh [i.e., of His retribution] so that He may recompense a people for what they used to earn.Saheeh International

45:15
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَ
ٰ لِحً ۭا ف َلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَنْ أَسَا ٓءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۖ ثُمّ َ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُو نَ ١٥Man AAamila salihanfalinafsihi waman asaa faAAalayha thumma ilarabbikum turjaAAoon
Whoever acts righteously, it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is to its own detriment, then you will be brought back to your Lord.Ali Quli Qarai
Whoever does a good deed - it is for himself; and whoever does evil - it is against it [i.e., the self or soul]. Then to your Lord you will be returned.Saheeh International

45:16
وَلَقَ
دْ ءَاتَيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰ ٓءِيلَٱ لْكِتَٰ بَ وَٱ لْحُكْمَ وَٱ ل نّ ُبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْ نَٰ هُم م ِّنَٱ ل طَّيِّبَٰ تِ وَفَضَّلْنَٰ هُمْ عَلَىٱ لْعَٰ لَمِي نَ ١٦Walaqad atayna banee isra-eelaalkitaba walhukma wannubuwwatawarazaqnahum mina attayyibati wafaddalnahumAAala alAAalameen
Certainly We gave the Children of Israel the Book, judgement and prophethood and We provided them with all the good things. We gave them an advantage over all the nations,Ali Quli Qarai
And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.Saheeh International

45:17
وَءَاتَيْنَ
ٰ هُم ب َيِّنَٰ تٍ ۢم ِّنَٱ لْأَمْرِ ۖ فَمَاٱ خْتَلَفُوٓ ا۟ إِلَّا مِنۢ ب َعْدِ مَا جَا ٓءَهُمُٱ لْعِلْمُ بَغْيًۢا ب َيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنّ َ رَبَّكَ يَقْ ضِى بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَٱ لْقِيَٰ مَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُو نَ ١٧Waataynahum bayyinatinmina al-amri fama ikhtalafoo illa min baAAdi majaahumu alAAilmu baghyan baynahum inna rabbaka yaqdeebaynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehiyakhtalifoon
and We gave them manifest precepts. But they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them, out of envy among themselves. Indeed your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that about which they used to differ.Ali Quli Qarai
And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.Saheeh International

45:18
ثُ
مّ َ جَعَلْنَٰ كَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٍ ۢم ِّنَٱ لْأَمْرِ فَٱ تَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَا ٓءَٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُو نَ ١٨Thumma jaAAalnaka AAalashareeAAatin mina al-amri fattabiAAha walatattabiAA ahwaa allatheena la yaAAlamoon
Then We set you upon a clear course of the Law; so follow it, and do not follow the desires of those who do not know.Ali Quli Qarai
Then We put you, [O Muḥammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know.Saheeh International
-
45:19
إِ
نّ َهُمْ لَن ي ُغْنُوا۟ عَنك َ مِنَٱ للَّهِ شَئًْ ۭا ۚ و َإِنّ َٱ ل ظَّٰ لِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَا ٓءُ بَعْضٍ ۢۖ و َٱ للَّهُ وَلِىُّٱ لْمُتَّقِي نَ ١٩Innahum lan yughnoo AAanka mina Allahishay-an wa-inna aththalimeena baAAduhumawliyao baAAdin wallahu waliyyualmuttaqeen
Indeed they will not avail you in any way against Allah. Indeed the wrongdoers are allies of one another, but Allah is the ally of the Godwary.Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, they will never avail you against Allāh at all. And indeed, the wrongdoers are allies of one another; but Allāh is the protector of the righteous.Saheeh International

45:20
هَ
ٰ ذَا بَصَٰٓ ئِرُ لِلنّ َاسِ وَهُدً ۭى و َرَحْمَةٌ ۭل ِّقَوْمٍ ۢي ُوقِنُو نَ ٢٠Hatha basa-iru linnasiwahudan warahmatun liqawmin yooqinoon
These are eye-openers for mankind, and guidance and mercy for a people who have certainty.Ali Quli Qarai
This [Qur’ān] is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy for a people who are certain [in faith].Saheeh International
-
45:21
أَمْ حَسِبَ
ٱ لَّذِينَٱ جْ تَرَحُوا۟ ٱ ل سَّئَِّاتِ أَن ن َّجْ عَلَهُمْ كَٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱ ل صَّٰ لِحَٰ تِ سَوَا ٓءً ۭم َّحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتُهُمْ ۚ سَا ٓءَ مَا يَحْكُمُو نَ ٢١Am hasiba allatheena ijtarahooassayyi-ati an najAAalahum kallatheenaamanoo waAAamiloo assalihati sawaanmahyahum wamamatuhum saa ma yahkumoon
Do those who have perpetrated misdeeds suppose that We shall treat them like those who have faith and do righteous deeds, their life and death being equal? Evil is the judgement that they make!Ali Quli Qarai
Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death? Evil is that which they judge [i.e., assume].Saheeh International

45:22
وَخَلَقَ
ٱ للَّهُٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضَ بِٱ لْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْ زَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ ب ِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُو نَ ٢٢Wakhalaqa Allahu assamawatiwal-arda bilhaqqi walitujzakullu nafsin bima kasabat wahum la yuthlamoon
Allah created the heavens and the earth with consummate wisdom, so that every soul may be requited for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.Ali Quli Qarai
And Allāh created the heavens and earth in truth and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.Saheeh International
-
45:23
أَفَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ
ٱ تَّخَذَ إِلَٰ هَهُۥ هَوَىٰ هُ وَأَضَلَّهُٱ للَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ ۢو َخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِۦ وَقَلْبِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِۦ غِشَٰ وَةً ۭف َمَن ي َهْدِيهِ مِنۢ ب َعْدِٱ للَّهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُو نَ ٢٣Afaraayta mani ittakhatha ilahahuhawahu waadallahu Allahu AAalaAAilmin wakhatama AAala samAAihi waqalbihi wajaAAala AAalabasarihi ghishawatan faman yahdeehi min baAAdi Allahiafala tathakkaroon
Have you seen him who has taken his desire to be his god and whom Allah has led astray knowingly, set a seal upon his hearing and heart, and put a blindfold on his sight? So who will guide him after Allah [has consigned him to error]? Will you not then take admonition?Ali Quli Qarai
Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allāh has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allāh? Then will you not be reminded?Saheeh International
-
45:24
وَقَالُو
ا۟ مَا هِىَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَاٱ ل دُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا يُهْلِكُنَآ إِلَّاٱ ل دَّهْرُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم ب ِذَٰ لِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنّ ُو نَ ٢٤Waqaloo ma hiya illa hayatunaaddunya namootu wanahya wamayuhlikuna illa addahru wama lahum bithalikamin AAilmin in hum illa yathunnoon
They say, ‘There is nothing but the life of this world: we live and we die, and nothing but time destroys us.’ But they do not have any knowledge of that, and they only make conjectures.Ali Quli Qarai
And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time." And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming.Saheeh International

45:25
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَ
ٰ تُنَا بَيِّنَٰ تٍ ۢم َّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن ق َالُوا۟ ٱ ئْتُوا۟ بَِٔابَا ٓئِنَآ إِن ك ُنت ُمْ صَٰ دِقِي نَ ٢٥Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin ma kana hujjatahum illaan qaloo i/too bi-aba-ina in kuntum sadiqeen
When Our manifest signs are recited to them, their only argument is to say, ‘Bring our fathers back [to life], if you are truthful.’Ali Quli Qarai
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, their argument is only that they say, "Bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful."Saheeh International

45:26
قُلِ
ٱ للَّهُ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمّ َ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمّ َ يَجْ مَعُكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِٱ لْقِيَٰ مَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَلَٰ كِنّ َ أَكْثَرَٱ ل نّ َاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُو نَ ٢٦Quli Allahu yuhyeekum thummayumeetukum thumma yajmaAAukum ila yawmi alqiyamatila rayba feehi walakinna akthara annasila yaAAlamoon
Say, ‘It is Allah who gives you life, then He makes you die. Then He will gather you on the Day of Resurrection, in which there is no doubt. But most people do not know.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Allāh causes you to live, then causes you to die; then He will assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt, but most of the people do not know."Saheeh International

45:27
وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ
ٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ ۚ وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُٱ ل سَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ۢي َخْسَرُٱ لْمُبْ طِلُو نَ ٢٧Walillahi mulku assamawatiwal-ardi wayawma taqoomu assaAAatuyawma-ithin yakhsaru almubtiloon
To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and when the Hour sets in, the falsifiers will be losers on that day.Ali Quli Qarai
And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And the Day the Hour appears - that Day the falsifiers will lose.Saheeh International
-
45:28
وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُ
مّ َةٍ ۢج َاثِيَةً ۭۚ ك ُلُّ أُمّ َةٍ ۢت ُدْ عَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ كِتَٰ بِهَاٱ لْيَوْمَ تُجْ زَوْنَ مَا كُنت ُمْ تَعْمَلُو نَ ٢٨Watara kulla ommatin jathiyatankullu ommatin tudAAa ila kitabihaalyawma tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloon
And you will see every nation fallen on its knees. Every nation will be summoned to its book: ‘Today you will be requited for what you used to do.Ali Quli Qarai
And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.Saheeh International

45:29
هَ
ٰ ذَا كِتَٰ بُنَا يَنط ِقُ عَلَيْكُم ب ِٱ لْحَقِّ ۚ إِنّ َا كُنّ َا نَسْتَنس ِخُ مَا كُنت ُمْ تَعْمَلُو نَ ٢٩Hatha kitabuna yantiquAAalaykum bilhaqqi inna kunnanastansikhu ma kuntum taAAmaloon
This is Our book, which speaks truly against you. Indeed We used to record what you used to do.’Ali Quli Qarai
This, Our record, speaks about you in truth. Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do."Saheeh International
-
45:30
فَأَ
مّ َاٱ لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱ ل صَّٰ لِحَٰ تِ فَيُدْ خِلُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰ لِكَ هُوَٱ لْفَوْزُٱ لْمُبِي نُ ٣٠Faamma allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati fayudkhiluhumrabbuhum fee rahmatihi thalika huwa alfawzualmubeen
As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is the manifest success!Ali Quli Qarai
So as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is what is the clear attainment.Saheeh International
-
45:31
وَأَ
مّ َاٱ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓ ا۟ أَفَلَمْ تَكُنْ ءَايَٰ تِى تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَٱ سْتَكْبَرْتُمْ وَكُنت ُمْ قَوْمً ۭا م ُّجْ رِمِي نَ ٣١Waamma allatheena kafarooafalam takun ayatee tutla AAalaykum fastakbartumwakuntum qawman mujrimeen
But as for the faithless, [they will be asked,] ‘Were not My signs recited to you? But you were disdainful, and you were a guilty lot.Ali Quli Qarai
But as for those who disbelieved, [it will be said], "Were not Our verses recited to you, but you were arrogant and became a criminal people?Saheeh International
-
45:32
وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِ
نّ َ وَعْدَٱ للَّهِ حَقٌّ ۭو َٱ ل سَّاعَةُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا قُلْتُم م َّا نَدْ رِى مَاٱ ل سَّاعَةُ إِن ن َّظُنّ ُ إِلَّا ظَنًّ ۭا و َمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِي نَ ٣٢Wa-itha qeela inna waAAda Allahihaqqun wassaAAatu la rayba feehaqultum ma nadree ma assaAAatu in nathunnuilla thannan wama nahnubimustayqineen
When it was said, ‘‘Allah’s promise is indeed true, and there is no doubt about the Hour,’’ you said, ‘‘We do not know what the Hour is. We know nothing beyond conjectures, and we do not possess any certainty.’’ ’Ali Quli Qarai
And when it was said, 'Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth and the Hour [is coming] - no doubt about it,' you said, 'We know not what is the Hour. We assume only assumption, and we are not convinced.'"Saheeh International

45:33
وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَئَِّاتُ مَا عَمِلُو
ا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم م َّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُو نَ ٣٣Wabada lahum sayyi-atu maAAamiloo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihiyastahzi-oon
The evils of what they had done will appear to them, and they will be besieged by what they used to deride.Ali Quli Qarai
And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule.Saheeh International

45:34
وَقِيلَ
ٱ لْيَوْمَ نَنس َىٰ كُمْ كَمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَا ٓءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰ ذَا وَمَأْوَىٰ كُمُٱ ل نّ َارُ وَمَا لَكُم م ِّن ن َّٰ صِرِي نَ ٣٤Waqeela alyawma nansakum kamanaseetum liqaa yawmikum hatha wama/wakumu annaruwama lakum min nasireen
And it will be said, ‘Today We will forget you, just as you forgot the encounter of this day of yours. The Fire will be your abode, and you will not have any helpers.Ali Quli Qarai
And it will be said, "Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours, and your refuge is the Fire, and for you there are no helpers.Saheeh International

45:35
ذَ
ٰ لِكُم ب ِأَنّ َكُمُٱ تَّخَذْتُمْ ءَايَٰ تِٱ للَّهِ هُزُوً ۭا و َغَرَّتْكُمُٱ لْحَيَو ٰ ةُٱ ل دُّنْيَا ۚ فَٱ لْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُو نَ ٣٥Thalikum bi-annakumu ittakhathtumayati Allahi huzuwan wagharratkumu alhayatuaddunya falyawma la yukhrajoonaminha wala hum yustaAAtaboon
That is because you took the signs of Allah in derision, and the life of the world had deceived you.’ So today, they will not be brought out of it, nor will they be asked to propitiate [Allah].Ali Quli Qarai
That is because you took the verses of Allāh in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you." So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [Allāh].Saheeh International

45:36
فَلِلَّهِ
ٱ لْحَمْدُ رَبِّٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَرَبِّٱ لْأَرْضِ رَبِّٱ لْعَٰ لَمِي نَ ٣٦Falillahi alhamdu rabbi assamawatiwarabbi al-ardi rabbi alAAalameen
So all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of all the worlds.Ali Quli Qarai
Then, to Allāh belongs [all] praise - Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds.Saheeh International

45:37
وَلَهُ
ٱ لْكِبْ رِيَا ٓءُ فِىٱ ل سَّمَٰ وَٰ تِ وَٱ لْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَٱ لْعَزِيزُٱ لْحَكِي مُ ٣٧Walahu alkibriyao fee assamawatiwal-ardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeem
To Him belongs all supremacy in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.Ali Quli Qarai
And to Him belongs [all] grandeur within the heavens and the earth, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.Saheeh International
