بِسْمِ
-
67:1
تَبَ
ٰ رَكَٱ لَّذِى بِيَدِهِٱ لْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ ۢق َدِي رٌ ١Tabaraka allathee biyadihialmulku wahuwa AAala kulli shay-in qadeer
Blessed is He in whose hands is all sovereignty, and He has power over all things.Ali Quli Qarai
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -Saheeh International
-
67:2
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ
ٱ لْمَوْتَ وَٱ لْحَيَو ٰ ةَ لِيَبْ لُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلً ۭاۚ و َهُوَٱ لْعَزِيزُٱ لْغَفُو رُ ٢Allathee khalaqa almawta walhayataliyabluwakum ayyukum ahsanu AAamalan wahuwa alAAazeezualghafoor
He, who created death and life that He may test you [to see] which of you is best in conduct. And He is the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.Ali Quli Qarai
[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -Saheeh International

67:3
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَ
بْ عَ سَمَٰ وَٰ تٍ ۢط ِبَاقً ۭا ۖ م َّا تَرَىٰ فِى خَلْقِٱ ل رَّحْمَٰ نِ مِن ت َفَٰ وُتٍ ۢۖ ف َٱ رْجِعِٱ لْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِن ف ُطُو رٍۢ ٣Allathee khalaqa sabAAa samawatintibaqan ma tara fee khalqi arrahmanimin tafawutin farjiAAi albasara hal taramin futoor
He created seven heavens in layers. You do not see any discordance in the creation of the All-beneficent. Look again! Do you see any flaw?Ali Quli Qarai
[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?Saheeh International

67:4
ثُ
مّ َٱ رْجِعِٱ لْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنق َلِبْ إِلَيْكَٱ لْبَصَرُ خَاسِئً ۭا و َهُوَ حَسِي رٌۭ ٤Thumma irjiAAi albasara karratayniyanqalib ilayka albasaru khasi-an wahuwa haseer
Look again, once more. Your look will return to you humbled and weary.Ali Quli Qarai
Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.Saheeh International

67:5
وَلَقَ
دْ زَيَّنّ َاٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءَٱ ل دُّنْيَا بِمَصَٰ بِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَٰ هَا رُجُومً ۭا ل ِّلشَّيَٰ طِينِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْ نَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَٱ ل سَّعِي رِ ٥Walaqad zayyanna assamaaaddunya bimasabeeha wajaAAalnaharujooman lishshayateeni waaAAtadna lahumAAathaba assaAAeer
We have certainly adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and made them [the means of pelting] missiles against the devils, and We have prepared for them a punishment of the Blaze.Ali Quli Qarai
And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with lamps [i.e., stars] and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.Saheeh International

67:6
وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُو
ا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنّ َمَ ۖ وَبِئْسَٱ لْمَصِي رُ ٦Walillatheena kafaroo birabbihim AAathabujahannama wabi/sa almaseer
For those who defy their Lord is the punishment of hell, and it is an evil destination.Ali Quli Qarai
And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.Saheeh International

67:7
إِذ
َآ أُلْقُوا۟ فِيهَا سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا شَهِيقً ۭا و َهِىَ تَفُو رُ ٧Itha olqoo feeha samiAAoo lahashaheeqan wahiya tafoor
When they are thrown in it, they hear it blaring, as it seethes,Ali Quli Qarai
When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up.Saheeh International

67:8
تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ
ٱ لْغَيْظِ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ ۭس َأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِي رٌۭ ٨Takadu tamayyazu mina alghaythikullama olqiya feeha fawjun saalahum khazanatuhaalam ya/tikum natheer
almost exploding with rage. Whenever a group is thrown in it, its keepers will ask them, ‘Did not any warner come to you?’Ali Quli Qarai
It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?"Saheeh International

67:9
قَالُو
ا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَا ٓءَنَا نَذِيرٌ ۭف َكَذَّبْ نَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَٱ للَّهُ مِن ش َىْءٍ إِنْ أَنت ُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰ لٍ ۢك َبِي رٍۢ ٩Qaloo bala qad jaananatheerun fakaththabna waqulna manazzala Allahu min shay-in in antum illa fee dalalinkabeer
They will say, ‘Yes, a warner did come to us, but we impugned [him] and said, ‘Allah did not send down anything; you are only in great error.’Ali Quli Qarai
They will say, "Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allāh has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'"Saheeh International

67:10
وَقَالُو
ا۟ لَوْ كُنّ َا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنّ َا فِىٓ أَصْحَٰ بِٱ ل سَّعِي رِ ١٠Waqaloo law kunna nasmaAAu awnaAAqilu ma kunna fee as-habi assaAAeer
And they will say, ‘Had we listened or applied reason, we would not have been among inmates of the Blaze.’Ali Quli Qarai
And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."Saheeh International

67:11
فَ
ٱ عْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذَنۢب ِهِمْ فَسُحْقً ۭا ل ِّأَصْحَٰ بِٱ ل سَّعِي رِ ١١FaAAtarafoo bithanbihim fasuhqanli-as-habi assaAAeer
Thus they will admit their sin. So away with the inmates of the Blaze!Ali Quli Qarai
And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze.Saheeh International

67:12
إِ
نّ َٱ لَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم ب ِٱ لْغَيْبِ لَهُم م َّغْفِرَةٌ ۭو َأَجْ رٌ ۭك َبِي رٌۭ ١٢Inna allatheena yakhshawna rabbahumbilghaybi lahum maghfiratun waajrun kabeer
Indeed for those who fear their Lord in secret there will be forgiveness and a great reward.Ali Quli Qarai
Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.Saheeh International

67:13
وَأَسِرُّو
ا۟ قَوْلَكُمْ أَوِٱ جْ هَرُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ ۖ إِنّ َهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ ب ِذَاتِٱ ل صُّدُو رِ ١٣Waasirroo qawlakum awi ijharoo bihi innahuAAaleemun bithati assudoor
Speak secretly, or do so openly, indeed He knows well what is in the breasts.Ali Quli Qarai
And conceal your speech or publicize it; indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.Saheeh International

67:14
أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ
ٱ ل لَّطِيفُٱ لْخَبِي رُ ١٤Ala yaAAlamu man khalaqa wahuwa allateefualkhabeer
Would He who has created not know? And He is the All-attentive, the All-aware.Ali Quli Qarai
Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Aware?Saheeh International

67:15
هُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُٱ لْأَرْضَ ذَلُولً ۭاف َٱ مْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن ر ِّزْقِهِۦ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِٱ ل نّ ُشُو رُ ١٥Huwa allathee jaAAala lakumu al-ardathaloolan famshoo fee manakibihawakuloo min rizqihi wa-ilayhi annushoor
It is He who made the earth tractable for you; so walk on its flanks and eat of His provision, and towards Him is the resurrection.Ali Quli Qarai
It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection.Saheeh International

67:16
ءَأَمِ
نت ُم م َّن ف ِىٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ أَن ي َخْسِفَ بِكُمُٱ لْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَمُو رُ ١٦Aamintum man fee assama-i anyakhsifa bikumu al-arda fa-itha hiya tamoor
Are you secure that He who is in the sky will not make the earth swallow you while it quakes?Ali Quli Qarai
Do you feel secure that He who is above would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway?Saheeh International
-
67:17
أَمْ أَمِ
نت ُم م َّن ف ِىٱ ل سَّمَا ٓءِ أَن ي ُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبً ۭا ۖ ف َسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِي رِ ١٧Am amintum man fee assama-ian yursila AAalaykum hasiban fasataAAlamoona kayfa natheer
Are you secure that He who is in the sky will not unleash upon you a rain of stones? Soon you will know how My warning has been!Ali Quli Qarai
Or do you feel secure that He who is above would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning.Saheeh International

67:18
وَلَقَ
دْ كَذَّبَٱ لَّذِينَ مِن ق َبْ لِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِي رِ ١٨Walaqad kaththaba allatheenamin qablihim fakayfa kana nakeer
Certainly those who were before them had impugned [My apostles]; but then how was My rebuttal!Ali Quli Qarai
And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach.Saheeh International

67:19
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْ
ا۟ إِلَىٱ ل طَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَٰٓ فَّٰ تٍ ۢو َيَقْ بِضْنَ ۚ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنّ َ إِلَّاٱ ل رَّحْمَٰ نُ ۚ إِنّ َهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۭ ب َصِي رٌ ١٩Awa lam yaraw ila attayrifawqahum saffatin wayaqbidna mayumsikuhunna illa arrahmanu innahubikulli shay-in baseer
Have they not regarded the birds above them spreading and closing their wings? No one sustains them except the All-beneficent. Indeed, He watches all things.Ali Quli Qarai
Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing.Saheeh International

67:20
أَ
مّ َنْ هَٰ ذَاٱ لَّذِى هُوَ جُندٌ ۭل َّكُمْ يَنص ُرُكُم م ِّن د ُونِٱ ل رَّحْمَٰ نِ ۚ إِنِٱ لْكَٰ فِرُونَ إِلَّا فِى غُرُو رٍ ٢٠Amman hatha allathee huwajundun lakum yansurukum min dooni arrahmaniini alkafiroona illa fee ghuroor
Who is it that is your host who may help you, besides the All-beneficent? The faithless only dwell in delusion.Ali Quli Qarai
Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion.Saheeh International

67:21
أَ
مّ َنْ هَٰ ذَاٱ لَّذِى يَرْزُقُكُمْ إِنْ أَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهُۥ ۚ بَل لَّجُّوا۟ فِى عُتُوٍّ ۢو َنُفُو رٍ ٢١Amman hatha allatheeyarzuqukum in amsaka rizqahu bal lajjoo fee AAutuwwin wanufoor
Who is it that may provide for you if He withholds His provision? Indeed, they persist in defiance and aversion.Ali Quli Qarai
Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion.Saheeh International

67:22
أَفَم
َن ي َمْشِى مُكِبًّا عَلَىٰ وَجْ هِهِۦٓ أَهْدَىٰٓ أَمّ َن ي َمْشِى سَوِيًّا عَلَىٰ صِرَٰ طٍ ۢم ُّسْتَقِي مٍۢ ٢٢Afaman yamshee mukibban AAala wajhihiahda amman yamshee sawiyyan AAala siratinmustaqeem
Is he who walks prone on his face better guided, or he who walks upright on a straight path?Ali Quli Qarai
Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path?Saheeh International

67:23
قُلْ هُوَ
ٱ لَّذِىٓ أَنش َأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُٱ ل سَّمْعَ وَٱ لْأَبْ صَٰ رَ وَٱ لْأَفِْٔدَةَ ۖ قَلِيلً ۭام َّا تَشْكُرُو نَ ٢٣Qul huwa allathee anshaakum wajaAAalalakumu assamAAa wal-absara wal-af-idataqaleelan ma tashkuroon
Say, ‘It is He who created you, and made for you hearing, eyesight, and hearts. Little do you thank.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts [i.e., intellect]; little are you grateful."Saheeh International

67:24
قُلْ هُوَ
ٱ لَّذِى ذَرَأَكُمْ فِىٱ لْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُو نَ ٢٤Qul huwa allathee tharaakumfee al-ardi wa-ilayhi tuhsharoon
Say, ‘It is He who created you on the earth, and toward Him you will be mustered.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered."Saheeh International
-
67:25
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَ
ٰ ذَاٱ لْوَعْدُ إِن ك ُنت ُمْ صَٰ دِقِي نَ ٢٥Wayaqooloona mata hathaalwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeen
They say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?’Ali Quli Qarai
And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"Saheeh International

67:26
قُلْ إِ
نّ َمَاٱ لْعِلْمُ عِند َٱ للَّهِ وَإِنّ َمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌ ۭم ُّبِي نٌۭ ٢٦Qul innama alAAilmu AAinda Allahiwa-innama ana natheerun mubeen
Say, ‘Its knowledge is only with Allah; I am only a manifest warner.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "The knowledge is only with Allāh, and I am only a clear warner."Saheeh International

67:27
فَلَ
مّ َا رَأَوْهُ زُلْفَةً ۭس ِيٓ َٔتْ وُجُوهُٱ لَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَقِيلَ هَٰ ذَاٱ لَّذِى كُنت ُم ب ِهِۦ تَدَّعُو نَ ٢٧Falamma raawhu zulfatan see-atwujoohu allatheena kafaroo waqeela hatha allatheekuntum bihi taddaAAoon
When they see it brought near, the countenances of the faithless will be contorted, and [they will be] told, ‘This is what you were asking for!’Ali Quli Qarai
But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call."Saheeh International

67:28
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَهْلَكَنِىَ
ٱ للَّهُ وَمَن م َّعِىَ أَوْ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن ي ُجِيرُٱ لْكَٰ فِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِي مٍۢ ٢٨Qul araaytum in ahlakaniya Allahuwaman maAAiya aw rahimana faman yujeeru alkafireenamin AAathabin aleem
Say, ‘Tell me, whether Allah destroys me and those who are with me, or He has mercy on us, who will shelter the faithless from a painful punishment?’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, [O Muḥammad], "Have you considered: whether Allāh should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?"Saheeh International

67:29
قُلْ هُوَ
ٱ ل رَّحْمَٰ نُ ءَامَنّ َا بِهِۦ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَٰ لٍ ۢم ُّبِي نٍۢ ٢٩Qul huwa arrahmanu amannabihi waAAalayhi tawakkalna fasataAAlamoona man huwa fee dalalinmubeen
Say, ‘He is the All-beneficent; we have faith in Him, and in Him do we trust. Soon you will know who is in manifest error.’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error."Saheeh International

67:30
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ م
َا ٓؤُكُمْ غَوْرً ۭا ف َمَن ي َأْتِيكُم ب ِمَا ٓءٍ ۢم َّعِي نٍۭ ٣٠Qul araaytum in asbaha maokumghawran faman ya/teekum bima-in maAAeen
Say, ‘Tell me, should your water sink down [into the ground], who will bring you running water?’Ali Quli Qarai
Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"Saheeh International
