التين

At-Tin · The Fig

8 verses · Revealed in Makkah

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 95:1

   وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ ۝١

   QaraiBy the fig and the olive,

2. 95:2

   وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ۝٢

   Qaraiby Mount Sinai,

3. 95:3

   وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ ۝٣

   Qaraiand by this secure town:

4. 95:4

   لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ ۝٤

   QaraiWe certainly created man in the best of forms;

5. 95:5

   ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ ۝٥

   Qaraithen We relegated him to the lowest of the low,

6. 95:6

   إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ ۝٦

   Qaraiexcept those who have faith and do righteous deeds. There will be an everlasting reward for them.

7. 95:7

   فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ ۝٧

   QaraiSo what makes you deny the Retribution?

8. 95:8

   أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ ۝٨

   QaraiIs not Allah the fairest of all judges?
