Al-'Adiyat · The Courser

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 100:1

   وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًا ۝١

   QaraiBy the snorting chargers,

2. 100:2

   فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًا ۝٢

   Qaraiby the strikers of sparks [with their hoofs],

3. 100:3

   فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا ۝٣

   Qaraiby the raiders at dawn,

4. 100:4

   فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا ۝٤

   Qarairaising therein a trail of dust,

5. 100:5

   فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا ۝٥

   Qaraiand cleaving therein a host!

6. 100:6

   إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ ۝٦

   QaraiIndeed man is ungrateful to his Lord,

7. 100:7

   وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ ۝٧

   Qaraiand indeed he is [himself] witness to that!

8. 100:8

   وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ۝٨

   QaraiAnd indeed he is an avid lover of wealth.

9. 100:9

   ۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ ۝٩

   QaraiDoes he not know, when what is [buried] in the graves is turned over,

10. 100:10

    وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ ۝١٠

    Qaraiand what is [concealed] in the breasts is divulged,

11. 100:11

    إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ ۝١١

    Qaraion that day their Lord will be well informed about them [and their deeds]?
