بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. 50:1

    قٓ ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْمَجِيدِ ۝١

  2. 50:2

    بَلْ عَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ فَقَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا شَىْءٌ عَجِيبٌ ۝٢

    Indeed they consider it odd that a warner from among themselves should have come to them. So the faithless say, ‘This is an odd thing.’Ali Quli Qarai

  3. 50:3

    أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا ۖ ذَٰلِكَ رَجْعٌۢ بَعِيدٌۭ ۝٣

    ‘What! When we are dead and have become dust, [shall we be raised again]? That is a far-fetched return!’Ali Quli Qarai

  4. 50:4

    قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنقُصُ ٱلْأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَعِندَنَا كِتَٰبٌ حَفِيظٌۢ ۝٤

    We know what the earth diminishes from them, and with Us is a preserving Book.Ali Quli Qarai

  5. 50:5

    بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِىٓ أَمْرٍۢ مَّرِيجٍ ۝٥

    Indeed, they denied the truth when it came to them; so they are now in a perplexed state of affairs.Ali Quli Qarai

  6. 50:6

    أَفَلَمْ يَنظُرُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَوْقَهُمْ كَيْفَ بَنَيْنَٰهَا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِن فُرُوجٍۢ ۝٦

    Have they not, then, observed the heaven above them, how We have built it and adorned it, and that there are no cracks in it?Ali Quli Qarai

  7. 50:7

    وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۭ بَهِيجٍۢ ۝٧

    And We spread out the earth, and cast in it firm mountains, and caused every delightful kind [of vegetation] to grow in it.Ali Quli Qarai

  8. 50:8

    تَبْصِرَةًۭ وَذِكْرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍۢ مُّنِيبٍۢ ۝٨

    [In this there is] an insight and admonition for every penitent servant.Ali Quli Qarai

  9. 50:9

    وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ مُّبَٰرَكًۭا فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَحَبَّ ٱلْحَصِيدِ ۝٩

    We send down from the sky salubrious water, with which We grow gardens and the grain which is harvested,Ali Quli Qarai

  10. 50:10

    وَٱلنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَٰتٍۢ لَّهَا طَلْعٌۭ نَّضِيدٌۭ ۝١٠

    and tall date palms with regularly set spathes,Ali Quli Qarai

  11. 50:11

    رِّزْقًۭا لِّلْعِبَادِ ۖ وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِۦ بَلْدَةًۭ مَّيْتًۭا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْخُرُوجُ ۝١١

    as a provision for Our servants, and with it We revive a dead country. Likewise will be the rising [from the dead].Ali Quli Qarai

  12. 50:12

    كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍۢ وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ ۝١٢

    The people of Noah denied before them, and [so did] the people of Rass and Thamud,Ali Quli Qarai

    وَعَادٌۭ وَفِرْعَوْنُ وَإِخْوَٰنُ لُوطٍۢ ۝١٣

    and ‘Ad, Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot,Ali Quli Qarai

  14. 50:14

    وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍۢ ۚ كُلٌّۭ كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِ ۝١٤

    and the inhabitants of Aykah and the people of Tubbac. Each [of them] impugned the apostles, and so My threat became due [against them].Ali Quli Qarai

  15. 50:15

    أَفَعَيِينَا بِٱلْخَلْقِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى لَبْسٍۢ مِّنْ خَلْقٍۢ جَدِيدٍۢ ۝١٥

    Have We been exhausted by the first creation? No, they are in doubt about a new creation.Ali Quli Qarai

  16. 50:16

    وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفْسُهُۥ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ ۝١٦

    Certainly We have created man and We know to what his soul tempts him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.Ali Quli Qarai

  17. 50:17

    إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى ٱلْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌۭ ۝١٧

    When the twin recorders record [his deeds], seated on the right hand and on the left:Ali Quli Qarai

  18. 50:18

    مَّا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌۭ ۝١٨

    he says no word but that there is a ready observer beside him.Ali Quli Qarai

  19. 50:19

    وَجَآءَتْ سَكْرَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ ۝١٩

    The throes of death bring the truth: ‘This is what you used to shun!’Ali Quli Qarai

  20. 50:20

    وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْوَعِيدِ ۝٢٠

    And the Trumpet will be blown: ‘This is the promised day.’Ali Quli Qarai

  21. 50:21

    وَجَآءَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ مَّعَهَا سَآئِقٌۭ وَشَهِيدٌۭ ۝٢١

    Every soul will come accompanied by [two angels], a driver, and a witness:Ali Quli Qarai

  22. 50:22

    لَّقَدْ كُنتَ فِى غَفْلَةٍۢ مِّنْ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌۭ ۝٢٢

    [he will be told] ‘You were certainly oblivious of this. We have removed your veil from you, and so today your eyesight is acute.’Ali Quli Qarai

  23. 50:23

    وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ هَٰذَا مَا لَدَىَّ عَتِيدٌ ۝٢٣

    Then his companion [angel] will say, ‘This is what is ready with me [of his record of deeds].’Ali Quli Qarai

  24. 50:24

    أَلْقِيَا فِى جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍۢ ۝٢٤

    [The two angels accompany him will be told,] ‘Cast every obdurate ingrate into hell,Ali Quli Qarai

  25. 50:25

    مَّنَّاعٍۢ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍۢ مُّرِيبٍ ۝٢٥

    [every] hinderer of good, transgressor, and skeptic,Ali Quli Qarai

  26. 50:26

    ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَأَلْقِيَاهُ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلشَّدِيدِ ۝٢٦

    who had set up another god along with Allah and cast him into the severe punishment.’Ali Quli Qarai

  27. 50:27

    ۞ قَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَآ أَطْغَيْتُهُۥ وَلَٰكِن كَانَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ ۝٢٧

    His companion [devil] will say, ‘Our Lord! I did not incite him to rebel [against You], but he was [himself] in extreme error.’Ali Quli Qarai

  28. 50:28

    قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِٱلْوَعِيدِ ۝٢٨

    He will say, ‘Do not wrangle in My presence, for I had already warned you in advance.Ali Quli Qarai

  29. 50:29

    مَا يُبَدَّلُ ٱلْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِظَلَّٰمٍۢ لِّلْعَبِيدِ ۝٢٩

    The word [of judgement] is unalterable with Me, and I am not tyrannical to My servants.’Ali Quli Qarai

  30. 50:30

    يَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ ٱمْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِن مَّزِيدٍۢ ۝٣٠

    The day when We shall say to hell, ‘Are you full?’ It will say, ‘Is there any more?’Ali Quli Qarai

  31. 50:31

    وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ ۝٣١

    And paradise will be brought near for the Godwary, it will not be distant [any more]:Ali Quli Qarai

  32. 50:32

    هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٍۢ ۝٣٢

    ‘This is what you were promised. [It is] for every penitent and dutiful [servant]Ali Quli Qarai

  33. 50:33

    مَّنْ خَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلْبٍۢ مُّنِيبٍ ۝٣٣

    who fears the All-beneficent in secret and comes with a penitent heart.Ali Quli Qarai

  34. 50:34

    ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍۢ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُلُودِ ۝٣٤

    Enter it in peace! This is the day of immortality.’Ali Quli Qarai

  35. 50:35

    لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌۭ ۝٣٥

    There they will have whatever they wish, and with Us there is yet more.Ali Quli Qarai

  36. 50:36

    وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًۭا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ ۝٣٦

    How many generations We have destroyed before them, who were stronger than these, insomuch that they ransacked the towns?! So, is there any escape [from Allah’s punishment]?Ali Quli Qarai

  37. 50:37

    إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌۭ ۝٣٧

    There is indeed an admonition in that for one who has a heart, or gives ear, being attentive.Ali Quli Qarai

  38. 50:38

    وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍۢ ۝٣٨

    Certainly We created the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them, in six days, and any fatigue did not touch Us.Ali Quli Qarai

  39. 50:39

    فَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ ٱلْغُرُوبِ ۝٣٩

    So be patient at what they say, and celebrate the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the sunset,Ali Quli Qarai

  40. 50:40

    وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ ۝٤٠

    and glorify Him through part of the night and after the prostrations.Ali Quli Qarai

  41. 50:41

    وَٱسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ ٱلْمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ ۝٤١

    And be on the alert for the day when the caller calls from a close quarter,Ali Quli Qarai

  42. 50:42

    يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ ٱلصَّيْحَةَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُرُوجِ ۝٤٢

    the day when they hear the Cry in all truth. That is the day of rising [from the dead].Ali Quli Qarai

  43. 50:43

    إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا ٱلْمَصِيرُ ۝٤٣

    Indeed it is We who give life and bring death, and toward Us is the [final] destination.Ali Quli Qarai

  44. 50:44

    يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌۭ ۝٤٤

    The day the earth is split open for [disentombing] them, [they will come out] hastening. That mustering is easy for Us [to carry out].Ali Quli Qarai

  45. 50:45

    نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍۢ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ ۝٤٥

    We know well what they say, and you are not there to compel them. So admonish by the Quran those who fear My threat.Ali Quli Qarai
