    وَٱلطُّورِ ۝١

    إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ ۝٧

    فَوَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝١١

    ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى خَوْضٍۢ يَلْعَبُونَ ۝١٢

    —those who play around in vain talk,Ali Quli Qarai

    يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا ۝١٣

    the day when they will be shoved forcibly toward the fire of hell, [and told:]Ali Quli Qarai

    هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ ۝١٤

    ‘This is the Fire which you used to deny!Ali Quli Qarai

  15. 52:15

    أَفَسِحْرٌ هَٰذَآ أَمْ أَنتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ ۝١٥

    Is this, then, [also] magic, or is it you who do not perceive?Ali Quli Qarai

  16. 52:16

    ٱصْلَوْهَا فَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ۝١٦

    Enter it, and it will be the same for you whether you are patient or impatient. You are only being requited for what you used to do.’Ali Quli Qarai

  17. 52:17

    إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَنَعِيمٍۢ ۝١٧

    Indeed the Godwary will be amid gardens and bliss,Ali Quli Qarai

  18. 52:18

    فَٰكِهِينَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَوَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ۝١٨

    rejoicing because of what their Lord has given them, and that their Lord has saved them from the punishment of hell.Ali Quli Qarai

  19. 52:19

    كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيًٓٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ۝١٩

    [They will be told:] ‘Enjoy your food and drink, [as a reward] for what you used to do.’Ali Quli Qarai

  20. 52:20

    مُتَّكِِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مَّصْفُوفَةٍۢ ۖ وَزَوَّجْنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍۢ ۝٢٠

    They will be reclining on arrayed couches, and We will wed them to big-eyed houris.Ali Quli Qarai

  21. 52:21

    وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَٰنٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَآ أَلَتْنَٰهُم مِّنْ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ ۚ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌۭ ۝٢١

    The faithful and their descendants who followed them in faith—We will make their descendants join them, and We will not stint anything from [the reward of] their deeds. Every person is hostage to what he has earned.Ali Quli Qarai

  22. 52:22

    وَأَمْدَدْنَٰهُم بِفَٰكِهَةٍۢ وَلَحْمٍۢ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ۝٢٢

    We will provide them with fruits and meat, such as they desire.Ali Quli Qarai

  23. 52:23

    يَتَنَٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًۭا لَّا لَغْوٌۭ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌۭ ۝٢٣

    There they will pass from hand to hand a cup wherein there will be neither any vain talk nor sinful speech.Ali Quli Qarai

  24. 52:24

    ۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَانٌۭ لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌۭ مَّكْنُونٌۭ ۝٢٤

    They will be waited upon by their youths, as if they were guarded pearls.Ali Quli Qarai

  25. 52:25

    وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ ۝٢٥

    They will turn to one another, questioning each other.Ali Quli Qarai

  26. 52:26

    قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِىٓ أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ ۝٢٦

    They will say, ‘Indeed, aforetime, we used to be apprehensive about our families.Ali Quli Qarai

  27. 52:27

    فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَىٰنَا عَذَابَ ٱلسَّمُومِ ۝٢٧

    But Allah showed us favour and He saved us from the punishment of the [infernal] miasma.Ali Quli Qarai

  28. 52:28

    إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ۝٢٨

    We used to supplicate Him aforetime. Indeed He is the All-benign, the All-merciful.’Ali Quli Qarai

  29. 52:29

    فَذَكِّرْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍۢ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ ۝٢٩

    So admonish. By your Lord’s blessing, you are not a soothsayer, nor mad.Ali Quli Qarai

  30. 52:30

    أَمْ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٌۭ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِۦ رَيْبَ ٱلْمَنُونِ ۝٣٠

    Do they say, ‘[He is] a poet, for whom we await a fatal accident’?Ali Quli Qarai

  31. 52:31

    قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا۟ فَإِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ ۝٣١

    Say, ‘Wait! I too am waiting along with you.’Ali Quli Qarai

  32. 52:32

    أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَٰمُهُم بِهَٰذَآ ۚ أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌۭ طَاغُونَ ۝٣٢

    Is it their intellect which prompts them to [say] this, or are they a rebellious lot?Ali Quli Qarai

  33. 52:33

    أَمْ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُۥ ۚ بَل لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ ۝٣٣

    Do they say, ‘He has improvised it [himself]?’ Rather, they have no faith!Ali Quli Qarai

  34. 52:34

    فَلْيَأْتُوا۟ بِحَدِيثٍۢ مِّثْلِهِۦٓ إِن كَانُوا۟ صَٰدِقِينَ ۝٣٤

    Let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful.Ali Quli Qarai

  35. 52:35

    أَمْ خُلِقُوا۟ مِنْ غَيْرِ شَىْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰلِقُونَ ۝٣٥

    Were they created from nothing? Or are they [their own] creators?Ali Quli Qarai

  36. 52:36

    أَمْ خَلَقُوا۟ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۚ بَل لَّا يُوقِنُونَ ۝٣٦

    Did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they have no certainty!Ali Quli Qarai

  37. 52:37

    أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُصَۣيْطِرُونَ ۝٣٧

    Do they possess the treasuries of your Lord? Or do they control [them]?Ali Quli Qarai

  38. 52:38

    أَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌۭ يَسْتَمِعُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُم بِسُلْطَٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍ ۝٣٨

    Do they have a ladder [leading up to heaven] whereby they eavesdrop? If so, let their eavesdropper produce a manifest authority.Ali Quli Qarai

  39. 52:39

    أَمْ لَهُ ٱلْبَنَٰتُ وَلَكُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ ۝٣٩

    Does He have daughters while you have sons?Ali Quli Qarai

  40. 52:40

    أَمْ تَسَْٔلُهُمْ أَجْرًۭا فَهُم مِّن مَّغْرَمٍۢ مُّثْقَلُونَ ۝٤٠

    Do you ask them for a reward, so that they are [wary of] being weighed down with debt?Ali Quli Qarai

  41. 52:41

    أَمْ عِندَهُمُ ٱلْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ ۝٤١

    Do they have [access to] the Unseen, which they write down?Ali Quli Qarai

  42. 52:42

    أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًۭا ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْمَكِيدُونَ ۝٤٢

    Do they seek to outmaneuver [Allah]? But it is the faithless who are the outmaneuvered ones!Ali Quli Qarai

  43. 52:43

    أَمْ لَهُمْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ۝٤٣

    Do they have any god other than Allah? Clear is Allah of any partners that they may ascribe [to Him]!Ali Quli Qarai

  44. 52:44

    وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ كِسْفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ سَاقِطًۭا يَقُولُوا۟ سَحَابٌۭ مَّرْكُومٌۭ ۝٤٤

    Were they to see a fragment falling from the sky, they would say, ‘A cumulous cloud.’Ali Quli Qarai

  45. 52:45

    فَذَرْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُوا۟ يَوْمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ يُصْعَقُونَ ۝٤٥

    So leave them until they encounter the day when they will be thunderstruck,Ali Quli Qarai

  46. 52:46

    يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَئًْۭا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ ۝٤٦

    the day when their guile will not avail them in any way, nor will they be helped.Ali Quli Qarai

  47. 52:47

    وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ عَذَابًۭا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ۝٤٧

    Indeed there is a punishment besides that for those who do wrong, but most of them do not know.Ali Quli Qarai

  48. 52:48

    وَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ ۝٤٨

    So submit patiently to the judgement of your Lord, for indeed you fare before Our eyes. And celebrate the praise of your Lord when you rise [at dawn],Ali Quli Qarai

  49. 52:49

    وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ ۝٤٩

    and also glorify Him during the night and at the receding of the stars.Ali Quli Qarai
