الإنشقاق

Al-Inshiqaq · The Sundering

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 84:1

   إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتْ ۝١

   QaraiWhen the sky is split open

2. 84:2

   وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ۝٢

   Qaraiand gives ear to its Lord as it should.

3. 84:3

   وَإِذَا ٱلْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ ۝٣

   QaraiWhen the earth is spread out

4. 84:4

   وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ ۝٤

   Qaraiand throws out what is in it, emptying itself,

5. 84:5

   وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ۝٥

   Qaraiand gives ear to its Lord as it should.

6. 84:6

   يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَٰقِيهِ ۝٦

   QaraiO man! You are labouring toward your Lord laboriously, and you will encounter Him.

7. 84:7

   فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ ۝٧

   QaraiThen, as for him who is given his record [of deeds] in his right hand,

8. 84:8

   فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا ۝٨

   Qaraihe will receive an easy reckoning,

9. 84:9

   وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ۝٩

   Qaraiand he will return to his folks joyfully.

10. 84:10

    وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهِۦ ۝١٠

    QaraiBut as for him who is given his record from behind his back,

11. 84:11

    فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا ۝١١

    Qaraihe will pray for annihilation

12. 84:12

    وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا ۝١٢

    Qaraiand enter the Blaze.

13. 84:13

    إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِىٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ۝١٣

    QaraiIndeed he used to be joyful among his folk,

14. 84:14

    إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ ۝١٤

    Qaraiand he thought that he would never return.

15. 84:15

    بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًا ۝١٥

    QaraiYes, his Lord had been watching him.

16. 84:16

    فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ ۝١٦

    QaraiI swear by the evening glow,

17. 84:17

    وَٱلَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ ۝١٧

    Qaraiby the night and what it is fraught with,

18. 84:18

    وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ ۝١٨

    Qaraiby the moon when it blooms full:

19. 84:19

    لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍ ۝١٩

    Qaraiyou will surely fare from stage to stage.

20. 84:20

    فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ۝٢٠

    QaraiWhat is the matter with them that they will not believe,

21. 84:21

    وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩ ۝٢١

    Qaraiand will not prostrate when the Quran is recited to them?

22. 84:22

    بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُكَذِّبُونَ ۝٢٢

    QaraiIndeed, the faithless impugn [the Apostle],

23. 84:23

    وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ ۝٢٣

    Qaraiand Allah knows best what they keep to themselves.

24. 84:24

    فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ۝٢٤

    QaraiSo inform them of a painful punishment,

25. 84:25

    إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۭ ۝٢٥

    Qaraiexcepting such as are faithful and do righteous deeds: for them there will be an everlasting reward.
